Even though I've never had a Costco membership since I was in my early twenties (I'm an old, bulk buying soul), I have never been through the gas line because the lines always looked to long and intimidating. Funny enough, it was the lines at the store across the street that led me here to fill up. I don't think I've ever seen prices this low since I started driving, many moons ago. I paid less than $20 to fill up my entire tank AND they had an attendant who was assigned to a block of dispensers to make sure they were spray downed and sanitized between each use. I love being able to fill up with quality gas at a significantly less cost than anywhere around! Sure there are lines but they go pretty quick! The hoses are long enough to go to either side of most vehicles ... except mine, but that's what I get for driving a boat. You must scan your Costco membership card then your credit card. Overall, this Costco Gas location is good. It is fairly clean and the quality of gas is great for cost members. Normally i dont reviews gas stations lol However Costco gas saves me money. Now you're gonna wait in a very long line but its worth it. Pay attention to what lane your in because the pump might not be on the same side as your gas tank. They do have pumps that can reach to the other side but i find it annoying. I get good mileage on gas too. You'll need your membership card before you pay and you have to pay by card. read more

Thankful for Costco gas. Premium gas for a 17 gallon car is not cheap. I think the price is usually 20-50 cents cheaper per gallon vs regular stations. Yes the lines are long (avoid weekend unless you come at opening), but it's worth the wait and the lines usually move. Before work and sometimes middle of the week in the evening are best times for me. I've been to Chantilly and Leesburg gas stations and they don't move as fast plus the location of this station is better. Today regular is $2.31 and premium is $2.58. read more

Prices are unbeatable; however, is it worth the time and drive? Costco Gas is such a money saver!! Four solid stars for wide aisles with multiple pumps and low prices. It's a nice added benefit with your Costco membership!! Now that my commute has (more than) tripled, I'm finding myself at the gas station filling my tank much more than before. Enter Costco Gas--always a little lower in price but sometimes a significant amount (around 30 to 50 cents per gallon, depending on the time of year). Because Costco Gas is such a bargain, there is always a line waiting to fill up. For this reason I don't recommend that you come during the evening commute when you're in a rush. I usually go early morning and pull right in to a pump with no wait. One thing that really helps cut down on line length is that Costco features extra long pump hoses--so even if your tank is on the opposite side, you can extend the nozzle to your gas receptacle across your vehicle. So just pull into the shortest line and stretch the long hose to fill your tank! This almost goes without saying but **don't forget your Costco card! Occasionally there is someone at the pump ahead of me who gets out of their car, opens the tank, goes to the pump and then shakes their head and does the process in reverse. read more

I use to have to go to manassas or sterling to get my Costco gas which made the price point though nice not worth the mileage to travel for it. But costco finally got smart and used some of their Ample parking to put in their own gas station at one of the busier costco I know of in the area! There are 16 pumps, they open early and close late. There are at least to workers patrolling the lanes in case someone needs help. All the lanes are clearly marked and the area for the lines when there are some for gas is completely cutoff from the main drag which keeps the parking lot traffic moving. Very well thought out placement of the gas station. It's fricken awesome! 3.47 for premium gas! I wish it was cheaper of course but I'll take it! read more

There is a line 99% of the time. Occasionally if I hit the time just right, I can usually pull up right to a pump. The price is always right. You must be a costco member. I like that all the traffic moves in one direction, it makes getting out a lot easier than a conventional gas station. I also like that you can drive up to either side of the pump because the hose is long enough to cross over the back of your car if your gas tank is on the opposite side of the car. read more

Costco Gas has been one of the best things about being a Costco member. I really enjoy the competitive pricing of the gas while knowing that I'm getting a quality product. This is not like going to a smaller, "generic" brand gas station, which I feel uneasy about at times because I don't know much about the brand. I know a lot about the Kirkland brand, and I trust it. Be warned that there is almost always a line, but it's worth the wait. I typically fill up the gas tank first before heading into the warehouse to avoid frozen items from sitting around and thawing on me. The hoses are extra long so you can fill up on either side. The employees there are top notch. They will come over to help you if you need it. I have not had a bad experience at Costco Gas. I spend so much time and money here it's ridiculous in all the best ways. From gas to grills, I can't stay out of this store.

Getting gas at this Costco is the best bang for your buck if you live around here (fairfax).. I used to find it inconvenient to have to wait in the long lines but I think 20-40 cent difference per gallon is worth it if you can spare the time. It's best to plan to go during the down times like early morning and late night. They are open until 9:30pm on weeknights and late enough on weekends, which I think is completely feasible. I think it's a great service and addition to Costco for members, makes my membership a little bit more worth it. Another great part is that you can pay with any CC/ debit card you want, you just have to swipe your Costco Citi card first. read more

Love Costco. My only complaint is the lines... The return policies are easy to understand and the products are generally very good. The meats are excellent. Lines here are always long but that's because of the prices of gas. It's amazing how many people here make pumping gas look like brain surgery. It seems the more people waiting, the slower people move. The station is clean and they have a lot of pumps. I've never seen them run out of gas or have any pumps out of service. I like the this location for prices, parking, gas station, organized, cleanliness ... only thing is that the customer service SUCKS! The managers/staff is always yelling at customers like their clients are criminals. It does feel like bunch of drill sergeants running the place. I've gotten yelled at multiple times for just being a customer so this time decided to post. I've gotten yelled at for doing a return that's not on the card when 3 of the people in my family has Costco card memberships. Tonight all I wanted was to get a fountain drink. I even asked nicely if I could grab a drink really quickly. They still had tons of people in the store shopping. It would have taken me 1 minute to grab a drink from the soda machine.
