I need to speak with my ex. Can you put my Exxon? A very long time ago this was called The Tigermarket and I met a girl here known as the Tigermarket Tease and I will always remember her. Except I don't. Yelp is the only place in the world that still calls this Tigermarket. It's now an A Plus, it has long since ceased to be a Tigermarket. It is still Exxon however and hopefully will always be Exxon. Definitely the most convenient place to fuel up before illegally cruising up and down Lower Broadway for 4 hours. I guess if they dropped the whole street into the river, then that really would Lower Broadway. Yes people still do that (cruising) but not to the degree that they used to because there's a lot of cops here now and the traffic has gotten worse and the available parking situation is nonexistent. So you're better off walking up and down Lower Broadway these days. read more

Thank god for the Laredo taco company or this gas station would get 1 star. The Laredo taco company is great. They are all over south Texas and I love their fresh tortillas. This market is a hangout for a group of bikers who like to see how loud they can rev their motorcycles while standing next to them. They will literally stand around for HOURS! Stay away if you have children in your vehicle. The loud music the bikers play isn't anything you want your kids to hear. There is also a group who gather to admire each other's souped up cars, lit up like Christmas trees. Why a group of grown men want to spend hours at a market looking at their rides is beyond me. Get on the things and ride to a biker bar somewhere. Why night management allows this gathering is a mystery. They aren't making money off this crowd. This is the gas station on Broadway where all the motorcycle-rs meet up on the weekend nights! I second the reviewer who mentioned that lots of people approach you in this parking lot. You don't usually have to wait for a pump, though! During peak hours it's tough to get out of the parking lot to turn left on 12th, or get into the left turning lane at that corner. BUT there's a car wash and a vacuum and an air pump for your tires (it costs $1 but the dollar slot is jammed - you have to have quarters). The market inside has ice cream! And lotssss of soft drink options. OK beer options, too. All around not the best bargain, but it has what you need. read more

Biggest issue, however, is you're going to have to deal with several people asking you for money when you're pumping your gas or simply walking inside. Selection's good. Usually this place is okay (minus the plethora of shady characters you will find lurking around the premises). Today--not so much. After unsuccessfully being able to use my debit card at the pump, I went inside to pay. Something was wrong with the payment system I was told. It seemed as though everyone else buying gas had the same problem. After paying inside, I had to return back to the attendant 3 times before having to change pumps twice. Finally it worked and the attendant was very nice and apologetic about it. Time consuming and inconvenient. Also, this Exxon has the worst windshield squeegees ever that need to be replaced on a more regular basis. Estimating a total of 30 minutes just to get gas here. read more

Worse place ever and it is in the best spot yet they seem to just not care. I keep trying hoping it will be better but it's not. I stopped in a couple of days ago and was like oh wow must be a new manger or something it was clean stocked coffee area was full cups and lids and ALL the coffee containers out and ppl filling stuff and 3 ppl at register!!! I stopped by in a Uber one night and I thought the gas station was open 24 hrs and the the girls had the doors locked. I tried to pull thinking it was a mistake and one girl approached me and told me to F off. I then returned fire because I definitely noticed a certain class of people who occupy these jobs in the South and she said she was going to call the cops in me after. As I left she opened the doors and walked out side and followed the Uber and took pictures of the car as that would do anything? Kind of stupid..... I returned the other night because it's next to my gym to get somethings and I saw her and asked her if she remembered me? She then said yes and said I had to leave the property and she couldn't sell to me? You bet I will have her job for this. Gave it another chance after a few years. Its near my work and convenient, BUT I'm not going to pay 30 cents more for a gallon of gas than North near my home and expect good service, then it remains a big disappointment. Panhandlers galore, miserable looking employees, leathery looking hot dogs, and sales don't ring up as sales. i know you guys are in a great location in downtown Nashville near music row and the highway, but if you don't improve then you are going to lose local business.
