Dude at the counter ran my card, cool but they had NO GAS. When I went out to pump, click click click so I went back inside and he said "oh man, I forgot! We're out of gas " and ran a refund. Thing is that takes 7-10 days to return and it froze the entire balance. So as of right now, I am STILL sitting on I40 out of gas trying to figure it out. Did I mention it's 12 hours later??? I called customer service and they took a report to contact the sales manager of the district but I have heard nothing. I told them I was running out of gas and exactly what kind of situation they put me in. They couldn't care less. I will never stop at a mapco again, if I survive this.

I used to be a religious Thornton's go-er but I think Shell may be my new stop. For starters you can use your Kroger Plus card to get discounts on gas here. Who doesn't love saving up to $1.00 a gallon?? They also have a huge selection of coffees, cappuccinos, and fountain sodas. Appears to be a bigger selection than Thornton's. Also seems to be more selection of creamers and other add-ons for your drinks. Coffees are .99 and fountain drinks are .89. They also have a decent selection of deli sandwiches, donuts, and other hot food items. Customer service is attentive, friendly, and quick. There are 2 other gas stations within sight of this one and in my opinion this one offers the most.

This makes them especially useful for topping off your rental car before bringing it back to the airport. This Racetrac was easy enough to get into, wide pump area and a working receipt printer. Getting back onto Donelson and headed back to the airport was okay enough in light traffic. In thicker traffic, you might want to drive another block so that you can use the traffic light to make a left and then a u-turn.

I was making a huge mess at the cold drink machine. I know that I was gonna irritate the people that worked in the store. I was so apologetic but these beautiful angels assisted me, while I was in the store, and made certain that I made it to my vehicle without hurting myself any further certain, because I wasn't 100% stable on my left knee. They were so happy to be of assistance and they took pride in their jobs. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. These two young ladies excelled in customer service. I would recommend them have their own store.. good employees are hard to find and you all got two diamonds in one store. Thank you, Mapco for hiring these beautiful angels. However, this location is a great Thorntons location that may have salvaged the brand as a whole for me! This location is well maintained, clean, organized, well stocked and has some of the cheapest gas prices in the metro area! Service was spot on as well. The cashier was welcoming and helpful from entry to exit. I am not on this side of town too often, but I am glad I know this Thorntons exists...as I will certainly be back!

This is not the auto shop for minor repairs or for people who have to watch their budget. My car stopped. I thought it was my alternator. The battery didn't seem to be holding a charge. I had taken out and had it tested and the auto parts place had told me I needed a new alternator. I had Pheonix come and get it. They were quick and responsive and all I needed was a new battery that ended up costing me 782 dollars after towing and the 149 dollar diagnostic. I would use them again for any MAJOR issue, but I'll never return for anything I even suspect is a minor repair. Nearly a thousand bucks for a battery seems excessive.

I came in for a simple TRAILER BRAKE ADJUSTMENT. Before even properly looking at my trailer, I was told I needed NEW SLACK ADJUSTERS. Apparently they have X-ray vision now and can diagnose bad parts from across the shop. Then they told me they wouldn't adjust the trailer brakes. Alright... no problem. I called a third-party mobile mechanic. He showed up, actually looked at the brakes, made the adjustment, and was DONE IN UNDER 2 MINUTES. Two minutes. No new slack adjusters. No parts cannon. No big repair bill. Just someone who knew how to adjust the brake. If you're going to tell an owner-operator that parts need replacing, maybe actually inspect the equipment first. Truck drivers already lose enough time and money on the road. We shouldn't have to worry about being told we need parts before anyone even checks the truck. Love's Mt. Juliet: before trying to sell truckers new parts, maybe invest in some training and teach the shop how trailer brakes and slack adjusters actually work. Save yourself the headache. Based on my experience, if you need a simple trailer brake adjustment, call a mobile mechanic. He might have you back on the road before Love's finishes telling you what parts they think you need. ONE STAR. The mobile mechanic earned the other four.

The Twice Daily carry an assortment foods and beverages from Krispy Kreme donuts, flavored coffee and tea, beer, sandwiches, salads, and Icees. I treat myself to a medium flavored coffee at least every two weeks. Their coffee costs less than $2.00 and has the right amount of jolt you need for that long morning commute.
