A last minute decision to find a new closer to home threading place lead me to Sola Salons. I called to see if and when I could get in as I was leaving an appointment and she advised she could get me in within 10 minutes. Perfect! When I walked in I did not know I was walking into a salon that basically is a space for individual salon services that have their own room. Pretty interesting. I walked to the right to see if I could find my location which of course was the wrong direction. As you walk in, go to the left, it's like the 3rd one in. Unit 114. She was waiting for me and we got right to work. Her chair is already in laid back position so you just have to make sure you're high enough in the chair for her to be able to move around. Manisha was quick but precise and made sure I was happy with everything. She takes cash or card which is nice since most I've been to only take cash and I rarely have it. Great first experience getting my eyebrows threaded. I was a bit hesitant at first because I am very picky. She was extremely nice and my eyebrows look great! I don't understand the good reviews. I came to manisha once and I won't be back. She was very nice. The plastic wrapped chair was gross to me. Looks like it would be harder to clean because the plastic is all bunched up and not changed between clients. I booked an appointment for a whole face threading and she went over my whole face, but when I looked in the mirror she did not get all of the hair I wanted removed. She missed a ton of spots on the places I asked her to go over thoroughly. She caused some infection in my face. It's been almost a month and I still have a few places that haven't healed completely. I arrived on time a tipped her well even though she didn't do a good job. Was a huge waste of money and have spent this whole month trying to get my skin to be less inflamed. This is not my first time with threading. I will NOT be back! read more

I went in for a simple brow wax . She went so low with the wax it was on the eye lip. I woke up with one eye swollen shut. Not to mention the skin missing on both eyebrows. It was extremely painful. I went in to see her and she could have cared less. She uses cheap wax and products. I had a huge Christmas party to go to but was not able to go. My one eye is still swollen. Her attitude and lack of sympathy was really upsetting. I can can only hope The swelling goes down for Christmas. read more

Came to do my eyebrows after my regular eyebrow lady moved to NJ and only comes a few times every other month..... she listened to what I wanted and made sure to check in with me every so often to ensure she wasn't taking too much hair! This is by far the best eyebrow threading I've found down here in Florida! I searched so so long and had so many people ruin my brows but when I took a chance here, I never turned back! She is attentive, gentle, professional as well as great at her craft! She also uses cold stone therapy!! I've had threading done from Phoenix and up and down the East Coast and never experienced the cold stone therapy. This in itself is a must try! Her space is also calming, clean and very professional. Best eyebrow salon I have ever been to! Manisha was an absolute pleasure, super accommodating and clean. I was nervous about going to a salon due to COVID-19 but she remained professional and aware of the current pandemic. She greeted me with a smile at the door, we both wore masks, she escorted me to her salon where I placed my items down and laid comfortably in her wrapped & sterile chair. It was private and intimate and at no point did I feel uncomfortable. My post-quarantine eyebrows were a hack job from me tweezing and shaving them with a razor myself but Manisha redeemed them! My eyebrows are perfectly arched, not too thin and she even suggested eyebrow tint which I happily added on to my service and now I am NEVER doing anything else different. I'm so happy that I found a gem this close to my work and can't wait to return every few weeks. I feel so beautiful and I don't feel like I broke the bank to get the desired result I was looking for.
