The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating. Everyone in my group got something different, and they made us feel completely comfortable--not like we were an inconvenience at all, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was top-notch, and everything felt smooth and easy from start to finish. I highly recommend Blush to anyone and everyone, the salon is clean and well maintained, the technicians are all very skilled and you always leave loving your nails. I've been to this salon twice and every time I'm disappointed. Overall the salon is clean and has plenty of stations available. I've gotten gel manicure and pedicures and they DO NOT LAST! It's frustrating as you come out paying close to $100 for both. A few days later my nails are chipped. Of course I could go back and have it fixed, but I was so annoyed at how quickly they started to chip and crack that I didn't want to step foot in there again. The pedicure was mediocre. The balls of my feet felt untouched and it was as if I just paid for a polish change and not a full pedicure. It's a shame as the salon is located in a great area with plenty of parking. I would go elsewhere if you want a good gel manicure or pedicure. read more

My nails were in rough shape after months of too much grinding down at another salon to remove dip nail polish. Vee was gentle and made my nails look great for a wedding I was attending. I went back after the wedding and had my nail treatment soaked off so they can rest for a bit. My nails are usually very good. I also had a pedicure and this salon has great chairs they actually massage my entire back. They're the best I've found in the area. read more

Blush Nail is my go to nail salon for the past year now. I watched there FB posts (they post a lost of photos of their work) for quite some time before deciding to give them a try. They are in Oldsmar and I live in Citrus Park so I wanted to make sure it would be worth the drive. They have an entire staff of well-skilled technicians, are friendly and the salon is welcoming (not chaotic and loud like you find elsewhere). I am always pleased with the nail art designs they come up with as well - the techs are artists with their designs. I finally found a nail salon close to home that does it right! When I lived in St Pete I religiously got my mani and pedi every other week. Once I moved to Tampa, specifically Westchase all of that changed. I do a damn good pedi myself, so it pained me every time I tried a new place just to find someone buffing my nails, giving me a fake run and not giving me a smooth polish. My nail tech was named Cindy and she just stared 2 weeks ago, but I was impressed at her nipper skills. She asked me if it hurt and I said no, I'm just shocked I'm getting a real pedicure! She even gave a good foot massage! I got a mani too Nevis I was there with my daughter who needed both for homecoming. I let her know that I usually don't get manicure's anymore because it's a waste with natural nails. Washing my hands as much as I do (I'm a germaphobe) the polish is off in less than 2 days. I don't like getting gel because not only does it ruin your nail beds, but my nails grow so fast that within a week my nails grow out so much that it looks like a need a "fill." Cindy took that to heart and made sure to give me pointers on keeping my mani longer. She also monitored my time under the ultraviolet light. She wouldn't let me leave until she was sure my nails were dry. So the reason for the 5 stars on my first visit is I noticed how not only did my daughter and I get REAL mania and pedis, but so did everyone else. There was so much attention to detail at every station! It wasn't wham bam thank you ma'am like all the other nail shops along Tampa Rd/Hillsborough. The shop itself is small and not as posh as some of the other shops I've tried, but it also didn't smell of formaldehyde like some shops either. I don't care about all of her as long as the equipment is clean and the technicians one their craft. I'm so excited I finally have a place to get my nails done and it's pretty close to home! read more

I'm visiting my husband's family for the Thanksgiving weekend, and we are staying at the Hampton Inn nearby. I didn't have time before we left home (Miami) to get a gel mani/reg pedi, so last night I searched nail salons in the area, and saw that Blush got excellent reviews consistently. I went to the salon's website and found that I could book an appointment online--my kind of operation! When choosing my technician, I had seen that Cindy also got glowing reviews. So I booked my services with her. I was not disappointed! Cindy was friendly, politely inquisitive, and very competent in providing both services. I was impressed with the appearance and the cleanliness of the salon, and the friendliness of the entire staff. Cindy took one look at my callouses (they are awful!) and suggested the callous removal service for an extra $5, to which I immediately agreed. It was worth every penny! Enjoyed the foot and calf massage she gave me too. The gel manicure is awesome (see the photo accompanying this review)! Cindy did a nice job of trimming my cuticles (also awful) and for the one nail that has a bad split starting at the nail bed, she suggested that I try the dip manicure instead of the gel because it's not so hard on the nails. She also suggested applying coconut oil before doing the dip to help moisturize and condition the nail and cuticle. To add a little glamour, Cindy suggested adding a coat of glitter to both of my ring fingers. It's very subtle and I really like how it turned out! Overall, I was pleased with the excellent service I received. We visit my in laws at least once a year so I told Cindy I will be sure to come visit her whenever we are in town. The price for the gel manicure is $35, comparable to what I pay in Miami. The regular pedicure is $25, exactly the same as what I pay in Miami--and I have never been offered a "deep callous" treatment at the salon I go to in Miami. So my total bill for the entire service was $65. Very reasonable, in my opinion. read more

I use Vee and I'm quite spoiled and usually only go to her but it's not because others aren't good. I just got used to the way she does my Bio Seaweed nails. Vivian is also excellent. What really impresses me is the skill level and talent of most of the techs. I can show Vee a photo of nail designs and she pretty much nails it. Nails it! See what I did there? They are very popular, so make sure to make a reservation online first. I have been going to QT, who does an awesome dip manicure. She keeps the dip thin, so that it looks natural and lightweight - which most places don't take the time to do. Their prices are reasonable compared to other surrounding nail salons. My only suggestion is to add a wider color selection. read more

My previous nail salon was closed due to air conditioner failure. Found this location not very far from my house and walked in to get a fill, no appointment. Lee was my nail tech, vey personable and interacted with me. She verified product selection and nail shape preferences. I normally don't gravitate to colors, opting for a natural or nude look. She recommended a new fall color that is a pretty beige with an orange undertone which I actually really like as it matches a new lip color I am wearing lately. She actually shaped my nails much better than my previous tech/location. Salon was clean and seemed to have a clientele that regularly comes here for services. It was clean and pleasant, but expensive especially for a male that didn't require polish or anything extravagant. Melissa is AMAZING! She can do any design you ask for and is so sweet every time. I just moved to the area and tried 4 other nail salons until I finally found my new salon here! I'm very picky about the shape of my nails and I like really unique designs so it's hard to find someone that understands what I want, and Melissa does! She is so careful with drawing the most detailed designs, it's truly a work of art. She can be booked up sometimes so I'd suggest making an appointment at least a few days ahead of time, at least in my case, where i can only come at 6pm on weekdays. After moving from Atlanta, which had no shortage of excellent nail salons, I struggled to find my new go-to for manicures and pedicures in Tampa. I tried multiple salons from South Tampa up to Carrollwood, but didn't love any of them. I was thrilled when I found Blush! Not only do they offer SNS and Bioseaweed gel manicures, these ladies are perfectionists with their work and also a blast to hang out with. Everyone is super friendly and I'm always happy with the end results. I'm a little Plain Jane, but if you're into nail art, they're the best!
