I got Lasik from Gailey Eye Clinic in 2020. It went well. However, now I am working on getting into…read morethe military again and need my records from them in order to get back in. It is a time sensitive matter, and they refuse to email my records to the recruiter or myself. They will only allow traditional mail or pick-up (I now live in Florida). Even though there are no laws preventing email. Gailey Eye Clinic is more than decade behind the times with this. Given that you never know when you may need to get a copy of your records, I would recommend not using Gailey since if you need them in a timely manner, you'll be screwed. Though, at this particular location, the doctors are amazing and do really well professionally speaking, my rating is completely based off their outdated policies on obtaining medical records.

I got told they entered the axis for my astigmatism basically backwards. There's a pretty significant difference between 9 and 90. I tried to call the Peru office back to let them know the place where I ordered my glasses would not replace the lenses because it wasn't their fault. The Peru office didn't answer the phone so I called the office in Ottawa and explained the situation. She said she would let the manager in Bloomington know and they would get in touch with me. This is day two and they haven't reached out. I have over $400 out of pocket with insurance that I'm out. The eye doctor didn't even do my eye exam an optician did. I guess I'll talk to my attorney about my rights because at this point, I feel Gailey eye clinic needs to reimburse me. If I could change my review to zero stars I would. I will NEVER go to this establishment again. They've really gone down hill from what I remember years ago when I always went to Bloomington.

He was very argumentative and told me he does not like repeating himself when I was only having a conversation about my medications that he said I need to stop taking and that's the only treatment for my vision to "maybe" come back... we'll see in a month he said and told the nurse to show me the way out... I am absolutely at a loss for words in the way I was treated and yes I know now what I have wrong with my eye so apparently I don't get a F grade like the other specialist I wish I could put a negative star no one should leave a eye doctor upset and belittled
