The Wagners are very honest about timetables and costs. They are good about telling you what various options you have for parts, types of repairs, etc so you understand what the opportunity costs are with respect to time, money, convenience, and quality. They are also very responsive about looping customers in on communication with the insurance companies. I appreciated that the Wagners were willing to explain auto body 101 concepts to me -- they are humble and there is no talking down or condescension when repairs/car issues are being explained. On sort of a side note, by talking to Rob I learned a lot about car bodies and just generally got some bigger picture insight into car repairs, the insurance industry, and supply chain issues. The Wagners just come across as being very decent and thoughtful guys. And not least of all, the quality of the repair is fantastic. The car looks like new and feels new. Even though I live in the eastern part of the city of Pittsburgh and the Wagners are out in a northern suburb, I would make them my first choice for future big repairs. I had to have a smart windshield replaced in my Subaru Crosstrek and not only did they work around my ridiculous schedule multiple times, but gave me several repair options and explained everything they were doing. They had my windshield replaced sooner than they had promised, and even completely cleaned my horribly dirty car from top to bottom, inside and out, at no additional cost. Also, I had to have a rental car for 2 days during the process, and they drove me to Enterprise and also allowed me to leave my rental car at their shop when I came to pick up my Subaru, and they returned the car to enterprise. I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is. I have had Yelp since 2016 and had never taken the time to leave a review until I had this experience at Rob Wagner Auto body. Yikes. From the onset, Dante was extremely thorough and detailed with explaining exactly what he would be doing to my car, the types of products that he would be using, how long the service would likely take and how much the service would cost. The main reason for my appointment was to address the excessive and heavy staining on my seats and to clean out whatever other "surprises" my children managed to get under the seats in places that I can't easily access. Dante asked a bunch of questions regarding the types of stains that were on the seats and how long they had been there so that he was able to properly gauge how to treat the affected areas. And guess what - IT WORKED! And when I say it worked, I mean that I was actually surprised at how good the interior of my car looked when I went to pick it up. Not only were 95% of the stains on my beige seats gone, there were also probably about 3,000 long blonde dog hairs that were completely removed without a trace from the velcro-type material that lines by my trunk!! My 7 year old car basically looks brand new again inside. I truly didn't think that was possible given what it has been put through. To say that Dante does an amazing job would be an understatement. He is so nice but more importantly detail oriented - he was actually polishing and wiping my dashboard and passenger side windows as I was entering my car to leave! The possible packages were Exterior Only, Interior Only, Gold Standard, Executive, and Show Room. Prior to the drop-off, the SUV had fairly clean seats but a dirty dashboard, mats, etc. My husband thinks that he ordered the Executive package for roughly $300. The exterior was hand-washed and dried, and the interior was vacuumed and either wiped down or shampooed. The vehicle was ready for pickup on time. My husband told me that the vehicle now "looks great." I agree that the vehicle looks very clean.
