I miss the convenience of walking in for an appointment due to COVID, but just there today for contacts/glasses and staff was friendly and helpful. I have gone to this location many, many times since moving to this area in 1992. Dr. Loge and staff have been great for me. In and out in less than an hour with reasonable prices. Staff said they are getting ready for a remodel. It is much needed as it is looking a bit rundown. Ultimately, I just need to see well and not pay a fortune to do so and Eye-Mart fits the bill. read more

Eye Mart has the worst service I have ever encountered. I had my eye appointment in November 2020. It's now February 8th and I still do not have what I ordered. I have gone in 3 times to get my glasses and the prescription was wrong the first two times. I could not see at all. I went back for a third time this past week and picked them up - right prescription but they did not have the transition I ordered. Each time they got sent back had to wait 3 weeks. Now I have to wait another 3 weeks. I asked if they could just refund the transition part since it was not put into my glasses - told they do not do refunds. So they are on their way back to FL to be redone once again. No one there cares about customer service. Hopefully this next visit (3 weeks from now) I will get the correct lenses. IM OVER IT!!! Wish I could just go somewhere else, but I don't have the money to start over right now. Update: spoke to manager today. They ate giving me my glasses back and ordering new lenses. She also said I could get a 2nd pair of glasses free for my trouble. read more

I was fitted for contacts and ordered a year's supply through them. That particular brand did not fit my eyes as well as they should have so I decided to see if I could exchange what I ordered with a brand I was more familiar with. The doc told me that I had an astigmastism and therefore he would need to change my script so that I could get the lenses in the brand I had previously had success with. They were fine with exchanging the contacts for the new brand. So, I ordered 6 month's worth in the new brand and they promised overnite shipping so they would arrive sooner. After 4 days, I called and inquired when my order would arrive as promised and they said that it typically takes 7 to 10 days to arrive. I had to explain to them that I payed extra for the overnite shipping so they were promised to arrive sooner. They then replied that they did not know when my contacts would arrive... nixing the whole point of me paying 25 extra dollars for the overnite shipping. I was frustrated and kept the order, but decided to order the rest of my contacts through 1-800-contacts.com . No fine print when dealing with the online place. They told me that all I needed was a script approved by the eye doc and they would ship out the contacts that day. They verified my info and told me they had the contacts that I needed in stock. They just needed to call Eyemart and verify the info as far as the script. After holding on the phone with the online store while they called eyemart to verify my script, the rep returned to say that Eyemart said they did not have my script info in my file and that they would have to wait until the doc came in the next day. I hung up with the online store and called eyemart myself and they said they had my information and gave it to the online rep when he asked. I then asked them what my info was and wrote it down. I again, asked when my contacts that I ordered with them would be arriving and they said that they didn't know. I let them know that I felt I was due a refund of the cost of the overnite shipping price and they stated that would be at the mercy of the store manager. I thanked them (never lost my temper mind you) and called back the online store to complete my order. I really felt that Eyemart gave them the run around about me ordering my contacts online rather than through them. Eyemart does release it's contact scripts so that people can purchase them elsewhere. So my question is, why the runaround? Bottom Line.... This place is not a first rate place when considering ordering your contacts through them. They poorly communicate with one another there and when you do have an issue and you need to call back to follow-up with them, the office people make you relate the whole experience to them each time rather than make a note in my account after having talked to me. Nothing is more frustrating than having to repeat my entire negative experience to one person after another because they don't seem motivated to fix the problem. Years ago I had great experiences at eyemart, but within the last 3 years (since I got vision insurance) I've not had any good luck with them (2 stars for past experience instead of 1). Their bill always includes items that insurance won't cover, which never occurs with the new optometrist I see. Also, last year they gave my daughter glasses and insurance wouldn't pay for any of it because the prescription was too low. They didn't tell me this until they made the glasses and I had to pick them up and charged me full price for them. I fought with my daughter to wear them for a full year. Went to my new optometrist this year, she doesn't need a prescription, her vision is nearly perfect. read more

I'm not sure where the bad reviews came from but I have never had anything but great service with my families eye care. My two daughters and I have been going there regularly for probably 7 or 8 years and never had anything but great service. The staff have always been very helpful and explained buying options on glasses and contacts. I knew going in we would probably spend $200 to $300 on glasses or contacts with eye exam which is no different than any eye place you go. The doctors explained any changes in our eyes and half the time would tell us our current prescription was fine if we didn't want to buy any new glasses or contacts. My glasses were always ready the same day and they made sure they were properly fitted before leaving. I felt the need to post this review due to the dozen of great experiences we have had at this Eye-Mart location and only felt it fair to give them credit for the professional and positive service they have always provided to my family. read more

I went in to get new glasses. I was have trouble reading the eye chart at the doctors office when renewing my CDL physcial. I told the eye doctor this, and after doing the eye exam he said that my doctor didn't know what he was talking about. That I could see fine and didn't need my uppers changed but he would up my bifocals. My doctor had nothing to do with this, I'm the one that said I couldn't see the chart. Then when my wife when in to pick up my glasses, she tried to explain this to them again. Finally the girl she was talking to said (Just pack them up and go, I can't deal with this). read more
