update to review. went in to have glasses re assessed after being told, "we will make it right" told it would be another $90 to replace the lenses........brand new glasses that were not needed and then wanting more money to "make it right" avoid this business, they will rob you blind and they do not "make it right" as she continued to assure me. read more

Went in for exam and glasses took several days to get glasses subscription was not correct had to have redone took several more days frames are very cheap and weak took an additional two weeks to get sunglasses tint on 2 nd pair and script is still not correct I wou say stay away and they where expensive read more

Amazing service. I had a contact lense stuck in my left eye that was hurting like crazy and they took it out for me. I was in and out in less than 5 mimutes and they didn't charge me a penny, even though I wasn't one of their patients. Friendly employees. Only had to wait a few minutes for my exams to begin even though i was a walk-in. Large selection of glasses and lens option. When the doctor discovered i was a type II diabetic she made sure all appropriate tests were made available. I ordered my contacts over 2 weeks ago and they still aren't in! I was told they should be in next week, that's what they told me last week! When I went in to order my glasses on a different day, the staff was very rude! They were talking poorly about another costumer right in front of me! After making fun of the patient, one employee stated that she was over it. I asked if she was having a bad day and she was over it before she got there, and she continued to complain. The staff did not offer to assist me with picking out my frames. I have overall had a bad experience. I will on a positive note say the optometrist was very nice. read more

This place is amazing and their employees are even better! I walked in and was able to get an eye exam after waiting very little time which was free. I am picky when it comes to my glasses but they had a ton of options to choose from. I was able to pick out two different pairs as a part of their buy one get one free promotion. The lady who helped me was extremely nice and wanted to be sure I found exactly what I was looking for, even helping me search. The two pairs of glasses I ordered were ready in less than four hours from the time I ordered them which was extremely nice since I was from out of town. All of the employees working were incredibly nice and helped answer any questions I had. Overall this is the best place I have ever been to pick out glasses and will be returning here the next time I am ready for a new pair. I would highly recommend this place! read more

The eye exam was thorough but I felt invisible when it came to helping pick out frames.

We have been going here for several years and until today have always had great experiences. The girls up front are wonderful. Unfortunately they lost their main optometrist. Their new one is horrible. He was very rude and condescending to our son. We went in for his first fitting of contacts and due to the doctor we ended up leaveing with only a very disappointed child. When I called in to make the appointment I explained that our son was almost 10 and he would like to try contact. I was told that it would be no problem and the appointment was scheduled. When we arrived the new optometrist refused the appointment and proceed to be very condescending to our son. It is very disappointing to see a business suffer from one individual, but unfortunately he is the one individual you must deal with to get your prescription . We are sad to take our business elsewhere, but until they can find an optometrist that has the proper demeanor with children, we won't be back. read more

Alright so they had a deal going on for two pairs of glasses + an eye exam for $59. I went in and everything was fine. Sure the optometrist got a bit to close to my face (his hand was touching it) but hes old so oh well. Typically they take one day to get your glasses to you but their machine was broken so they had to send them out. Totally fine. After about five days I called to see when they thought they would be ready for me to come get them and they put me on hold. Ten minuets later a different woman came on the phone and asked what I needed. I waited another twenty minutes and they never returned to the phone. So being the passive aggressive person I can be, I called everyday until I was told when I would get them. In store they are great but don't even try to call these people. I've never had stellar experiences here( I've been 3 times), but the optometrist have always been nice and professional so I return. On my last visit, I saw a new and different doctor and he stressed the importance of having my eye pressures checked because of the history of glaucoma in my family. The tech or receptionist that did my pressures told the doctor she couldn't get them because I wouldn't sit still...I'm 24 and have been wearing glasses for 17 years....she never said once she didn't get the reading. When I tried again after my exam, she was rude and told me to wait until next time; that I'd be"fine."Okay strike one. My eyes had changed so when I got a new prescription of contacts and a new brand. The doc told me if I didn't like the brand to call in and try a trial of the other brand before I bought.... so I did that. Apparently there is new management and they couldn't give me a trial because of it. Okay no big deal but I needed to know other brands offered. The new "manager" gets on the phone and tells me she doesn't understand what I want and makes it clear things have "changed". I didn't think they could get worse but they did. Do not waste your time or money here. Two strikes was enough for me. read more

I took my grandson to get sports glasses about 1-1/2 years ago. We had a prescription from Riley so did not need an exam. It took about 3 months to get anything and it was not a complete order. I felt the help did not follow through for us. My grandson had a new prescription this year so we decided to use the frame that we had from EyeCare--we asked them to make the lenses and make sure there was a nose piece and back strap. After waiting at least 6 weeks, the glasses were in (they came in in 3 weeks but were wrong and had to be sent back)--I went to pick them up today--no nose piece or back strap and they do not know of any way to get either. I went to several optometrists and Sam's had the nose piece--no one had a strap. I phoned EyeCare this evening and said we have just wasted about 2 years of dealing with glasses from there along with the money that was spent. The lady said she found 2 straps that might work so I have to make another trip to see if they fit. I will never go back to them!!! No one was rude but they were definitely not problem solvers. read more

They were great. While they mostly a glasses business, the older doctor there did a great exam, found I had a retinal detachment and sent me elsewhere. He saved my eye!! After my surgery I got glasses there and they were perfect. read more

I went to get contacts for the first time and after my eye exam was told to wait in a room to the side. While I was waiting, they left the door cracked and I could actually hear the optometrist making fun of me to one of the girls up front about how I didn't know how to put in contacts. read more

BEWARE! EyeCare Express has a NO return policy. I've been unable to get a pair of glasses made to the ordered prescription and/or made so that I could see clearly through them. Unfortunately my glasses weren't ready the first day. When I did try them and said I couldn't see clearly I was assured I had to "get used to them." As a longtime wearer of glasses, this didn't seem right but gave it a try. Eyecare Express ended up having to remake my glasses and each time I was not able to see correctly from them. I'd even had the glasses independenly checked to make sure there wasn't something wrong with me (no, not me but the glasses). I tried not to be a difficult consumer. At their direction, I tilted my head this way and that. Held the paper varying distances and heights from my face. Pushed my glasses up, pulled them down. I was so frustrated I asked how many times did she think it was acceptable to remake my glasses before I didn't have to go through this anymore. . Her answer: as long as it takes. I'd paid over $200 dollars (not including frames), waited just short of a month, and do not live in town so it's a drive every time I have to go back. Of the four office staff I dealt with, two were rude and unprofessional. One of the two was the office manager, who embarrassed me and later refused my request for a name and number for someone else to speak with regarding my experience. I want to WARN everyone that EYECARE EXPRESS does not have refunds on their products.
