The most recent repair, there was a dispute about insurance payments (over $50 which we had already paid and insurance would not reimburse believing the shop had double-billed), and they refused to reasonably work with us and facilitate resolution with the insurance company. We gave up trying to get the $50 back and wrote a letter expressing our concerns to the shop and received no response. After we spent thousands of dollars there in the last year and have referred many people to the shop, they were willing to lose our business and future referrals over $50. They do good work but lack in customer service and communication.

This is NOT the same Don's Body Shop anymore. They replaced a front bumper and did not know how to…read morematch the paint. They said because the bumper is plastic and the car is metal, the colors will not match. They said that they used the original color that was originally used on the car. They also said that the car had been repaired before. Excuse after excuse for not doing it right. The colors did not match. Even the insurance adjuster said the colors did not match. After I pressed the issue and told them it was not acceptable as is. They agreed to repaint the bumper. Now the bumper matches the car. However, they would not pay for a rental car for the extra four days it took to make the bumper right. The receptionist is very friendly. However, Greg should not be in the customer service business. He would not admit that there was a mistake, never apologized for my inconvenience, and never even said thank you! It should have been right the first time. I told the receptionist that I was going to write a negative review about my experience and about how Greg was so rude, unprofessional, unwilling to make things right, never apologized, and never even thanked us. She said he is a character. I would have asked to speak with the manager, but, He Was Sitting In The Same Room and heard everything that was going on and Never offered to assist or speak with me!! I have used Don's in the past with much success. However, I will not be bringing them my business in the future and I cannot recommend them. There are many good choices of Body Shops in Rocky Mount, Stay away from Don's. (Insurance paid for the rental car for the initial work to the car. However, of course, they would not pay for the extra four days to repaint the bumper that was painted the wrong color by Don's. I believe Don's should have paid for the rental car as this was clearly their mistake) See pictures below of what they thought was a good job, and refused to make it right until I said it was unacceptable and refused the car until it was right. After a lot of back and forth, they never returned my calls, the car is finally fixed with matching paint. Note, that they Never called me to inform me of the progress of my repair or the lack of progress. I had to initiate every call. Even when my car was ready the second time, I called to see if it was ready since it was already the forth day of a 3-day repair. I was told that they are pulling it around right now. A Buick sedan that I have had for several years. On October 11, 2024 I turned on the rear window defroster for the first time after the installation, and within five minutes the rear window exploded. I had the glass replaced by Safelite Glass Repair; the technician said there was a short in the rear window defroster that caused the issue. The technician also told me to wait at least two weeks before getting the coating applied again. I contacted Ceramic Pro Wake Forest, and asked them if they would cover reapplying the coating under the warranty; the first response was this has never happen before and it must be because it was an older car. After several back and forth conversations they told me they would redo the rear window coating for their cost. By this time I was beginning to question their credibility, so I contacted another Ceramic Pro dealer. The price the other dealer gave me with out any explanation of what had occurred previously was the the same price Ceramic Pro Wake Forest gave me as their cost. You decide is there a correlation between the applying this coating and the rear window exploding; are their cost so much higher than other dealers, or was it just a line from them to try to placate me
