I was so embarrassed when we arrived because my little demon decided to take a number two right in the lobby. The staff didn't flinch and assured me they would take care of it. They checked us in just like they would do for me when I visit a spa and ushered him away for his grooming appointment. They called me a few hours later to say my boy was ready but I told them I wouldn't be able to get him until a couple of hours later. The agent said that was fine and I could get him anytime before closing. Mind you, I dropped him off before 10 am. So I'm basically getting free daycare along with the grooming fee. Which I also didn't pay for because I had a complimentary visit! I gave a nice tip when I picked him up and he rounded the corner with a glorious mane. I couldn't stop laughing because he was blown out to the GAWDS. Anyway, we will be back and I know it will be worth it.

We came here a year ago because of a hurricane evacuation. We're stationed down near Miami now, but have always called DC home, so when it was time to evacuate, there was no question on where we would head. I brought our dog Allie with us (wife took a flight out of Dulles to go see family), so I was looking for a place to put her for a day or two and get all her sillies out with some other dogs. This place was super accommodating to our situation, got her evaluated within a few minutes of the first day, and then took her for the day and absolutely wore her out! She had so much fun that when we came back the next day, she immediately started getting excited in the car when we drove into the location. Phenomenal staff who actually love dogs (not just the typical business owners that see a dollar sign over your pup) and will have fun with them all day long! For the reviews about scratches and sniffling...give me a break. This is a doggy day care...not the ER. It isn't meant to be perfectly sanitized, as I'm quite sure none of our dogs Purell their hands upon entry. If they have a scratch or two, it's because they were chasing dog butts all day and had a blast. If there are ever any issues, the staff will call right away and will section your dog off so they don't get hurt. If your dog got a scratch, they were probably having the time of their life. Calm down. If you want a solid dog boarding/daycare spot outside of DC filled with knowledgeable staff who care and will wear the pooch out for a day, this is definitely the spot to go to! The prices are more than reasonable and since it's indoors, it doesn't matter what weather will hit the area. Rain or shine, your pup will have a dog-gone good time with some of DC's finest 4-legged friends. I highly recommend them and we will most certainly be coming back over the holidays!!

They called us once the service was completed. This is where all the positive things about this service ends. Arya came home still wet. I wonder if they even did any deshedding, her fur was all over the place. Nails were cut and not properly trimmed, leaving the rough edges. Would not recommend this place for these services.

We had an appointment so when we came in for the first time we were expecting someone at the front…read moreto greet us. Nope no one around...we waited about 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk so we decided to walk around and look for someone. We found a tech who put us in a room and told us to wait there. After another 10 minutes the doctor comes in and tells us to put our information into the computer and that he'd be right back. I put all of our information in then the tech came back, only to use the computer I was on to take another call and wipe the information I just put in. After that she started asking me questions about my pet but was in someone else's account so it wasn't my pet. It was all just very unorganized and unprofessional. I don't think I'll ever be back.

We saw a small pup we wanted and called every day :" not yet processed for adoption". On the 4th day, it was " sorry -just someone walked in the morning 5 minutes after the pup was processed and took the pup". She forgot to mention that they are closed to the public in the morning! The Pup was never on their adoption page and the only reason I knew about the pup I wanted is because a kind volunteer told me discreetly, they just got in a very small dog who was still behind closed doors... This said the big dogs... lots of them.
