I was a little nervous with a spirited, almost 3-year-old and 8-month-old who was nearing bedtime. It's been so hard for me to find time to do anything after work so I was already stressed trying to plan the family around this narrow window of time. We were also playing by ear with rain consistently in the forecast, so I was nervous about the conditions. Amber communicated with me via text consistently so I knew where her mind was at and miraculously, the sun came out and did so radiantly! It was like a moment of heaven and I wish I could have stayed forever. Clearly, this wasn't her first rodeo! We started promptly and Amber was very productive with our time, guiding us with cues for poses, working in the moment with our little tornadoes, and making the most of our family dynamic. Going home, my hubby told me how happy he was that I arranged this for our fam and it was really validating because it meant to me, that he also felt at ease and happy with how our shoot went.
