They sent email and text reminders for my appointment, and they called me beforehand for details that I didn't share on my initial request. When I walked in, Merari was so sweet and warmly greeted me. She had me fill out several paperwork forms and asked if I wanted anything to drink. She brought out a glass of wine for me, and when I finished, she took me to the room where my facial would be. It was a pink room with soft lights and a warmed table with blankets. She had me change into a robe and put a headband around my forehead to push the hair back. Then, for the next 60 minutes I was pampered. She asked about my skin concerns, problems I wanted to fix, what I currently used, and small talk. I felt relaxed, at ease, and comfortable with her. She was gentle with my face and explained some of the products she was using. At the end, my face felt so good and cleared. I changed back into my clothes and walked out front. She explained what she used on me and offered different products to buy based on what I'm trying to fix with my skin. I picked out a Dermalogica exfoliant to help with brightening my face, and it was 20% off for the month of March. She booked my next appointment for me in 4 weeks, and she threw in samples to try as well. I had such a great visit and am looking forward to my next visit and regular visits to come!

The Deluxe includes a drink, an exfoliating scrub, lotion, and hot towel wrap. They also offer additional upgraded pedicures with extras like hot stones, but the Deluxe feels like a great value and is usually our choice. My technician was attentive and professional. I especially appreciated that he asked permission before using the callus remover rather than just assuming. He was friendly without being overly chatty, which was perfect because part of the reason for this outing was spending time catching up with family. The salon appeared clean and well maintained. They use disposable liners in the pedicure tubs, and overall it felt cleaner than many nail salons we've visited. One fun detail from the day: my husband picked his polish color first, and I ended up liking it enough to choose the same one. I wasn't expecting to leave with matching toes, but here we are! The only minor issue was that my polish application wasn't quite as smooth as I would have liked. It isn't noticeable unless I'm looking closely, but it did seem a bit thicker than ideal. The polish on the other members of our group looked perfectly smooth, so it may have simply been an isolated occurrence and I think the issue was the polish and not the nail tech.
