We've visited Ruby Nails multiple times over the years, but after another enjoyable experience, it felt like time to finally leave a review. This visit was a summer Monday morning outing with my sister-in-law, daughter, husband, and me. We stopped in without an appointment and were seated in less than five minutes. We've also visited on busier Saturdays with appointments and have had good experiences then as well. While our feet soaked, we were offered water, wine, or soda. It's a small touch, but one that always makes the experience feel a little more welcoming and relaxing. All four of us chose the Deluxe Pedicure ($36), which is only $6 more than the Classic ($30). The Deluxe includes a drink, an exfoliating scrub, lotion, and hot towel wrap. They also offer additional upgraded pedicures with extras like hot stones, but the Deluxe feels like a great value and is usually our choice. My technician was attentive and professional. I especially appreciated that he asked permission before using the callus remover rather than just assuming. He was friendly without being overly chatty, which was perfect because part of the reason for this outing was spending time catching up with family. The salon appeared clean and well maintained. They use disposable liners in the pedicure tubs, and overall it felt cleaner than many nail salons we've visited. One fun detail from the day: my husband picked his polish color first, and I ended up liking it enough to choose the same one. I wasn't expecting to leave with matching toes, but here we are! The only minor issue was that my polish application wasn't quite as smooth as I would have liked. It isn't noticeable unless I'm looking closely, but it did seem a bit thicker than ideal. The polish on the other members of our group looked perfectly smooth, so it may have simply been an isolated occurrence and I think the issue was the polish and not the nail tech. For three Deluxe pedicures, our total was $108 before tip. We never felt rushed, the services matched what was advertised on the menu, and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Consistently good service, short wait times, a clean environment, and a relaxing experience keep us coming back. We'll definitely return. read more

Such a fun and bright red for the holiday season. The chairs are so great because I can push it forward enough and do not need a pillow behind me to make up for my short legs. Th e massage chair is so great! My tech today was The Anh Chau. He uses a modified piece that your ankle sits in so he doesn't have to bend over so much and it helps me because he can really see what needs to be done on the bottom of one's feet way easier. Soothing music, a choice of 4 excellent massages for the pedicure. sanitary covers on the bowls, sterilized instruments, over the top massage chairs, and comfy nail salon chairs. We spoke about the country of Vietnam, and the issues her friends and family are having there with Covid 19. It is rough all over. Overall not a good experience, I picked this place based on the good Yelp reviews and I was completely disappointed. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. The gentlemen who did my nails mismatched my toes and fingers so they do not match. The entire experience was completely rushed, and overall not clean. No paper towels down on top of the manicure station, he used a cuticle clipper he borrowed from the women next to him to clip my cuticles, so it was not sanitized. He also only did two coats for my gel manicure, every other place I've gone to uses 3 coats. I'm exactly one week out from when I got my gel manicure and multiple nails have chipped. I go to this salon as it is right down the road from where I live. However, every time I go I always regret it. I asked for a manicure and gel Polish. I was not please with the manicure as my cuticles did not look clean and still look cracked. After just 4 days my nails and the Polish are cracking. I have been to this salon a few times to give them chance after chance and thinking maybe a different person will do a better job but it's apparent that their goal is to rush to get to the next customer. There were four of us all in dire need of a mani pedi- it was fairly busy for a Thursday afternoon, but we called a few minutes ahead and they were ready and happy to take us.
