It PAINS me to give them 1 star when I love the work. I have been coming here constantly since I moved to Yuba City almost 2 years ago but today I just didn't have good service. I always get my brow and top lip done and today the girl who did them did great! It was painless she has the perfect touch BUT The lady who helped me was talking the WHOLE time to a coworker and I don't mind but I do mind when she's not wearing a mask talking right over my face and we're human if you have a micro spit happen from saying a word - it's hitting me. She's stopped a few times to finish her statement and I was wondering what was happening. When I look at myself I did have 3 eyelashes on my face because her movements were kind of careless and I'm being hit in the nose multiple times with the string which can be controlled. When I pass back the mirror I said thank you and she didn't even look at me just continued looking at her coworker talking. It sucks I don't want to have to find a new place but the service today wasn't appropriate. read more

Came here with the hetero life partner upon my recommendation that she try a "Brow Bar" instead of the traditional waxing. She was reluctant, but agreed. We walked in, the only customers, and were greeted by a friendly young woman, who gestured my friend into a chair. BFF explained what she wanted and the young lady nodded and got to work very quickly. Within less than 10 minutes, they were done and my friend's brows looked awesome. I would recommend it to anyone. It's pretty cheap (like 7 bucks I think), clean, friendly staff, and they do a great job! It's kind of a weird concept, having some Indian lady with dental floss in her teeth rip your eyebrows out one hair at a time... but it works! They'll do your lady-stache too if you so desire. read more

Getting your eyebrows threaded here is SUPER CHEAP! Only $10, and two or three minutes in the chair and I was done! The lady was super great, and I told her that I was pretty nervous since I hadn't had my eyebrows threaded before and I was afraid that it would hurt, and she was really reassuring and I think she went easy on me! This is a great place but more importantly, they sanitize their hands before they start! Unfortunately, I had gone to Posh Accessories because--yes, I admit it--they were cheap. But I noticed that I kept getting these red, itchy bumps on face. It happened recently (never really had a problem before) but then I noticed that the lady never sanitized her hands because she had so many customers arrive back to back. Well, that did it for me. So now this place is my go-to thread salon. The ladies are wonderful and they always do an excellent job--more importantly, no itchy red bumps! Depending on when you arrive, there could be a lot of people ahead of you and the wait times can exceed 15-20 minutes. Other than that, they do an excellent job! read more

I went in with my cousin last week and the girl who did my cousin's eyebrows completely ruined them. She looked like she was barely learning the technique; she didn't look confident with the thread. My cousin felt that she was threading too much, so when she asked to look at a mirror she noticed a big chunk of her eyebrow missing! The girl had threaded way more than she should've and left my cousin almost in tears! We obviously won't be going back! read more

Went in on a Saturday with a friend to get a eyebrow threading and had to wait about 15-20 to get in a chair. Which I understand it's a Saturday and it's busy but you have three chairs and only two people working on a very busy Saturday. The wait wasn't a big deal to us really, the big deal was that an eyebrow threading (which has only ever taken me 15 minutes tops to get in and out of any other threading place) took 45 MINUTES. Maybe the women doing my threading was new then I could understand it taking her longer and really focusing. But seriously the whole process from stepping in to leaving took about an hour. I had only asked her for a touch up on my brows, not a reshaping but somehow she couldn't follow the shape that my brow was already in? First she threaded them completely flat, no arch at all. Then when I asked her to fix them and give me an arch she only threaded my tails into oblivion. Second time I asked her to fix them she squared off the corners. When I finally pointed to exactly where my arch needed to be and how much needed to go she seemed like she was trying to hit that spot but couldn't, she was threading the tails again. Throughout this whole thing she had to call over the other women working about three times to consult with her about my brows. Maybe this women just hated me for some reason and really didn't want my brows to look good? I don't know but I'm very unhappy with the entire experience and won't be going back read more

The atmosphere is friendly. The manager is knowledgeable and courteous. She listens to what the clients have to say while at the same offering her expertise. I recommend this shop to anyone interested in eybrow threading! :) read more
