Waited at the entrance for 15 minutes waiting for a customer to finish. The man who was servicing was the only one present at the location. I patiently wait for my turn, then this lady behind me falls in line behind me.. totally normal. The worst part about this is the man didn't even acknowledge me when I was waiting, then took in the Indian lady behind me and spoke Hindi as if I wasn't there or next. I asked if she had an appointment and he said no. So I politely I asked if I could go first because I was there first anyways and I called in before hand to double check if I needed an appointment or if I could just walk in. I don't know if this guys is unintentionally racist, or just terrible at running his business but I highly do not recommend this place. They really do a terrible job with customer service, and the employee working today Wednesday (3/09/21) is an asshole. I've been to multiple places and usually the case is simple. You wait your turn and get your service done. In this business case I just hope they get their shit together because I don't care if I'm not Indian.. service the NEXT person in line. read more

I was at Valley Fair Mall, went to Eyebrow Plus and visited Patty a few months ago right after she started there. I did the full face threading and eyebrow tint, she did an amazing job. I'm so impressed by her skills. She is quick and fun and will get the job done girls/guys. Also, she gives you 100% of her attention and personal touch. Went here last night. I had face threading done. The skin surrounding eyebrows was super red even though all I had done was light cleaning on brows. My eyebrows nor the rest of my face looked clean like I normally notice after getting threading done. The threader seemed inexperienced and just had gross hygiene (especially noticeable when their face is unusually so close the entire time). The threading itself was super harsh and sloppy. I get threading done every two weeks and this was by far the worst experience, def regret going here. read more

Came here in dire need of a haircut in the San Jose area. Called to asked about appointments and they said appointments only on weekends but were willing to see us in two hours... ? Okay haha. Waited a few minutes before Samira (I think that was her name) approached us and asked for what we wanted. She made suggestions but wasn't too pushy like other hairdressers. Took her time and left our hair looking great! Prices for haircut ranges from $20-60 depending on what you want and she gave us a discount when we finished. We will be coming back! read more

The staff was so excited to show us the new place and inform us of all the newly added services. I waited for weeks until they opened up again as I only trust Subarna with my eyebrows. I usually go to the one in my home town in tracy but since I was in San jose I decided to come by before heading home to get my eyebrows done. From walking in to waiting it was pretty fast. Once I sat down and got my eyebrows done the lady who did mine was pretty frikn fast like I was done within minutes I was pretty shocked with the service on how quickly she finished the whole time she kept insiting me to buy a card when she told me she was done I checked my eyebrows out to see and from the lighting they have in there place was not bright but I took a chance and told her thank you. When paying I have her a $5 tip. But when I got home that's another story. Really disappointed that she really didn't clean my eyebrows up she didn't attend me like I get attended at the place I go to in my hometown I was upset because I had to clean my eyebrows up so to me that was a waste of my time and money. I had a similar experience to Julian (from previous review). Just overall not a good service. I went in to get henna done, which was at best mediocre, and I didn't have interest in getting my eyebrows done. I was basically forced into getting my eyebrows done by being told repeatedly that it was "time to get threaded." I told the lady that I don't even do threading because it's too painful for me but she insisted that I had to do threading and that waxing wouldn't be good for me. It was honestly terrifying how forceful she was, and I didn't even feel like I had a choice. On top of that, my eyebrows barely looked any different afterwards and I was charged $15 for it. I think the way she was behaving was as if we were in India/Pakistan (they're very forceful to get their way in these countries, I know since I have that background) but I was born and raised in America so it was very uncomfortable and almost violating to be treated like this. Do not recommend. P.S. this all happened after I waited 15 or so minutes to even get any service, left the store and came back because of the wait time and even then had to wait extra. read more

I've been Patty's client for 6 years now so when I went into Valleyfair looking for her at their old location and found a sign saying they moved to a different one, I left immediately to go straight there with no hesitation. Yes, she's THAT good!! All of the staff are in fact! The new location is at 3581 Stevens Creek Blvd. and it's BEAUTIFUL. Once you walk in you'll notice it's super clean and spacious with a beautiful waiting area, great bathrooms, and a whole separate space to get your massages, facials, waxes, and henna done! They even have a little section with fresh drinks and snacks for us too!! The parking space for their customers is another plus as well and if & when it gets packed there's usually street parking on the side that's almost always available! 10/10 definitely recommend read more

I hadn't done anything beauty related since before covid started not counting a haircut. I was debating doing something about my eyebrows for a while now. I happened to walk out of the Macy's brow bar after deciding it was to expensive. I saw this place, and was looking at the prices through the window, when Pragma/ Patty came out and explained the pricing: 15 for threading and gave me 35 for the tint. Apparently the tint price ranges from 35-42. She made exception for the first time because I was concerned about the prices. I'm pinching pennies because covid related money problems, so this really made a difference for me. We ended having surprisingly fun conversation about how different age groups and cultures like have different preferences on eyebrow thickness and darkness. And how normally its best start out lighter because you can't go back when its super dark. Pragma impressed me with her thoughtfulness and attentiveness to the subjective nature of beauty preferences. I'll definitely be coming back. I loved the thickness and tint color I got. Ive been doing business with Eyebrow plus for 7 years. They have a great new Eyebrow stylist-Patty. Patty also is now trained in micro blading. Patty goes out of her way to listen to her clients and she makes you look and feel beautiful. I was in a few weeks ago to get my hair cut and unfortunately the schedule had been double booked and i was unable to get my hair cut. Highest level of customer service, and when helping other customers I noticed she was doing eyebrow and lash tint on other customers. She offered me the service and did an amazing job. Let me start this review off by saying that I had a very bad experience at this place not too long ago. I brought my girlfriend here and I felt rushed , unwelcome , and my girlfriend left unsatisfied with the job that was done in her eyebrows. Fast forward to this week , we were in the mall and decided to give this place another chance and let me tell you ... TOTALLY different experience. Let me start off by saying that Patty was a STAR! From the moment we walked in she made us feel welcome. She took her time on my girlfriend's eyebrows and EXPLAINED each service in a great level of detail . I even felt comfortable enough to get my own eyebrows taken care of which I NEVER do. Patty was kind, general , and patient. After the service was done I NEVER felt pressured to tip (totally different experience from last time) , but I did since she did such a wonderful job. Where was Patty during our last visit ? I'm not sure , but if I could leave one piece of advice for management it would be to make sure that she is working!
