Only a couple cars were in sight. This was important. I had no plan to walk into an eyebrow shop facing stares by waiting ladies. I walked in and no one was there but the owner. I asked if she could thin my brow a bit. She said "I do mens brows all the time". True or false, I felt more comfy. I told her "I don't want lady brows"! She chuckled and said "No problem". She locked the front door and escorted me back to an adjoining room with a long face up lounger. I laid on the lounger and she commenced her craft, taking thread and weaving it around and within my brows. Pluck, pluck, pluck! It's not like a facial or massage. Every pluck is like a bee sting! On the positive side it only took about 4-5 minutes. She finished and passed me a mirror for self inspection of the work. Much better, but I asked her to revisit a few graying hairs. She kindly complied. She followed up with a quick solution for the subtle stinging sensation and sent me on my way. That's about the least expensive service a guy will find these days. $12 plus gratuity was the toll. This was a 5 star visit. Don't tell my golf buddies!

When it was my turn, I explained what I wanted and she quickly shaped them up. The result....perfect eyebrows--ahhhhh!!! I was relieved and elated! The price isn't bad either--$12. One complaint--I wish she would wipe off the chair--at least the head rest between clients.

Samara's response was unexpectedly aggressive and confrontational. She repeatedly told me I should have known about the 24-hour policy because I had previously called in sick and rescheduled. I genuinely did not know. I wasn't trying to skip an appointment--I had already prepaid and was actively rebooking. I even asked her to simply put me back on the original appointment rather than charge me. She refused. Unfortunately, the way that interaction was handled has made me deeply uncomfortable returning. Brazilian waxing is an intimate service, and I do not feel comfortable walking into a studio knowing I may have to interact with someone after an experience like that. I have tried extensively to resolve this privately: FOUR written contacts to the studio, countless phone calls, and repeated requests for management assistance. The manager has left me one voicemail, but I have still not had a meaningful resolution. When I call, Samara continues to answer. I have 11 Brazilian sessions and 1 lower-leg session remaining--$604.50 in prorated unused prepaid services. At this point, I'm not asking to continue receiving services. I am asking the studio to refund the $604.50 I prepaid for services I no longer feel comfortable receiving here. I have now contacted EWC Corporate and filed complaints with both the BBB and South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs because I don't know what else to do to get someone to meaningfully address this. I'm not confrontational and have genuinely tried to handle this calmly and privately. I just want my unused prepaid money returned so I can move on. I will update this review if the studio resolves the situation.

She took the time to explain everything to me, including how I would be positioned and how their prenatal setup is designed to keep both mom and baby comfortable and safe. They have a specific inclined chair with a little belly indentation, which made me feel so much more at ease. And the massage itself was AMAZING. Her pressure was absolutely perfect not too much, but exactly what I needed. I walked out feeling so much looser and less tight, especially through my neck, back, and hips.
