I've never been in an eyebrow shop. That is until last Friday. Brows were getting a bit unruly and I was fed up with doing the "scissors in the mirror" cut every three days, hoping not to puncture my eye out! Drove into the parking area. Only a couple cars were in sight. This was important. I had no plan to walk into an eyebrow shop facing stares by waiting ladies. I walked in and no one was there but the owner. I asked if she could thin my brow a bit. She said "I do mens brows all the time". True or false, I felt more comfy. I told her "I don't want lady brows"! She chuckled and said "No problem". She locked the front door and escorted me back to an adjoining room with a long face up lounger. I laid on the lounger and she commenced her craft, taking thread and weaving it around and within my brows. Pluck, pluck, pluck! It's not like a facial or massage. Every pluck is like a bee sting! On the positive side it only took about 4-5 minutes. She finished and passed me a mirror for self inspection of the work. Much better, but I asked her to revisit a few graying hairs. She kindly complied. She followed up with a quick solution for the subtle stinging sensation and sent me on my way. That's about the least expensive service a guy will find these days. $12 plus gratuity was the toll. This was a 5 star visit. Don't tell my golf buddies! read more

I was traveling and in desperate need of threading. Of course I used Yelp to find a spot. Based on the reviews, this place seemed like the best option. There was only one lady working--I'm not sure if she's usually the only one. I walked in at the perfect time because there were only 2 people waiting. About 4 more people came in after me. There's no sign in sheet--she just remembers the order of everyone waiting. The waiting area consists of a mixture of chairs and couches. There are also racks of clothing and handbags. When it was my turn, I explained what I wanted and she quickly shaped them up. The result....perfect eyebrows--ahhhhh!!! I was relieved and elated! The price isn't bad either--$12. One complaint--I wish she would wipe off the chair--at least the head rest between clients. read more

One of the few places in Greenville that does threading and I will only ever thread my eyebrows. I stopped by and was in and out within 5-10 minutes with very cleaned up eyebrows. All together was $17 which is pricier than what I used to get but I'm not mad about it. (The place I used to go to back home was $8 for upper lip + eyebrows.) read more

Very friendly & listen to her customers. Next visit there was this girl before me getting her eyebrows tinted. When it was my turn she ask me if I wanted to try it. Fantastic work coupled with odd hours and poor customer service. I've been coming for a while now and love the results but recently experienced having to wait while I could hear the technician on her phone asking me to wait in the back room. I waited for about 10 min in the empty room and decided to leave. With stronger customer service this place would've easily kept me as a long term customer. read more

She is only open 3 days a week ,pay no attention to days and times on website or yelp. I have been there 4 times and every time I have waited at least an hour or more and ONLY on my last visit after sitting inside 30 minutes with 8 people ahead of me she hands out masks to put on while you sit and wait in a smelly dirty storefront! My second visit she was 30 minutes late from opening time of 11am, 10 people waiting in line outside. I would NOT recommend this place. read more

Long story short, I moved to Greenville, SC 5 months ago from NYC . Back in March, I went to another eyebrow threading place in Haywood mall because my cousin highly recommended it because it is where she does her eyebrows. Me and my cousin have natural thick/full brows so since my cousin never had a bad experience I figured, why not? Personally, I am loyal to one woman back in NYC who does my brows so I was a bit nervous with trying someone new since I had a bad experience before with trying a new shop. They say eyebrows are sisters not twins. But once the lady did my right eyebrow I clearly noticed my eyebrows were no longer related. I walked out the place w a thin and a thick eyebrow. I was so upset one of the workers offered a free threading.... FOR MY NEXT VISIT! I'm sorry but for experiencing that, there will never be a second visit. I will travel the 784 miles back to NYC to see my eyebrow lady before I ever step foot in that mall. Now ever since that experience, I grew my right eyebrow back and just kept it old school and plucked my eyebrows to not connect to one. After 5 months of tweezing and experimenting with microwave wax, I came to yelp and google to desperately find a new eyebrow threader. Luckily I came across Charming and went the next day. Look at the before and afters to see the miracle that has happened! I highly recommend this place, especially for people like me who are scared to try new things. I was not sure what to expect at first, but the ladies at this place are sweet and guide you through the process. If you have never tried threading before, it is not really that painful, more like a series of little pinches. It truly is not that bad at all. The ladies here are very skilled at threading. Honestly, the process hurt a lot less than I had expected and is super fast! In less than 10 minutes you will have perfectly shaped brows with results lasting anywhere from 2-6 weeks.
