I was "squeezed" in the next day for a contact fitting after calling inquiring the status of my contacts after not hearing from myeyedr. I ended up having to wait an hour to see the doctor to check my contacts when all I needed was a fitting to order a new supply. It didn't seem like there was an actual appointment scheduled for how long I had to wait. I would've rather had scheduled an actual appointment so I could get out in a timely manner. update: I received an email saying my contacts were available for pick up February 3rd (I'm not sure why I had to pick up my contacts when my fiancé received his in the mail last month) and then the office called me February 6th asking if I was ever going to come in to pick up my contacts that delivered in JANUARY. The person who contacted me didn't need to be so rude and blunt.

Dr. Powelson gives you the feeling that he truly loves his profession and wants the best outcomes for his patients. I ended up choosing to have PRK at TLC in Pittsburgh, and my aftercare was transferred back to Dr. Powelson. My surgery was on a Friday and I needed to be seen the following day. Dr. Powelson actually came into the office on Saturday just to do my post op checkup! I would recommend Dr. Powelson to everyone! Five stars are hardly enough to represent their service and the wonderful staff!
