The owner and the young lady (who was an apprentice at the time) were talking about my eyes and lashes as if it were science. I was pleased to hear such a conversation bc they really knew their sh*t. Anyway, after my lash break (i have fine hair so i have to take breaks) they were booked so i went somewhere else. After this other place gave me the worst set, i came here abruptly to get new lashes bc i knew they could get it right. WRONG. I don't know who homegirl was but she didn't even ask me what look i wanted or what I was going for or to see a photo. She said "lets get started" i said "no i have photos to show you" I showed her a photo of the lashes i just had and HATED (super curly D's ) and I showed her what i wanted (pretty flat lash with a slight curl). She gave me a CC.. which was still too curly.. , IDk, maybe I'm really hard to understand when i say "i do not want a super curly lash", so I asked her to take them out. I was disappointed but not pressed or mad. During this process.. she got the remover in my eye and it BURNED LIKE HELL, she had to guide me to the utility closet to rinse my eyes bc I couldn't make it to the bathroom. On top of this ... they still made me pay. Pretty ballsy for a company with no terms or return policy. Bc we all know as under California law, merchants are required to clearly post their refund policy unless they offer full cash refund, exchange, or store credit within seven days of the purchase date. Failing this requirement, customers may return goods for a full refund within 30 days of the purchase. But suing isn't my thing, especially for minority owned business. Word of mouth and karma will suffice. So my last experience with them will be just that, MY LAST EXPERIENCE.

I had the worst experience here last night and I debated about coming on here to write about it…read more But, I feel it's necessary as there are a lot of 5 star reviews on here and I definitely did not have a 5-star experience. I bought a Groupon for a full set of faux mink lashes and set up an appointment via the online system. That was easy enough. I get here and the suite number is not what it's supposed to be. Then I get into the actual suite and Mercedes greets me, but not in a super friendly manner. I told her what I wanted, something natural but with some dramatic flair and even showed her photos of what I wanted. She assured me it would look great and actually even better than the photo that I showed her. We proceeded to start and she commented on how short my lashes were to which I replied, "Yes, I know. That's why I'm getting extensions." Then, she was like I have to put tape on your lower lashes because they are so short and the pad won't work. I'm like cool, whatever works. She said she would use the "mink" lashes that she showed me which seemed fine, and we started the process. She kept trying to upsell me on buying a $75 upgrade to make my lashes pop. I'm like nah, that's fine, let's just see how these look. Why the F would I need to upgrade $75 when I purchased a full set? Like, seriously? Anyway, she applied the lashes and kept saying over and over HOW SHORT MY LASHES WERE. It's like I know lady, but you don't need to be rude and keep commenting on them like it's the worst thing in the world. Also, she kept sighing and seemed to be exasperated. I asked her if she had a long day and she was just like yeah. Okay great! I get it, you're tired, but you have a customer and you shouldn't be acting like you're doing her a favor when she paid money and is spending time here to enjoy your services. An hour later we were done and she gave me the mirror so I could inspect them. They were crooked and not even all the way across my lash line. I asked her to fix the right side and she said, "Yeah, let me see if I can find some lashes to stick them on." Wow. Okay, way to make someone feel great about themselves. She added a couple more lashes, and they looked better, but still looked weird and just uneven and she seemed impatient to go home, so I was like F it, maybe they will get better in time. I gave her a tip and then went on my way. I get home and the lashes started falling off and irritating my eyes to the point where my eyes are burning. Not to mention, the lashes themselves are SUPER HARD and plastic feeling, like definitely NOT MINK. I was so pissed at how terrible they looked that I spent 45 minutes removing them. It was a painful process and I ended up losing my real lashes and now look like a damn alien. But, they look better without the clumpy looking fake ass lashes she put on. Never again will I go back there. Save yourself the money and time and avoid. I'm going to get my money back from Groupon. What a disaster.

When you enter its a quiet and empty lobby. Suite 103 is right at the entrance, I knocked several times, no answer. I called, no response. I waited 10min and kept knocking until finally another lady told me that it was actually upstairs in suite 200. I was so worried because now I was 10min late but when I entered she was still working on someone so I started my 12:15pm appt at 12:40pm. First impression wasnt great but since the place was so nice, I still was positive. She asked if I ever had lashes which I did, Ive been getting lashes for 3yrs now at Peniel Lashes (Amazing btw) but they moved downtown which is kinda far for me. I showed her how I normally get it which is a natural look with a wing corner. She emphasized how barely visible it looked and that hers will make me look like I already have mascara on. She explained that it would be slightly more dramatic but still natural and I was looking forward to a more dramatic look. But it turns out that hers look wayyyy less noticeable, she didnt add enough lashes and the worst part is several lashes fell off after just a few hours! It looks sloppy in my opinion and from now on Ill just make the trek downtown because I didnt think this was worth the price. Maybe its because I used a Groupon she didnt give me the royal treatment. I dont know but I wont be going back...super bummed!
