Use them to flirt your way into clubs. Pretend you're a long-lost Kardashian. Bat dem pretties for a free drink. These puppies will pay for themselves in no time. They last about 3-4 weeks, and you can get cheaper fill-ins to keep them fresh. The lashes take a little care-- not rubbing your eyes, not getting them wet for 24 hours, not smushing them in your sleep. But it's totally worth it to wake up batty-eyed and beautiful-- no mascara needed. If you haven't tried them yet, do it! Carolina has the best prices around-- I paid $150 for a full set. Caro is amazing- and her quality and technique are BY FAR the best of the 5-6 different providers I've tried. She is even better then my friend and I expected - we had lashes done for over 4 years and our standards are high. I've had eyelash extensions put on now for over two years. I use to live in Las Vegas and went to the same girl whom I loved. I just moved to Miami Beach and was in search of a new girl to do my lashes. I research everything and am very particular, especially when it comes to my face and hair etc. I found several places, all very expensive and with so so reviews. In Vegas, the prices for eyelash extensions was very competitive because of the sheer size of the entertainment industry. Average price to get lash extensions ranged from $120-$175 (for synthetic or silk) and $250-$300 (for all Mink). You could also find a Groupon and get them for under $100. Fills were generally every 3-5 weeks (if you took good care of them) and the average cost was $50-$75. So you can imagine my surprise when I started researching it here in Miami. Everyone was ranging around $300-$600 for a new set (synthetic) and $125-$200 for a fill. This is even more expensive than New York, where you can get them (good quality service) for $175! I was crushed until I found Carolina. She was very sweet and friendly on the phone. She answered all my questions and was very responsive. I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly (as she was willing to squeeze me in). Her apartment was comfortable and I felt very relaxed. I still had a few lashes left on from my last girl and she was able to work with what I had. It took about 1 1/2 hours for her to do them. I was very happy with the results. My lashes looked fabulous! My husband loved them and thought they were as beautiful as what I had in Vegas, if not better. The best part, she was the same price as my girl in Vegas! Bottom line ladies, if you are paying more than $175-$200 to have them put on and more than $75 for a fill, you are paying too much, unless you are having all Mink lashes which are thinner and very time consuming to put on. Although mink lashes look more natural, in my opinion, I still felt like I needed mascara to make them pop. Carolina is very good and she takes her time to make sure you are completely satisfied. If you are thinking about getting your lashes done, you should give her a call. You will very happy you did and so will your wallet (and/or husband)! read more
