Eyemart Express Date: 04/22/2026 Rating: 5/5 I had just moved to Oklahoma from Texas only 5 days prior when I was in a horrible T-bone accident on April 22 on my way home from work that rolled my car upside down. This crash destroyed the only vehicle my family of four had, including my two girls under 2. Life has already been tough enough lately, and this was a devastating blow. My glasses were completely destroyed in the wreck too. This amazing Eyemart Express location helped me right away even though I wasn't even a customer. The gentleman who assisted me was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He fixed my glasses on the spot at zero cost to me and my family, and took the time to explain that buffing scratched lenses is basically a myth -- because the thickness and curve are part of the actual prescription, any attempt to "de-scratch" them would ruin the RX completely. This is exactly what humanity should be about -- helping our fellow man with no expectation of anything in return, especially a family that had just moved to a new state and was already struggling. Eyemart truly saved me in a great way that day and restored a little hope when we needed it most. Thank you so much to the whole team! I'll definitely be coming back as a customer. Worst customer service I have experienced in my 65 years on this earth! They did not place my order for replacement glasses and then called back 3 weeks later to check on them they said the order was never placed. When they did and I got a notice to pick them up with only 2 customers and me being the third told me to wait by 2 staff members one being a male that has been there every time I have been in the store and a female. Ater they told me for the second time someone would be with me in a moment, I told them to keep the glasses and gave them my name and left. I will not refer them or will I return to give them any more business. Maybe some people can be fooled into their cheap glasses and sorry customer service but not me anymore. read more

This place is awesome they will help you with your insurance and get everything set up for you, you can try on in store they'll go over all the prices with you in a polite and patient way and then whatever you choose will be ready in about an hour after you pay. I was told they do not have replacements I would need to call the company. Just because it says walk-ins welcome doesn't mean the businesses will see you. It's a 50-50 chance on whether or not you'll even get in. Ignore the walking welcome sign and call for an appointment. The walk-in welcome sign is miss leading. read more

I have been getting glasses for my kids for the past 7-8 years and I have used the same eye doctor as well but this time they refused to make my daughters glasses because of the wording on the script. Funny thing is the same wording was on my other daughter's script the week before and they took it with no problem. I ended up going to the Eyemart on the south side and got my daughter's glasses finally!! I will never use this location again!!! read more

*Story time first. Scroll down for the bare bones.* (**) Look, it's my fault for not having a pair of back-up glasses when I've been seeing impaired since I was 14 or 15. SOMEONE, not naming names here (Jeff), mangled my only pair of glasses the other day and my prescription is no joke. So the past couple of days have been sad and blurry. I normally order my glasses online since it's cheaper and I don't have to go outside. But I don't have 2-3 weeks to wait for eyesight, so I bit the bullet and went to a brick and mortar store. I had my reservations about what was about to happen, that's for sure. I buy online because I'm pretty unwilling to spend more than $60 on a pair of glasses (including the bells and whistles stuff), and in my experience and through hear-say, most glasses with all the fixins go well over $100. I also happen to have pretty blasé vision insurance that may only cover eye exams, so that makes it even more exciting! Upon entering, there were a handful of customers and there was about a 30-40 year (or more) age gap between me and all of them. I'm willing to say that's because it was like 10am on a Tuesday and most people my age are probably working or something.This doesn't have anything to do with the business itself. It's just something that stuck with me and I thought it was funny. Anyway. **There's a sign-in sheet on the desk toward the right, so get on that. If you're not the only one in the store, they need to keep track of you, ya know. Sign-in, look around at frames to maximize your time. It'd be kind of dumb to sign-in then sit down and wait for them to show you around or something. The woman who help me was nice and informative. I already had the frames I wanted picked out, so that was easy. ***Only useful if you haven't bought glasses in a long time or use the internet like me. What wasn't so easy was the fact that I had no idea I needed a signed prescription from my optometrist to give to these people. Remember that whole buying online thing? Yeah. So I was clueless. It was an easy enough fix by just calling my eye lady and having them fax over my official prescription. I was quoted (by the Eyemart employee) the possibility of 2 hours for the fax to come through if the optometrist's office was busy. Just as she said that, the fax came through because I guess my eye lady is awesome.*** If you're already prepared with your prescription ready, the whole process is quick and easy. After showing her which frames I wanted, I sat down with her and we went through the list of doo-dads that can be added on. After all was said and done, I got two of the same frames (one clear and one for sunglasses) with the standard anti-reflective and scratch resistant coating. After all was said and done, it took the two hours (or less, I can't remember) quoted to me and $160 (my soul) and I had 2 new pairs of glasses. read more

Rushed in an hour before closing desperately needing glasses after my daughter lost hers at an amusement park. She was leaving for camp early the next morning and we had no other options. Lawrenda was really friendly and helpful while we picked out frames. Unfortunately, my daughter has a complicated prescription and there was no way the glasses could be made before the store closed. The general manager, Coy, went above and beyond to make sure the glasses were finished for us to pickup 30 minutes before the official store opening the next morning. Please invest in a receptionist who can take care of things such as pick up or drop off. When my wife or I have to pick up or drop off glasses we have to experience waits of 30+ minutes. I should not have to plan almost an hour out of my day to pick up glasses every time I come to this store. read more

I have two boys that are very rough with there glasses and we come here ALOT getting them "fixed" as well as eye-mart employes can get them lol. When we do have to get another pair of glasses they have great prices for good glasses and a good selection for kids and well as adults. But the only draw back to this place would be that there is umm I'm thinking he's the store manager and older guy that works there ummm his people skills needs work his all business and not very friendly but he does get the job that you have done quickly tho so we keep coming back, Great place to go for glasses people like my family and I. read more

The best customer service I have ever experienced was at this store on Penn, store 39 and trust me I have stopped by most eyeware stores in the state of Oklahoma. Miss Amanda was the one who helped me pick a pair of frames and she is amazing at what she does, she knows her stuff. All the employees there were super friendly, inviting, exceptional professionals and made everything very comfortable and easy. They got it all ready in around ten minutes. As soon as my daughter and I walked in we were greeted by Coy with a friendly smile. We told him what we were looking for and he walked us over to the area we needed to be in and also showed us the frames that were in the price range we were looking at. He could tell that we need some time and he gave us our space to look at all the pairs we wanted to checking in on us every once which was very pleasant not to be hounded and yet still felt very important. Once we found the frames we wanted the check out process was painless and quick. After they were done we received our texts, and came back to the store again greeted immediately with a smile. My husband and I both took our prescriptions to Eyemart because we thought they may have a better selection and their "two complete pairs" and "same day service". Neither one of these "applied" to us. Wonder how often that happens. Our glasses were going to take 4-5 days because of the Holiday's. They did notify us when they were ready and we drove an hour to pick the up. My husband's glasses were perfect but he also ordered seperate sunglasses and these frames had no tinted lense in them. So they said they would have to send them back. Meanwhile I am not able to see with my glasses. I have worn no-line bi-focals for over a year so have gotten use to them but I told them that I was seeing shadows around things with the new glasses and was not able to read clearly. They told me" it was probably because I had been wearing my old glasses that day and that I should start out fresh the next day". I did as instructed and again same issue. I took them back to eye mart express and explained this again and by the way the girl was talking to me I felt that she was doubting what I was telling her and when I lifted my glasses up off of my nose and told her "that is how I would have to hold them to be able to see clearly". (These are plastic frames so no nose piece to adjust). She finally took them to the back and came back out and said, " you are right they are not right". So... sent them back to be redone. 3 days later I get a phone call and she tells me that my glasses came in but one of the lenses was scratched so they were reordering another lense. Wait some more. 2 days later about 7p.m. I get a phone call stating that my glasses came in but that someone with the same last name came in and they gave them my glasses. How the heck is that possible? They were trying to track down the client to correct the error. I was so disgusted that I told her I just wanted a refund and would go elswhere for my glasses. When I went to the store to apply my refund back to my debit card she offerred me my glasses for half price. Hmmm. Tempted since I was already in the store, I replied, "well let me try them and see if the lenses were corrected" and she said, "we do not have them yet". Are you kidding...nope want a full refund.
