There are a gazillion artistically adorable, well cared for features to this place and the rooms are beautifully furnished. A feast for the eyes, tummy & soul! This felt like the nourishment we needed at the end of such a wild adventure. So many antiques, luxurious amenities & the downstairs games are in excellent shape. Try and give yourself a few hours at least during your trip to enjoy them. I've never seen a game room decked out like that. Wish I had friends in the area to invite over. Most importantly, the people who own and take care of everything here are warm, bright & absolutely on hand for their visitors. We got lucky!

Ours had a fireplace in the bedroom and a hot tub on the covered balcony with an amazing view of the night lights. The breakfast was delicious with fruit, yogurt, and granola to start followed by an egg and meat dish, which was my husband's favorite part. There was no detail left unattended to at this lovely B & B. Don't miss the chance to stay or return here. We sure won't.

They must have sound proofed the room. I loved the bed, but my boyfriend said that on his side of the bed there was a dip. The bathroom and shower was awesome, as was the breakfast! The only thing I wish were a little better was the light coming into the bedroom. It was hard for me to sleep with the light, and it looks directly into the building right across from us. So, I had a difficult time getting to sleep. Other than that this place was lovely. There was a nice wild bunny rabbit living out in front. The rabbit must have a den nearby. Lovely place though, and I'd highly recommend. Walking distance to coffee, restaurants, etc...

Breakfast was served at anytime between 7-10 and had a great variety of juices, teas, coffees and other accompaniments to to the main meal. They had a courtesy keurig & water bottle located in the closet for use at any time. The Inn was within walking distance to the downtown area and located near the beautiful Colorado College campus. We stayed in August 2016 and the rate for the Lily of the Valley room was $95/night - much cheaper than most of the hotels in the area. If you're looking for a bargain without sacrificing location & amenities, then look no further than the Crescent Lily.

I looked at my two travel companions and they didn't seem to be as bothered as I was. I thought that I'd get used to it and sat on the bed. The longer I sat there, the less I liked it. My friend looked at me and said "You're not happy." I said "This is horrible!" Someone must've made a mistake and put us in a smoking room. I looked around the room and saw a NO SMOKING sign on the back of the door. I couldn't believe it. It smelled like someone had smoked a carton in there the day before. I suggested changing rooms but my companions didn't want to because it was a long drive after a long day of skiing and they had already opened their bags and changed clothes. I didn't have much pull because I didn't make the reservation. I thought "This is going to be a long night.", and it was. Even though the bed was OK, I must've woke up at least 8 times. I felt like I was sleeping down wind of a smoldering campfire, the smell assaulting my lungs with every breath. I got up as soon as I could, dressed, packed my bag and got out of there. I told my friends "I'm not going back in that @#$% room." When I left, I saw that ALL the rooms were "non-smoking". If that's the case, it would've probably been a waste of time to change rooms. At a minimum, the hotel needs to redefine the room to a smoking room. I don't see how they're going to get that stench out. Or better yet, just put a "Keep out. Toxic waste -not suitable for human habitation." sign on the door. The room needs to be gutted, stripped to bare walls and floors, and completely rehabbed. But then again, if all the rooms are like that, it would be a better business decision to raze the building and start over. And it's not just because of the smoke. The room looked like it had been last updated a about 40 or 50 years ago. Furniture was coming apart. The bed dust ruffle was ripped and falling apart. The finish on the doorknobs was coming off after decades of use. The carpet was getting threadbare. It still had a popcorn ceiling. Of course you couldn't see any of that in the online photos. The real icing on the cake came when we got home. The hotel tried to pin a $150 charge on the bill "because we were smoking in the room". Can you believe it?! After what we went through, I was incensed. A phone call cleared it up. I'll give them credit for that. Why didn't they do that to the previous occupant who deserved it? And why didn't they do anything to remove the smell or just not rent that room? In any case, Travelodge/ Windham is now at the bottom of my preferred hotel list. They should be embarrassed/ashamed to have a hotel like that with their name on it. Needless to say, I won't' be staying there ever again - you couldn't pay me to. You should stay away too.
