Beware! This place is running a scam. Came here to get my eyes exam and they measure me for contacts they charged me and charge my insurance. I told them I will pay out of pocket not to bill my insurance and they did even after I paid. They also billed my insurance $189 for contacts that they never called me to pick them up. It wasn't until 5 months later that I went to get glasses somewhere else that I found out they used up all my insurance money. What a rip off. Horrible service. These people should go to jail for scamming customers. read more

Best local optician I have been to in many years. Took my 90 year old mom in for new lens. Joann had the patience of a saint with a very difficult situation. She took her time and made us feel comfortable. She said it would take a week to make the lens, but when I told her I was leaving town, she waved her magic wand and the lens was here in two days. I have gotten my contacts and my glasses at Eyes on Atlantic. The service is terrific, Joann is always ready to answer questions and help you as much as she can. I also took my granddaughter there for new glasses. That's how much I trust this business. They have a terrific selection. Joanne is very knowledgeable and personable, it's always great doing business there. Dr. Rogers is also an excellent O.D. I have had exams from him and he is very thorough. No service AT ALL! I waited 15min and not even a hello or I will be right with you. No eye contact, as I stood at the front desk looking right at her. My husband and I have insurance and needed to get eye exams and new glasses for both of us. Not knowing the area I went with Yelp reviews. While gardening, I accidentally dropped a bag of mulch onto my glasses, which had fallen off. They were my favorite frames, but now were a twisted mess minus one lense. Being new to the area, I found this business gem on Yelp. Trusting previous reviews, I brought my glasses in to Eyes On Atlantic. The atmosphere there is very calming and I just love the old style Floridian decor!! Dr. Jo greeted me with a smile and reassurance that my glasses could be repaired. She not only repaired them in a matter of moments, but would not accept payment for the repair. My husband and I were concerned about finding eye care in Margate since our move, but not any longer. TL;DR - Excellent customer service, great selection and quality of frames, and an overall wonderful experience. Go here for great eye care. I went to Joanne after buying a pair of glasses online which did not work for me at all. The kind of glasses that are maybe good for walking the dogs, but that's about it. I hate buying glasses and generally avoid it at all costs. But since I'm kind of blind without them and my internet pair did *not* work, I decided to go to Eyes on Atlantic based on the good Yelp reviews. Joanne was amazingly patient to look at my glasses and listen to my rants about what I do and don't like. She managed to find 2 pairs of frames for me that fit wonderfully, look amazing, and at a reasonable price to boot. The cost ended up being less than I would've spent online, for superior quality frames, and with great service and support (and with really quick turnaround to boot). In addition, she spent time giving some TLC to the frame I bought online, to make it as decent as possible. This shop is a gem for eyecare needs. read more

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH LUPE!!! Not to mention that his exam room was a total mess and I am not so sure sanitary at all. I get 2 boxes of contacts a year free from my insurance and my contact lens fitting (which was non existent as he just gave me the same prescription) is $0 copay. Well, they charged me $80.00 for non-existent fitting and also double billed my insurance $110.00 for it!!!!!! After filing a complaint with my insurance Joann insisted that she told me that I could get one box of contacts and the nonexistent fitting or 2 boxes of contacts, that scenario was never told to me! NOT SO, MY INSURANCE CLEARLY STATED $0 FITTING FEES AND $200 WORTH OF MATERIALS - WHICH A FITTING IS NOT A MATERIAL! SO I AM OUT $80 AND ON TOP OF THAT I WAS PRESCRIBED MEDICINE WHICH IS PREPRINTED ON THE PRESCRIPTION PAD FOR A NON EXISTING "EYE INFECTION"!!!
