The office is modern and welcoming, almost as welcoming as the staff. From the phone call to understand if I needed an appointment to showing up, everything about my experience was top notch. If you value maintaining deep, long-term relationships with your doctors and their staff, this may not be the right place for you. Dr. Rogers has always been excellent to our family, and our family had been patients for almost 3 years (if not longer). Unfortunately, our final experience changed our perception of the practice. My husband missed an appointment and received a call that he'd be charged the $75 no show fee per the policy. That's fine, policy is policy. He was busy and informed Britney over the phone that he'd call back with a card to charge it. Rather than provide him the opportunity to call back, she Immediately charged my card on file. When I called to to ask why my card was charged, she said it was because he never gave her a card to charge. Did she provide him the opportunity to call back like he said he would? No. did she inform she'd charge the card on file if he didn't call back in X minutes? No. She pointed to the policy to back up her actions. She was just very unnecessarily rude and dismissive. This review is not about a missed appointment fee, we understand policies exist and accept responsibility when appointments are missed. The way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily adversarial. Britney was dismissive, argumentative, and showed little concern for maintaining a positive relationship with long-term patients. What was most surprising was how quickly the practice (Dr. Rodgers) seemed willing to lose an entire family's business over a single incident - didn't even say "how can I make things right or how can I retain you and your family's business", etc. Good patient service isn't tested when everything goes right, it's tested when problems arise. Sadly, this experience left us feeling unwelcome and not valued, and we chose to take our family's care elsewhere. But it's fine, Dr. Rodgers says she has a waitlist of 11 patients looking to get in, so I am glad we opened the door for five more patients that need eye care in Boerne. read more

I've been coming here for about five years now and will continue to be a loyal client. I don't live in town, but make the drive to Boerne because they are one of the few places that carry Chanel frames and they accept my insurance. They're really good about working with me to help me save a trip, which I appreciate. I'm more than happy to visit a coffee shop while I wait for them to cut my lenses rather than having to sit in traffic to make a return trip. Sarah was very kind and patient with me as I tend to be a bit indecisive when picking out frames. She gave me her opinion and even helped me find the frame I really wanted in a size that I felt more comfortable with. Dr. Rodgers creates such a welcoming environment, as is evident by how willing she is to help. I had a question about my benefits, and rather than directing me to someone else she answered my questions herself. At 4:45pm I notified them I couldn't stay due to another appointment and they charged me for leaving. I wish that I could give Dr Rodgers and her staff more than 5 stars. Dr Rodgers and her staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and professional. My husband and I went to see Dr Rodgers a few months back and we were both very impressed with our visit. Today I went with my daughter for her to have an exam and again I was highly impressed with how we were treated. Eyes on Main is not only beautiful and welcoming and their selection of frames are amazing and all of the equipment is state of the art. Why can I say! Best Eye Doctor visit I had in a long time. I recently wanted to switched from glasses to contacts and had many doctors say that I needed to take a 30 minute training class on how to apply, clean, and maintain your contacts. This not only would cost $100 but wouldn't guarantee I walk away with a pair if I couldn't apply my contacts sever times on my own. After informing Dr. Rodgers and her team of this they assured me that that is not the norm and to come in and they will take care of me. Once arriving I was very hesitant to apply the contacts, but the staff there helped me and encouraged me. Once I was able to apply the contact she gave me a free pair of contacts and shipped the remaining pairs to my house! Great service and what a friendly staff! read more

If I could give this place more than five stars I would!! Dr. Loren and her team were so fantastic. Dr. Loren was so sweet and thorough when giving me my eye exam. She answered all the questions I had and her staff were very accommodating to my boyfriend's and I schedule when making an appointment, going so far as to call me right back as soon as they had an opening. From the moment I walked through the door they treated me with nothing but kindness and professionalism. I even tried on some pairs that day even though I didn't have an appointment and found an amazing Chanel frame. When coming back for my appointment I found out that they had just sold the frames. The team was more than happy to order a new pair just for me. The staff also made sure to deeply educate me about what type of lenses to get. With top of the line equipment and amazing customer service Dr. Loren and her team made sure I got my money's worth and showed how passionate they were about my eyes! All the ladies are very helpful in this optical shop. They will definitely take the time to help you when you go in. Women's selection is pretty good. Couldn't get Chanel with my insurance but not their fault. Apparently Chanel is very picky.
