For a short time, he was at the San Pedro location and then moved out to the Vineyard-Blanco location. After he moved locations, i remained at the San Pedro location for ease, and have been seen by Dr. Edward Elder. Henry in the shop takes PERSONAL pride in engaging with customers and it shows. He is personable, friendly and always willing to work with you. They take insurance and I have been a pay out of pocket customer for quite some time. I will go out of my way to see them vs any other optometrist or optometry store. Most recently I self injured my right eye and when I called for an appointment, I was seen the same day. They go above and beyond with customer service and satisfaction. While I have on occasion sought out an eye exam with other providers, I find myself always returning here. (PS. ALL optical shops charge an arm and a leg for prescription eyeglasses, it's simply a fact of life.) However, Henry and his crew knows that I order my glasses online as I like to swap out glasses often and never hesitate to provide me with my prescription and all the numbers I need in order to purchase my glasses online.

I went in to complain at 3pm and had the lady check to see if she could find my voicemail and she had to ask someone how to do it and there were still messages on there from 9am. I've been waiting for a month for my kids glasses. Her contacts came in but they returned them because no one answered my voicemail asking when they would come in. They hadn't even ordered her glasses so it looks like I'll be waiting another two weeks for those...

I don't remember the ladies names that helped me but both were amazing. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses - one beautiful red pair and one blue pair. One for Near sighted and one for far sighted. I added on extra scan for the health of my eyes- the total still came out to only $119. You can't beat that for the overall experience!!

Despite the obvious and total damage, they only refunded the lenses, completely ignoring the cost of the frame and the fact that the glasses were left unusable. I clearly expressed my disagreement, but no fair or professional solution was offered. I expected better treatment and accountability, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I do not recommend this location if you care about your products and your money. As a customer, I felt ignored and extremely disappointed with how they handled the situation.

It's been almost two weeks and I still haven't gotten them back. I can't drive at night, I'm constantly getting headaches since my job is literally nothing but reading all day, and the headaches are making me irritable on top of that. Anytime I call there are no updates or anything that can be done to expedite the process. On top of that even with my insurance (which is really good) I still paid $245 out of pocket and my insurance actually covers $225 of my frames. If I had just gone to my normal optometrist I wouldn't have had a co-pay. These guys are crooks and liars. I only broke down for the fast service but that never happened. This place works like a used car dealership. Made me wait an hour and a half past my scheduled appointment to get an eye exam, then three different men at different computers all tried to "help me" get the "best price" for my glasses and contacts. Talking over each other while telling me they were doing me a huge favor by only charging me $1100 when any simple addition of the advertised prices yielded a much smaller number. They sell hard, and once they take your money, they're gone and leave you holding the bag. In sum: Fake refund policy (illegal), deceptive pricing, scummy selling tactics. Get an exam literally anywhere else and buy glasses & contacts online. It's faster, it'll you'll save money, and you'll get treated with respect. Don't believe the Google reviews, StanOptic gets all honest facts about them taken down to maintain online brand image.

The girl I spoke to was skinny and short, kept talking about buffalo wild wings with long stringy brown hair, also Hispanic, and also a bitch, who saw nothing wrong in paying full price for a busted up display pair. They fired that girl because I guess they realized she was a fucking problem, and there's new staff so hopefully this issue will get resolved, but whoever I dealt with for my exams and orders can go play in traffic, thank you!
