Over the following weeks: - A tire shop found the subframe was misaligned, bolts were improperly torqued, and the alignment was far off. - After multiple visits to resolve it, I still had to go to a GM dealership twice to get the vehicle driving straight. - All in all, it cost me over 15 hours and additional repair bills -- just to fix strites work When I tried to resolve things formally, the owner did not dispute any of the details. Instead, I received a religiously framed email, offering a lump sum payout if I met him in person at a specific time. The tone and content were so unprofessional and manipulative that I can't even include them here -- because some platforms flag or reject the wording even though it's his. Even on Better Business Bureau, the owner publicly used similar language -- asking readers to "continue to find life and meaning in Jesus Christ" in response to my report. That further reinforces my concerns. He thought that the sounds and shaking from it meant that my engine was probably done! So he recommended that I take it to Strite's because he didn't want to deal with it. It turned out when Strite's took a look at it, that all it needed was a new timing belt kit, and a couple other reasonable parts for a Honda Odyssey from 2014 at 135k miles. I am extremely pleased with the level of expertise, friendliness, and the fact that they were honest, fair, and had a fast turnaround on the work. I would not hesitate to refer Strite's to friends and family, and I will definitely return to them for work on my vehicles in the future.
