I was traveling from Pensacola Florida back home to Shelburne, Vermont and it was running on about…read moreseven hours of sleep for the last two days. With almost 8 hours in front of me I just cited to stop in this quaint little town to rest for the night properly and avoid the storm. That being said, I wanted to go to Walmart and buy a few items as well as fill the gas tank up so after I left Walmart, I was heading down the road that the hotel I'm staying at is on. For some reason I just had to fill up all the way as I usually do. I went to turn in to the parking lot of a gas station that looked like it might be open. I slowly turned in to the parking lot and as I did, there was part of the curve, that's hard to describe how it's made, but it's sharp and I busted my tire. The hole knocked in. It must've been at least 4 to 5 inches maybe even larger. I was about a half a mile from home if that or hotel, rather, as Home is in Vermont. I called a company called Mr. Tire and he recommended Abe's towing, I was reluctant at first, because I didn't know anything about them, but the gentleman I spoke to on the phone was unbelievably polite and knowledgeable as well. They said they have a guy out within 30 minutes to pick it up, 30 minutes? On a weekend? You can't get that service anywhere besides that the driver Chris was here before I could even finish getting my clothes back on. He by far, one of the best representatives for a company you could have, Chris explained everything completely, and treated my Jeep like a baby! I cannot say enough about Chris, I went from a very foul mood to having a pretty brighter outlook pretty quick. The price is reasonable and likely less than anybody that you call and when they say a half an hour, start getting ready immediately because they're very fast to get to your location. I believe the entire fleet is that way, to the people who deserve it and probably to those that don't. They are just a solid company from what I've seen and heard. They are highly recommended among the people I talk to they have a few different shops, so if you can't get in one, you can definitely get another. They have a convenient online sign up for appointments! I love that part of the website. So many towing companies out there or just out for the buck, but not these people they're out for your business, they're genuine, transparent, and follow through with their word. I would say, use them, and to those that do congratulations, you just made a good friend. To those of you who choose not to use Abe's towing service center for your needs, congratulations you have found a home for your car to those of you who wish to read this review and go other places. One of the drivers from this company, (we don't know if he was the owner or just a driver) was backing out onto the road, which I think is illegal, to hook up stranded vehicle. My husband had to slam on his brakes which caused our food to fall. We got out of the car and mentioned this to the driver pointing out he was in the wrong for backing out into the road the way he did. He was a complete smart ass. I'm glad there are other towing companies around and I don't have to worry about using this company.

I called complete car Care talk to Eric he told me to bring it in so I got there before he was getting ready to close and explain the situation to him, so he told me to bring it back the next day and I did first thing the next day. He took it for a test drive with me and explained everything on what it was doing and what it could be. He looked at it and found out I needed a starter and carburetor cleaned and some other things had to be done he was very thorough on what it was and what had to be done. There was some things that had to be fixed but I didn't have the time, I had to get on the road back to Pittsburgh PA. But I am thankful he got me back on the road where I can handle the hills better and make it back. If I had more time I would have let him complete everything. He is a very good mechanic. I originally had my car fixed after a front collision and they did great work. With progressive I…read morehad the choice to go to a dealership or to a local auto body shop and I chose the local to support local businesses. After picking up my car I noticed new chips off the paint on my back bumper that I believe were not there when I dropped it off originally. I called them the next day and the gentlemen at the front desk said to find a time you can bring it in and we will take care of it. I dropped it off on the 12th, got a call the 13th from a woman saying they didn't know what was being done to my car....I explained the situation and she said everyone was on vacation or off so thats why they didn't know and someone would call me the following day if there was an issue. I waited a week and called on the 19th to see what was going on with what should just be a quick paint job. No one seemed to know what was going on with my car after being placed on hold twice. Actually spoke to Tom Shockey he said he was reviewing cameras to make sure they were at fault. He said he would call me the following day. I waited till the 23rd because I understand people get busy and watching camera is a time consuming activity. I spoke to someone who said that Tom wasn't in and he would leave him a message. I never received a call from anyone letting me know what was happening and where they were in the process. I eventually just went and picked up my car on the 27th and they happily gave it to me. I don't care that it never got fixed because it so small but I think their way of doing business with how they communicate to the customer who is without a car for 2 weeks is completely unprofessional. I am a business owner and if a customer claimed one of my associates did damage or something in the same criteria in my restaurant I would put every effort towards finding out what happened and make sure none of my associates were at fault and happily communicate to the customer that I reviewed camera and cant see anything or what I see is not their account of the story. If they did it or not I'm just going to spend my money at a dealership from now on!

This is a long overdue review. My bus broke down on the way from NC to CT. It's a 1990 Bluebird…read morewith a Cummins engine in the front. I called just about every shop in the area that works on diesel and all of them told me that they didn't want to work on it, a few people even laughed at me, said "no thanks" and hung up on me. Dave was very kind and helpful on the phone and said that if I could get it to their shop they'd look at it first thing in the morning. We managed to limp the bus over to the shop. Dave was still there when we arrived (it was evening) and he was kind enough to give us a ride to our motel. Aaron had the bus fixed by noon the next day. We had another complication as we drove another 30 miles up the road, and Aaron arrived as quickly as he could and jumped through hoops to get us back on the road. After that last hiccup, we made it back to CT safe and sound and the bus drove wonderfully. I've never had such a pleasant experience with a mechanic shop. These folks know what they're doing and they care. Dave even called us after we left to wish us safe travels. The competence and the kindness were truly overwhelming. It's one of those experiences that makes you feel better about humanity.
