Needed a Smog Check and looked for a place local. There are plenty of businesses in Van Nuys but I'm glad I picked this one! Called ahead to check if they're busy and needed appointment, also a quote. They were free today and was quoted a special price, just mention the quote when arriving for the service for discount! The service was quick, easy, and couldn't have been more seamless. Was done within 15 minutes while waiting in their comfortable waiting area. Masks were worn and distance kept. Jesus was already working on a vehicle in a lift. he dons a mask and is already wearing gloves which reminds me to put mine on as i exit my vehicle. he asks, smog check? i say yes. he reaches in for the dmv paperwork on the dash and hands me a clip board to fill in with my info. he immediately sets my car up and beckons an apprentice who seems to me to be his son who continues where he left off. before i can even begin to meditate as i was responding to some messages on its app the smog check was done. he confirmed that the results has been sent to dmv and since i already registered i will get my tags in the mail. Just left this place! José was super helpful. Figured out a very simple problem. It cost 5 bucks to repair. The place I went to before wanted to charge 115 to just look at my car. José did it for free and fixed it for the cost of the part. He is all about helping people. He explained what things I HAD to get done and what things I could wait on for my car.
