So quick and easy, it was painless. All except for the part of having to pay the taxes due. Dropping off the paperwork was quick and easy without an appointment. Even with less than 10 days until the taxes were due. Several days later, we received a call that the preparation was done. When we arrived to pick up the taxes, Ian took the time to explain the last step of the process, including verifying all the information was correct. We were informed the taxes would be e-Filed the same day. The forms were all together in a neat folder, with the required payment verification forms were all placed in their respective envelopes, a ready to go. I am absolutely livid with Ian! First of all, EZ tax made a mistake on our 2020 taxes. This error was caused by EZ Tax reporting we did not receive enough stimulus payment and included the additional amount on our 1040. Well, the IRS caught this and charged us interest and a penalty. We never talked to Ian and his crew about our stimulus payments because they were non taxable. EZ Tax on their own calculated we were underpaid and reported a shortage. When I talked to Ian about this error not only did he get upset with me and tried to put this error on my wife and I but he was extremely rude, short and very unprofessional. Ending the conversation by saying at least you're not being shot at and you have food in your bellies before hanging up. That what you look for in a tax preparer. GEEZ!!! read more

I can't recommend these people enough. I have routinely dreaded dealing with my taxes but since I've been going to EZ Tax the last 10 years or so it has become the least of my worries. I've been through several economic "realities" and Ian and Bill and their staff do an excellent and quick job at getting me the most favorable results. I'm sort of embarrassed at how much I routinely paid before I came here. I have asked around of other folks as to where they went for tax work and the usual big companies were mentioned. When we'd compared notes I usually had the impression I was getting a much better deal than they were. I am so surprised to be the first reviewer! I literally thought there would be tons of "thank yous". This service has been where I take my taxes for the past 4 or 5 years. They are always professional, timely, and I feel the price-wise they are fair. I bring in my paperwork, I'm signing that day or the next day and getting my return in as little as two weeks! I am a big fan of passing on work that will otherwise sit on my desk for months. Ion is the person I always talk to there and he makes it very easy. He finds are all the deductiuons and credits for me by asking a quick couple questions...maybe 2-3 minutes. I don't have to go have a sit-in like I'm being interviewed.
