They are the ONLY ONES who cared about my complicated tax situation that haunted me since filing my 2021 taxes. The IRS claimed I owed thousands of dollars and for the past three years kept adding on penalty fees and interest to the sum I knew I did not owe. They even threatened a lean against my home. That's when I opened a new CC to pay off the "debt". We are very happy with the help Cole provided. My daughter prepared her own 2023 tax returns using TurboTax. She received a Notice from the California Franchise Tax Board requiring her to submit a lot of documentation. I called and left a message with Surf City Tax Services requesting help. I am beyond pleased with Surf City Tax, and with Paul in particular! I had a somewhat complex tax year last year, with income from three different sources including a w-2 and sole proprietorship. I was in over my head, and Paul came to the rescue and gave me a clear, short list of documents and pieces of information he needed to do my taxes. Everything was sent over a secure document transfer service online. It was quick and easy. When documents needed to be signed, I signed them again online and it only took thirty or so seconds. I expected to owe a couple thousand in taxes, but Paul gave me the great news yesterday that I'm actually getting a return instead!
