We've called twice to get a local office to respond and filed a claim. Absolutely WORST movers we've ever hired. Never again. Very mixed feelings about College Hunks. Two of the gentleman were friendly and moderately professional, one made me feel very uncomfortable. Regarding the care of our furniture...sons items were wrapped, some were not. It was hard for me to keep an eye on things as I have a broken foot, really limited my ability to track how items were handled. One piece of furniture ended up with significant dirt on the side, very disappointing. There was some open complaining about a piece of heavy furniture, belching, a few swear words, just things that aren't very polite or professional. They ended up taking MUCH longer than the quoted 3 hours, ended up at almost SIX hours! Original quote was $700, ended up at just under $1,200. Overall, I would not hire them again.

This lady is a scam artist. She posted items for FREE on marketplace saying "take anything you…read morewant" then threatened us to either drop the items back off or pay her for the junk. If we refused she said she would file a police report. We talked to our lawyer and they said while she doesn't really have a leg to stand on, she could drag this out and make a big stink about it if she wanted to. She seemed to be the type of person that manipulates people so she can get her way. We are a hour away so it really hurt us to drag the truck and trailer there and back twice. I tried to show her that our time and travels adds up to way more than she thinks we "stole" but she freaked out and threatened us again. We eventually just dropped the crap back off and called it a loss. I'm sure she is smug thinking she really showed us but we just didn't want to waste any more time or money on her drama. I'll never do business with her and I will forever tell people to stay far away from her!

I quickly heard from her with a very-reasonable estimate and time frame, and I scheduled an appointment. As can happen, she had a last-minute problem and wasn't able to come when expected. This is when Megan's professionalism was at its best! She made sure I was taken care of, and I could tell she was concerned that she'd let me down (she hadn't!). When she arrived with a colleague, they quickly took my junk, then looked at my table. I was relieved when she told me that she had a friend who redid old furniture and she would pass it to her. I really wanted my 1940s table to live on, and Megan made sure of that. I absolutely plan to hire Megan again . . . as soon as I get around to cleaning my garage!
