I had a great experience with James Clinic. When the Troy, Michigan location was open, I was able…read moreto try the PICO CBD IV and use the InBody machine, and it truly changed the way I think about managing both my weight and fibromyalgia pain. I never would have considered CBD as an IV option before, but the results really surprised me and opened my mind to new possibilities. James Clinic also changed the way I think about supplements and how to support my lifestyle in a healthier way. I appreciated that they have someone on staff who can help with diet and explain which foods may support inflammation and overall wellness. One thing that really stood out to me was Dr. James herself. She's very straightforward and clearly cares about helping people improve their health. She also offers Monday night webinars, which I found to be informative and genuinely motivating without feeling over the top. Overall, the experience felt thoughtful, educational, and supportive.

She began treating me for a variety of imbalances including recommmending a liver cleanse (my LFTs were elevated). I also chose to do 2 rounds of systemic PRP in addition to several medications. I also chose to use several supplements they recommend (but don't sell, so little in it for them). And I chose to do the weight loss shots. I feel better than I have in 10 years. Through the 18-20 months that I have been treated here I have found each person to be very patient-focused. Dr James and PA Sarah Taylor really listen and have provided the best care I have ever received. Did I mention that I feel the best I have felt in at least 10 years? And through it all nurse Brenda Hathaway has coached and counseled me. I am so impressed by her knowledge and her dedication to helping me navigate all the available options to chose what is best for me. She helped me manage my nutrition and exercise so that I lost fat and not muscle while on the shots. She is helping me maintain my weight now that I'm off the shots. She is priceless!! And did I mention that I feel better than I have felt in 10 years? I would highly recommend this clinic!

The staff here is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, caring, and kind. They really want you to have a good experience. They did a great job preparing me for what would happen. I know some people might think this is a bit woo-woo but I recommend having an open mind, and trying it to see how much it helps calm your nervous system. They provide everything you need, including a comfortable cushion, blanket, eye mask, various pillows, and if you don't want to lay on the ground, they do have chairs to sit in as well.

Walking in the space is minimal and clean with spaces for your shoes and belongs. They ask that you don't use your phone and turn it off so the sounds don't disturb people. You select fuzzy blankets, pillows, neck rolls and even eye masks to take into the room where foam Matts and zero gravity chairs are arranged at nice distances along the room. They have gongs and bowls and various percussion instruments and chimes arranged along the far wall. Linda greeted us and Faith also helped play the instruments. We did some breathing exercises and then you simply lay and let the sound wash over you. It was like a group nap time, but it was relaxing and comfortable. I really wasn't sure what to expect, and I was so refreshed. The dedicated time to sit and relax worked for me. I slept better than I had all week. I am less stressed today and I think it was from this. I felt like I took a full mental spa day but it was only an hour! I didn't have to do anything to clean up as they roll in laundry tubs and clean up everything after. I think this will be something I add into my stressful moments of my life and help focus on me this next year. Check it out!

I was sold after my first appointment. If you live in the St. Peters/O'Fallon area, this is your guy. If you live downtown, this is still your guy. I swear he's worth the drive. I've never had a doctor pay more attention to what I'm telling him and genuinely care about what it is that I'm saying... and that's priceless. He's also a pretty funny guy who tries to be "hip" to what's going on in the world and strikes up the funniest conversations! Dr. McIntosh is thorough and knowledgeable, and he'll get you back up and running in no time. I've seen him for typical stuff such as allergies and colds, and he makes great recommendations and always gives me tips that help me feel ten times better. I even had to call the after-hours line once with a bad sinus infection (sure he appreciated that one) and he was still as caring and attentive even though I was bugging him late at night. What puts him above all others is how he follows up and doesn't give up until you've fixed whatever the problem is. For myself, the allergy queen, he prescribed a medicine and a nose spray and had me check in with him 7 days later via the phone, and we spoke that often until he had me on a plan that was working wonders. Looks like I'll be driving that 45 minutes next time I need him!

Dr. McIntosh has been my primary care doctor for over a decade. He is very personable and has an excellent bedside manner. He has seen me through quite a few health issues and always pops through when I've been admitted to the hospital. We don't have all the answers for my health problems but I can't say he doesn't LISTEN to every single one of them. He orders tests and refers me to specialists when needed. I've never felt misunderstood or dismissed which is not something I can say for many many specialists I've seen. To be fair, Auto Immune diseases are notoriously difficult to diagnose but I can confidently say Dr. McIntosh is doing everything he can to help me get answers. I would send anyone I know to see him without reservation. *Read up on Celiac Disease, doc! The amount of misinformation from medical professionals on this is criminal and a huge disservice to those who have it. Effects from celiac damage can spill over into almost every other part of your body. Celiac is for life and a negative blood test/scope (after a positive one) means you're doing well GF. it does NOT mean Celiac went away and you can eat what you wish! Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk (which I shockingly have to give to almost every doctor I've seen.)
