But when i called Essential tints, they basically broke down everything i was looking for and even told me i can come by and check out the wraps they have in person. So after going there and meeting with the team, Sam, Martin, and John. They all kind of broke down the best options for me to move forward (considering I will have my car for 7-10 more years). They then introduced to me something called "Color PPF". and When i first heard it, i was thinking okay that sounds dope but what's the price tag..? Turns out vinyl wrap that every shop uses, lasts only like 3 years or so, while the colored PPF lasts 7-10 years. And when you're already considering to pay a good amount of money to get a car wrapped, why not put in a little bit more and get the best possible results. I cannot explain the ease of the whole thing. I also had them redo my tint and wow the difference is worldly. To be honest, the biggest thing that made me wanna get it done with essential tints, is the fact that they offer a loaner car... i've NEVER seen a shop do that. only dealerships. They did a fantastic job on it honestly i don't have anything but great words because my car is truly 1-1 now. Ed answered the line and offered to give me quotes over phone. When I told him I could leave the car all day, he welcomed my business and was enthusiastic about taking my car in. When I got there, he helped me select the best tint options for my windows and the price was much more affordable than other tint shops in the area. He also offered a discount if I paid with cash. Just before I left, Ed asked if I called an Uber and when I told him I did, he asked me to wait inside the shop (I'm assuming for my safety) which I thought was a welcomed touch of human compassion that I don't experience often with car shops. I physically went around and looked at quite a few different wrap shops, compared their work, pricing, truck wrap designs, facilities, and overall professionalism. The Wrap Shop was probably 10-20% more expensive depending on the service, and initially, that did put me off. I'll also admit that some of the language in their contract seemed excessive to me at first. Between that and the higher price, I wasn't completely sold. What kept me interested was the professionalism and the quality of the work I was seeing. My business coach eventually asked me a very simple question: what actually stood out about The Wrap Shop compared with everyone else? The answer became pretty obvious. A lot of the major, successful brands I see around Los Angeles were using them, and their fleet wraps, truck wraps and van wraps simply looked better. So I called Arin and explained exactly what was going through my head. Instead of trying to give me a sales pitch, he invited me in and showed me behind the scenes. That completely changed my perspective. This isn't just someone designing a wrap and outsourcing everything. They have their own printing equipment, multiple dedicated areas for different stages of production, a substantial team, and actual systems for everything from wrap design and printing through installation and quality control. If you're a one-man operation and your only priority is getting the absolute cheapest truck wrap possible, this probably isn't the shop for you. But if you run a serious business, have a growing team, or are building a fleet and care about your brand, professionalism and return on investment, I think the value here is exceptional. They may not be the cheapest, but in my experience, the return on every dollar spent here is significantly greater than trying to save a little money somewhere else. The professionalism, truck design, wrap design, systems, workmanship, service and willingness to go above and beyond have all been outstanding. They genuinely seem willing to do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. After seeing the number of employees, equipment and infrastructure behind the operation, I actually found myself wondering how they maintain it all. Their overhead must be enormous, but you can see where the money goes when you look at the finished product and the service surrounding it. I honestly don't think I'll even bother getting quotes from other wrap shops next time. For our future truck wraps and fleet wraps, I already know where I'm going. If you're building a professional company and want your vehicles to represent your business at the same level, it makes sense to work with people who take their own business just as seriously.
