My experience with Ed's Window Tinting was awesome from start to finish. First off, I called the business 15 minutes prior to them opening, hoping someone would answer so I can possibly drop off my car as soon as they open. Ed answered the line and offered to give me quotes over phone. When I told him I could leave the car all day, he welcomed my business and was enthusiastic about taking my car in. When I got there, he helped me select the best tint options for my windows and the price was much more affordable than other tint shops in the area. He also offered a discount if I paid with cash. Just before I left, Ed asked if I called an Uber and when I told him I did, he asked me to wait inside the shop (I'm assuming for my safety) which I thought was a welcomed touch of human compassion that I don't experience often with car shops. When I picked up my vehicle, I was so impressed with the tint job. The windows looked so clean and the tint shade he recommended turned out perfect. He also offers a lifetime warranty for peels and cracks. I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received and how easy it was to get my car tinted so quickly, without sacrificing the quality. Super happy to have communicated immediately with Marvin and get an affordable quote I was looking and hoping for. After securing the choice of this business, I asked if I could come the next day. They were okay with it and I was able to secure a time I chose which is absolutely amazing!! I parked up front and walked outside my boyfriend's car (the tinting was a surprise anniversary gift) and Marvin introduced himself to me, looked at the car and noted existing scratches (to which I took the opportunity to take photos beforehand), walked me through the different shade percents I would like, and gave facts and judgement that I also agreed with. So ontop of the easy scheduling, the drop-off process was quick and easy. After choosing my preferred tints (front/passengers : 35% of light to go through, back/rear: 15% of light to go through), I signed the order form, and I walked out happy and excited. Marvin even went above and beyond by asking if I'd like a ride home, to which I politely declined. I also have to extra thank Ed for being patient and waiting for me after they closed at 5PM. I had come in before the time it was ready due to needing a key from the key ring I left behind. Thankfully, it all went well and I was able to drive my other car and pick my boyfriend up to bring him back to see the final results with me. Needless to say, my bf was super happy!! The results turned out amazing and made his car look 'sexay!!' It's been 3-5 days now since we have tinted it, and the bubbles disappeared after a few days with the sunshine. There's also a 5-year warranty included if anything didn't go right. So far, it looks so amazing and my boyfriend remarked it feels like a new car all over again. Poor communication: Emails and Yelp messages get occasionally answered; so you know they are getting them. Ed has someone else in his shop doing his online presence and that guy should be let go. Then had called to cancel an appointment because it was going to rain the next day and the car needed to be outside in the sun to dry. Also, they never called me to cancel. These guys are the best (& trust me- I did a lot of homework!) They've been at the same location for 30-years & it's no wonder why they've thrived. Honest, capable, and reasonably priced. Ed is the MAN! He takes his time with you, explaining things & showing you the grade percentage levels on other cars to make sure you pick what's best for your particular needs. I needed ceramic tint all the way around on my wife's Tesla Model 3. Loved the look of the 5% (blackout.. with 95% sun blockage) but thought the wife might struggle a bit driving at night, so went with 15% (with 85% blockage) & it turned-out perfect. No need to worry about bubbling or defects because it comes with a Lifetime warranty. THANK YOU, Ed! You treat your work like fine art & it shows. I called Ed to get a price on window tinting on my car. I came to him because of so many good reviews. He told me a price we agreed I was excited. I was working so I sent my sister to take me car. What he didn't say is that it would take all day and I had to leave my car there. My sister dropped off the car and he charged my sister way over the price he quoted me. He knew that it was my car because I had notified him the make model color and that my sister will be coming on my behalf. The tint is done well that is the only reason I gave any stars but it wasn't honest and I recommend just doing things yourself in person with him. He is not a good communicator and paying an extra 50 dollars than agreed price is unacceptable. I don't recommend due to the dishonesty. read more
