I got my 2023 EQS suv partially wrapped at JVs, the work was not done ucorrectly and had a lot of missing wrap that was coming off the edges. I got my car done and two days later I had to take it back to get it fixed. The third time I decided to go somewhere else because the work was horrible. I asked Jose for a partial refund since I am taking it to a new location and he was unwilling to work with me. Refused to get me a partial refund . I got recommended him by the Mercedes dealership of Calabasas and I would not recommend somebody spending so much on their car to go to this place to get bad wrapping done.

So I was calling around today to get some estimates for my car all the quotes I got were $200 and up. When I call JV Rabbs the guys there picked up right away even though they were a little bit busy they quoted me $140 and did it right there while I waited such a great job too. I have tinted a lot of cars in my life and never has it been a situation where it's while you wait I've always had to either call someone to pick me up to get a ride or whatever the case may be. Jose wrapped my car twice , both times the wrap faded in the sun within a year. He said there is a warranty of 5 years . Make sure to get everything in writing , this guy is a con. The 2nd time it faded in 8 months. Do not trust this guy, I'm taking this guy to court! Again make sure to get everything he says in writing, documented before any wrap is done!!!! read more

Set an appointment for a tint and hood wrap. Specified 20% tint and was told yes. At the time of appointment I was told they don't carry 20%. Pepa Pig told me I wouldn't get the deposit back for the wrap since he bought the material. So I was forced to move forward with the wrap and no tint or lose $100. Satin black wrap is in very common use so it's not like he'd lose anything. Overall the appointment started on a lie and they're incredibly rude on top of that. This business is dishonest and charges the same as other shops. Don't waste your time here. They'll just tell you that they know what's good for you better than yourself cause "I've been doing this for 11 years". Running a shit shop full of liars for 11 years is nothing to brag about. Was charged $280 for the hood wrap on top of my time being wasted. read more

I have taken 3 of our cars to JV Wraps for window tinting. They do a fantastic job, use the highest quality (3M) window film, and at the best price in the valley. I used to take our cars to other nearby shops where they charge almost twice as much but not anymore. Keep up the great and honest job guys! read more

The tint was bad very horrible job scratched 2 of my windows did not even tried to work something with me, all he kept saying was to re do my tint which is not what I wanted why keep re doing it if they will going to scratch it even more, very very bad business. This man says his goal is to have customers satisfaction yet I'm not satisfied with the work and still won't make it up for the bad work they did on the car. read more

He has done both of my cars my 2016 mustang gt i had custom stripes wrapped on the car and he had all the best material all the ones I asked if his business uses . Ed answered the line and offered to give me quotes over phone. When I told him I could leave the car all day, he welcomed my business and was enthusiastic about taking my car in. Lexus WH recommended this shop after I bought my new NX300h. Still, I researched other shops on yelp initially. Quotes for a full car wrap using 3M film (the best) from other shops were $1800-$2400 for my car, and the same for my husband's ES350. Jose, the owner of JV Wraps quoted a comparable rate at first. When he learned that we wanted two cars wrapped, he suggested significant cost savings by opting for a full roll of 3M film, rather than the standard pre-cut film wraps, and custom fitted to our cars. Jose quoted for two cars, under $1,000 each. I called Lexus WH again and confirmed that Jose was top notch. In talking to Jose, it became clear that he was very knowledgeable about not only car wraps, but dash cam installations, too. I brought along a new Thinkware dash cam/rear camera for him to install. The morning I dropped off my Lexus, the Lexus rep was dropping off a car, too. My dual job took a full day. The car wrap looked invisible and amazing! The dash cam worked perfectly -- unlike a different shop that had installed my first Thinkware in my old Honda Pilot. Now a month later, I couldn't be happier with both the full car wrap and the dash cam installation. The next day I brought my husband's ES350. Now here is where Jose and his crew set themselves apart, and IMHO superior, to other car wrap shops. The ES350 had a bra car wrap from 2008. Jose identified the bra car wrap as an inferior brand to 3M. It had peeled about an inch off the hood, collecting dirt over time. What was worse was that the old bra film had wrinkled badly, giving a shattered glass effect. Not only was it unsightly, the deep wrinkles in the old film had etched the car paint. Jose peeled a section off for me to feel the etching from the crummy old film under the bra-wrapped hood vs. the unwrapped hood section. Jose explained what needed to be done, as it was not a simple job of removing the old film and slapping on new film. The damaged car paint from the old bra wrap had to be carefully buffed and polished to remove the etching in the car paint. (I will try to add the before and after photos.) I also had a third Thinkware dash cam/rear camera for Jose to install. Jose did one helluva job. The ES350 looked gorgeous with the new full car wrap. The dash cam worked perfectly. Jose stuck to his original price. Wow. So then, my husband brought in our old Honda Pilot for Jose to fix the Thinkware dash cam wiring. After the first shop installed it, the dash cam continually drained the battery. It was so bad that we had to replace a 3 year old Interstate battery. The first shop "fixed" the problem, but the camera still wasn't working properly. My husband is a theoretical physicist. Anyone in trade who has worked for an engineer or scientist knows s/he will be asked a lot of technical questions because the engineer/scientist likes to ensure that the job will be done to his/her satisfaction, and the engineer/scientist likes to understand how things work. Incompetent or insecure tradesmen get flustered by the plethora of questions. Expert and competent tradesmen may initially be irritated by the many, many questions, but s/he also learns that his/her knowledge is so thorough that the answers satisfy the engineer/scientist. The good tradesmen are validated by the engineer's excellent opinion of her/his expertise. Jose proved himself to be knowledgeable, smart, and highly expert at his job. Jose explained that the dash cam was incorrectly wired, which aligned with what the manufacturer customer service had speculated. While my husband watched, Jose rewired the dash cam. Now it works great. JV Wraps has a front end office manager, Kayla, who is very nice, smart, and helpful. She's engaged to Jose. JV Wraps crew also drove me from the Canoga shop to my home in Malibu, and later picked me up to get my cars. Jose did everything he promised superlatively and quickly. Other shops wanted the cars to keep overnight for this same job. JV Wraps finished each car in one day. My husband and I trusted JV Wraps with our 3 cars. Jose and his crew proved completely trustworthy. Not sure why the other reviewer said otherwise. Each time I visited the shop, clients were dropping off cars to be worked on. Jose gets steady business, despite the 1 star review by the original lone reviewer. My husband, who usually couldn't care less about writing a review, asked that I write a review. Jose and his crew at JV Wraps completely earned 5 stars for working on our 3 cars. My husband and I are picky, besides. Jose is an expert in his craft. read more

I recently had the unfortunate experience of getting my new car tinted at JV Wraps and Customs, and I must say it was a complete disappointment from start to finish. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice before wasting their hard-earned money. Firstly, the customer service was appalling. The owner was rude and unprofessional, showing a complete lack of respect and courtesy. He seemed disinterested in answering my questions or addressing any concerns I had. It was clear that he only cared about making a quick sale rather than providing a quality service. The pricing was exorbitant considering the poor quality of their work. I have come across other reputable car tinting businesses that offer far superior services at a much more reasonable cost. It is clear that JV Wraps and Customs is simply trying to exploit customers by charging premium rates while delivering subpar results. In conclusion, my experience with JV Wraps and Customs was nothing short of a nightmare. From their unprofessional staff and low-quality workmanship to their lack of accountability and unreasonable pricing, there is nothing positive I can say about my interaction with this business. This place is horrible! I had the top portion of my car wrapped and had to take it back several times because it wasn't secure in a lot of areas, bubbling, not aligned with the creases. Total lame job! Less than a year later there is cracking in numerous areas. The owner does not back up his product or labor! Stay away from this place! read more
