Several years ago, I took a $300 Elgin watch with diamonds to Rollins Jewelers for repair. After…read morethe repair process took about 3 times longer than promised, the watch was more broken when it came back than it was when I brought it in. Three of the diamonds were missing, and they had noted "no missing stones" when they took the watch in. Additionally there was a huge piece on lint beneath the glass that obscured some of the numbers on the face. After pointing that out and complaining, the female working there proceeded to SCREAM and swear at me. I'm fortunate a man was there shopping, because he stepped in and told her to calm down. The lady eventually agreed to send it back and have the missing stones replaced, but when it came back the second time (again, later than promised) the stones clearly were not the same and did not even fit the watch. Not wanting them to have my watch any longer, I took it after the lady refused to give me a refund. Within a week, all 3 of the fake diamonds fell out of the watch. It's now worthless. I would NEVER go there again, or trust them with even inexpensive jewelry. The lady who screamed at me was crazy. She even apologized for "going off" on me, but never apologized for calling me all kinds of names. Ridiculous.
