On other occasions, I've gone to different hardware stores for the same reason. I had needed keys made and unfortunately, when I arrived home and tried the keys, they didn't work. When the person came for installation, the top lock seemed to stick somewhat badly, making it difficult to turn and lock/unlock, whereas the original lock had aligned quite well. He asked me for some WD-40, which I fortunately had, and applied that and insisted it'd be fine within a day or so. After several days...it still wasn't. I had paid cash per request and was a bit nervous, but was ultimately able to get them back out to adjust the lock so that it closed properly a few days later. The repair/reinstallation didn't take much time, and left me wondering a bit why it couldn't have been done properly the first time, but hey, ultimately they fixed it and it works fine now, so really no harm.

Then, last minute cancellation cz the cleaner was sick he said. Then he said 9am the next day. I confirmed. I did not check my email (although I did leave my phone #) but Yan said if its possible to resked again to 10:30am instead of 9am. I replied only late at night. I had no computer access. I called in the morning at 8am, 9am , 10am on that day. I emailed, tweeted -- no reply. Is the cleaner in my house? What is my schedule? Will the cleaner ever show up? The service and scheduling again seemed very commendable - Yan offered us a discount for being repeat customers and set up the appointment for the following weekend. THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT NO ONE SHOWS UP. My roommate who set aside her entire day waited and waited at the apt. We received no phone call, no form of contact for an explanation. Over the course of the following week we left over 5 voicemails asking for an explanation and a reschedule, and finally Yan returned a call. He explained that there was a system failure, and he was happy to reschedule for a free cleaning service. Great, so we reschedule and confirmed the Saturday appointment (today) on Wednesday. Fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me. The cleaner is now nearly AN HOUR LATE, and no one has answered my phone calls. I've sent text messages to Yan's cell, called the business line and left voicemails, still nothing. Words cannot truly express my frustration as we scheduled this cleaning in hopes of having a nice and tidy apt for a party we're hosting this weekend. After all the chances we've given Mr Clean's, I am truly disappointed to say that this is an extremely unreliable business. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE - I definitely am.

I booked a deep clean (~6 hours of cleaning) and felt like the pricing was absolutely commensurate for the cleaning that I received. I will definitely be repeating a deep clean a couple of times a year! Eric was the person I worked with and he was great - on time, friendly, easy to communicate with, and likes pets (which is important, as we have several cats!). He was up front in saying if there's anything he missed or something you want done differently, to just let him know and I actually felt comfortable doing so. For ex. he didn't automatically clean under the fridge, but when I asked him about it, he did it no problem. I imagine I will work with other people in the future, and I just hope my experience is uniform to what I experienced the first time around.
