I found Patrick through his rave reviews on Yelp, and after a quick call discussing the size of my apartment and its condition, Patrick was able to book me the next day on a busy Saturday. Patrick and Alex spent 7 hours without break deep cleaning every inch of my home, including shelving, cabinets, vents, electric outlets, walls, ceilings, baseboards, and those cleaned-once-in-a-lifetime nooks and crannies. It was the kind of superb detailing work that truly takes 2 professionals the whole day, and I could have never done it on my own in even a week because I would just give up. I called him while the work was being done. He told me to let him know as soon as the work was completed, and he'd be happy to do a walkthrough for me and squeeze me in so I could get home ASAP. He went to my apartment with his assistant and filmed the walkthrough and sent me the videos. It wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be, but it was still a job that would be too much for me to handle on my own. I knew if I hired Patrick, I could just walk back into my apartment as though nothing had happened. And that is EXACTLY what happened! He spent 1 full day and a morning cleaning the place from top to bottom. Everything was put back precisely according to pictures. I had done a lot of covering of closets, etc., because I was scared my building wouldn't do an adequate job. We had left it that he would check whether or not the inside of closets or cabinets needed to be done once he started the job. The oven still had oil residue, the fridge and cabinets were dirty, baseboards were dusty, windows had cobwebs, and even the dishwasher and microwave exterior were dirty. Kitchen counters still had brown residue that came off when wiped. Bathrooms were not deep-scrubbed at all, there was still visible grime and rust inside the cabinets. There was no communication from the company when the cleaner arrived or left, no photos of the work, and no follow-up... just a charge for a service that clearly wasn't delivered. I had to book a two-hour window (8-10am) and I asked if I needed to wait the entire time for someone. I replied to that email and asked about a specific time frame and received no response. The next day, the day of my service, I did not receive a 30 minute advanced notice, she just showed up at my door at 8:30am. She did not come with any supplies as the website stated. She only dusted the tops of furniture and did not wipe anything down. She didn't put anything back in its place and I had to go through my apartment and put things away where they belonged after she left. Even organizing things would have been helpful. I specifically asked that she lift the rug in my bedroom to mop the floor underneath and she said she would. When I got home, I checked and this wasn't done. She furiously grabbed the mop and did it quickly in a hurry, while speaking on the phone. A few days later, I received a text message to my personal phone saying that I had a balance due but with no instructions on how to pay it until I asked. Not a single email communication with them stated how I pay for the service. I asked how to pay it was and I was sent a Venmo image and that's it. I replied TWICE to the text message requesting the information over email and have yet to receive a response from anyone. I reached out to a few services, and Neatly Yours provided a very reasonable, middle priced quote. Booking was a breeze, and the customer service representatives were very responsive. I scheduled about 10 days in advance, and they were incredibly flexible with timing. The job required two cleaners, and we were lucky enough to get Krismar and Yusmari. To give some context, the house had been sitting vacant for 10 months before we bought it, and the previous owner was a smoker. The place smelled old, musky, and smokey, and every glass and mirrored surface was covered in a thick haze. Krismar and Yusmari worked absolute magic. The smoke smell is completely gone! The glass and mirrors are literally so clear now, and the windows look almost new. They did a pristine job on everything: floors, baseboards, drawers, tiled walls, window sills, doors, porch, shelves, and even between the balusters. The only thing missed was the ceiling fan blades, but given the massive scope of the deep clean, it was a tiny oversight in an otherwise flawless job. I also really appreciated their communication and honesty. There were a few areas they couldn't get to (like a window that wouldn't open and a few blocked drawers), and they made sure to call those out to me. Before they left, they had me do a walkthrough to make sure I was happy. If you need a deep clean, I highly recommend Neatly Yours, and definitely ask for Krismar and Yusmari! Not for a second did any of the 3 take a break from their right on time arrival for our noon appointment. I believe it took them 3.5 hours. May be more. When Carlos says they clean inside and outside kitchen/ bathroom cabinets and drawers, window and door frames, light fixtures, wood molding, steam mop, vacuum, dust he wasn't kidding. Those are things included. They also bring their own eco-friendly cleaning supplies, mops, steamer, broom, and even garbage bags.
