However, the venue insisted on charging us for the FULL HOUR. I thought it made no sense at all, and we were not told in advance. Worse still, my friend later told me that it took her massage therapist FOREVER to come into the room, so she only received 30 mins of massages and had to pay for the FULL HOUR on her birthday. The front desk staff were super nice to us when we walked in, but became very unfriendly upon checkout. One member was also reluctant on giving us the birthday discount, thought it was clearly stated on their website. I hate to leave a review like this, especially because I enjoyed my massage. I was laid down on a bed similar to any spa, and covered under a blanket. She started off with rubbing oil into my skin. This supposedly helps to draw out toxins before applying cleanser. I found this so interesting, she dropped lots of knowledge that I'll definitely have to add to my skincare routine! She followed that with an African black soap cleanser, and then a pumpkin/papaya scrub! Between each product she cleansed my face with a warm towel and consistently massaged it into my skin, which felt amazing! We also had great conversation the whole time!! She also had a steamer above me for hydration, which felt wonderful. Butter bar offers lots of services, but I chose to go with dermaplaning. I was afraid of pain or being cut but none of that happened. I almost couldn't feel it at all, and I immediately noticed that my skin felt smoother. (My appointment was at 1130, I was late on my behalf and called ahead to let them know. Honestly worked out because she was unable to the eyebrow tinting that was booked. I got undressed and she did not enter for another ten minutes. I got the under arm wax. The wax was burning hot. She then went to do the summer body. That lasted about 30 minutes. No extractions we're done and I have plenty of blackheads I was hoping she'd look at. There was no micro dermabrrasion done. She did the roller, left the room for twenty minutes. I was left exposed with curtains open and people walking in and out. got the first part done of applying the different products and dermaplanning. That last about 30 minutes. She them popped a few pimples, left me laying in a freezing cold room naked with only the towel wrap for 20 minutes, came back only to clean up the room for another ten minutes, wiped it off and told me I was done. Then I stood around for another 15 minutes waiting for a supervisor in the Houston location to correct the purifying for there summer fine body service to their promo code. Lasted longer than the actual service. I then called the Houston location after leaving to speak to a supervisor. He basically blew my issue off then asked what the problem was after telling him what happened. He then responded, I'll call you right back" and I have heard nothing. Very disappointing. The entire service time was awkward. She did not seem interested in even doing it. Normally one would walk through each step and explain what is being put on. Besides the fact that half of what was described and shown on social media was not done, I still had to pay for it. Then asked for a tip and given personal business card as if the service was even enjoyable for either of us! In reaching out on email and Instagram, no one has helped. Absolute waste.

I was so confused when she told me. Fast forward 10 min after leaving the place, my eye begins to swell up (see attached photo). I am not on any antibiotics, retinol, AHA, etc. that would cause my skin to be thin. After doing some research, I now think her waxing technique was off, thus ripping my skin off off. I was sad this happened, because the location is great if you live in midtown, but I am really disappointed in this. She took $5 off my total price (normal price is $15 for an eyebrow wax), but I tipped her thinking the rip wasn't that bad. Well, my eye has been stinging and I hope this doesn't scar. I intentionally waited more than six months before writing this review because I wanted to be able to comment honestly on both the experience and the results. My crown area had become almost completely bald, and I also had significant thinning through the mid-scalp. At this point, I am seeing real growth in the crown and noticeably greater density through the middle of my scalp. I understand that the full result takes time, so I am still relatively early in the process, but what I am seeing so far has made me very happy with my decision. One thing I especially appreciate is how natural and gradual the change has been. Hair restoration is not an overnight transformation. The growth happens progressively, which was actually a positive for me because the change did not suddenly draw attention from friends, family, or colleagues. Over time, you simply begin to look younger and more like yourself again - with your own natural hair growing back. I did a great deal of research before deciding to have a transplant, and I had plenty of questions and concerns going into it. My consultation with Dr. Jeremy Wetzel was a major reason I felt comfortable moving forward. He was candid and transparent about what I should realistically expect, how long the process would take, and the ongoing maintenance that would be important afterward. I never felt pressured or oversold. For a procedure that represents a significant personal and financial investment, that level of straightforward guidance mattered a great deal to me. The procedure itself was much easier than I had expected. With local anesthesia, I did not find the procedure painful. I had some minor discomfort for about a week afterward, but nothing I would describe as severe. The hardest part for me personally was being told I could not work out for roughly two weeks, and as someone who spends a lot of time in the gym, that may have been the most difficult part of the entire process! What really stood out, however, was the level of personal care after the procedure. Dr. Wetzel personally called and texted to check on me, and I had his direct cell number if I had a question or concern. That kind of access and follow-through is rare. The entire Anderson Center for Hair staff was also kind, helpful, and caring before, during, and after the procedure. (5 months Post Operation) - I am a thirty-year-old male who tried to tackle poor hair genetics on…read moremy own for too long. I started with special shampoos and conditioners, followed by organic oils and did not see any progress. Finally, I decided to begin researching hair transplant clinics and doctors. The Anderson Clinic was highly regarded from online reviews and after a very transparent and personal virtual consultation with Matt at Anderson Clinic, it was clear who I needed to trust to help me find a solution for hair loss. Immediately (approx. one day) after letting Matt know I was choosing to move forward with a hair transplant (FUE), I received a personal phone call from Dr. Wetzel who was extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of the questions I had. Though FUE is a premium compared to an FUT procedure I truly felt FUE was the best long-term fit for me as I wanted minimal scarring given my history of enjoying a short haircut style. Day of operation came and some of the initial things Dr Wetzel will work with you to do pre-op is the before photographs of your hair, the shaving of your head to optimize him and his staff ability to extract follicles, and then the designing or outline of your desired hairline which is carefully crafted to be natural. Day of procedure I was in office for 8 hours approximately for a Medium hair restoration procedure (2200-2300 grafts). The next morning, I woke up and went back to the office for complimentary hair wash and red-light treatment - a fantastic decision if you have the time to do this. The hair follicles are very fragile in the first 48-72 hours, so those next few days are crucial for following the discharge instructions. I would highly recommend Dr Wetzel and the team at Anderson clinic. I have heeded their advice and am taking finasteride daily as well as wearing a medical grade red-light hat to primarily prevent and/or slow down any further hair loss.
