Long time to see this location, which used to be the Studio Movie Grill 2 years ago. This is a fine gym and fitness center. I have the premium from Arizona. So, I can use it in any location. However, I have something to let you know: 1. As in other EoS locations, there is gym equipment, trainers, and movies. The employees are working so hard. I appreciate. 2. Staff here is always friendly and a few have become friends of mine :) ! This gym stays busy! but not so bad that you can't get to equipment. Great amenities-- outside workout area, booty focused room with scan in access, movie room with cardio equipment, cold plunge, two different saunas (infrared and traditional), as well as a collection of massage and cold therapy chairs. I signed up for this gym through my insurance program. Great prices and a lot more economical than my other membership. So far, I enjoyed the classes, step, body pump and dance vibes. Lots of machines and the classes have all the weights, mata, bands and steps for class. Facility is super crowded, maybe it's always like that or it might be due to the new year. Regardless, I was able to get in at multiple locations and various classes and didn't feel too crowded. I really enjoy a gym that is full of energy. It was a little difficult getting signed up but I flagged someone down and politely asked to get assistance. It was quick once I did that. Their app is easy to manuever. Parking is difficult at all 3 locations that I went to but again, not sure if it's new year or not, I know to get there early. read more

I started with the 7-day pass and used that time to really explore the entire gym. During my walkthrough and getting familiar with the facility, I worked with Hailey (or Baylee I believe that was her name), and she was pretty amazing. Super helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I'd give her 4 stars on her own. As for the gym itself, the facility is very nice and has great amenities. I believe they're currently running a promotion where the highest membership package is around $.26, which is a really good deal considering everything that's included. The amenities are impressive(not gonna lie) there's a theater where you can do cardio while watching a movie, wet sauna, cold plunge pools, dry sauna, and more. The overall atmosphere is clean and well-maintained. The locker rooms and restrooms are spotless, and you can definitely tell this is a brand-new facility in an old movie theatre. Overall, EOS Fitness on Highway 6 offers a clean, modern environment with plenty of amenities that make working out enjoyable. A solid option if you're looking for a new gym in the area. read more

I visited here with my friend RonS for their grand opening day. He has been really hyping this place up and I defiantly can see why. I love that they offer specialty rooms that are uniquely designed. The treadmills are placed in a theater theme like room where you can definitely watch a film on the big screen. The BBL room with the peaches on the wall is designed to target everything for your glutes... and the section where you can push and pull the weights usually athletes utilize this equipment. This gym definitely open up its options and set a new bar to reach. It would've been nice to have some type of swag for the members who made the commitment prior to opening day. Giving a signature Tee, or a water bottle means so much for someone who supports your company, prior to utilizing it. I love getting small keepsake gifts. read more

First off this is not an enrollment center this is an actual gym, and here is my story there. I started working out here in December. I chose this place becuase they offered me a $1 sign up fee. As it turns it it was $45 but I let that slide because I felt the place had some potential. During the sign up process they introduced me to one of the trainers there who worked with me and convinced me to sign up for the trainer service. I will say I wasn't overly excited that it was a four month commitment but I went along with it as a start. At the end of the four moinths I inquired at the front desk when that time would be up and that was when i was informed that I would have to give 30 days notice to terminate the service and since I didn't I would have to pay for an additional month. I explained to the young man that he needed to cancel every thing with me, both the trainer service and my membership. I would not return and I will dispiute any charges they make to my bank accoiunt. I will say I was a bit appaled by the lack of interest in offering any custromer service, but when your business model is nefarious perhaps that is to be expected. This place certainly brings buyer beware to the surface. The hard part is it's difficult to read the fine print when you don't know it exists. read more

No management to help when needed instead of them answering the question the PT manager just send his worker back and forth would not give me the time to just talk to him. Recently joined EoS Fitness at the Hwy 6/West Road location. They charge a monthly fee for their top level membership of 32.65 a month plus an annual charge every year of $65 even though it is month to month and require 30 days notice to terminate the membership (want to quit this month - you still have to pay for next month). I joined because it was the newest facility in the area and the pricing was competitive compared to other gyms in the area. It is impossible to just book one or two sessions with a trainer - you have to book a 6 month package with 2 sessions a week which is exorbitantly priced and very difficult to terminate the contract ( as a couple of club members told me they were charged for another 6 months after terminating after their contracts that it turns out are not with EoS but a third party provider). The facility is extremely crowded all of the time due to the availability of a $9 a month limited membership. The locker rooms are not kept very clean, but it's more of an issue of the clientele not utilizing garbage cans or cleaning up after themselves. People don't use the lockers in the locker rooms and leave their crap spread out all over the counters designed for you to use a mirror and dry your hair. The jets have not worked in the whirlpool for the 2 months I have been a member and they don't clean or keep adequate levels of sanitizer (required health regulations in their whirlpool or plunge pool). The water has been foamy and cloudy every time I've been there causing me to not use those amenities which I am paying extra to have access to. I have complained to management multiple times but the situation has not been remedied. The location is in a what was formerly a Studio Movie Tavern and 2 people have been killed in that parking lot in the past (one of them was a HC constable), yet 5 of the parking lot light towers are dead and I was told that fixing them was up to the property management (2 months now and no fix). This is a 24 hour facility so they're setting themselves up for a lawsuit when something happens to someone again in the dark parking lot. All that said, the staff is friendly. The equipment is new, and the group classes have terrific instructors. If they could just maintain the wet areas better, keep the lockers rooms clean, and get the parking lot lighting working- it would be a great gym. read more

At first I loved all the amenities. Now I can't say the same. The hot tub is always broke ! The water never looks clean and the jets dont work. I've mentioned this multiple times to the gym managers and nothing gets done. They will say its working when really it isnt. Disappointed read more

personal training sessions are a ripoff on lock katrine & hwy 6 (77084) eos employees push you to get the package, and once you get it, they tell you they are not affiliated with the training department. i got charged on my card 4 times before even completing one session. then to cancel it takes 4 months. they still charge while you wait four months. so, i went in today to cancel, and the lever manager for personal training dept told me it is 4 months before the cancel goes through. what happen to federal trade commission? they are a scam. don't sign up. whatever you do. they will charge your card non-stop before your sessions are even started. the sessions are a joke too--20 minutes of nothing. read more

AVOID THIS LOCATION - EOS Fitness (8505 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX) is a bait-and-switch nightmare If you're considering EOS, steer clear of the Hwy 6 N store. What they advertise and what you actually get are two different things. Here's the hard truth so you don't waste your money: 1 Broken "premium" equipment for months Cold plunge has been DOWN for 60-75+ days and counting. No ETA, no refund, no accountability. Leg compression sleeves: Started with 10 sets; now only 3 work. Manager admits zippers fail but "new ones are coming", they never do. Expect long waits and frustration. 2 Age policy makes zero sense and is enforced like a police state 13-year-olds can BUY a membership but CAN'T enter as a guest until 16. No data, no logic, just an arbitrary rule that punishes families. Staff will demand birth certificates if your teen "looks young," even if they're 16 and you're supervising. My developmentally delayed son was interrogated; my daughters never were. This isn't policy it's profiling. 3 Management doesn't care apparently excuses are more important than solutions. Contract fine print is their shield: "equipment may be unavailable." Translation: pay full price for half the gym. Bottom line: You're sold a "luxury" recovery gym, but you get broken toys, discriminatory gatekeeping, and zero recourse. Drive the extra miles to any other Houston EOS this one is a scam in workout clothes. read more
