April was our instructor and we had a small class of 4 people. Classes are held in the pool. I was a little scared of falling in the water and everyone did at one point but we mostly stayed on the boards doing the various yoga poses. The class was about 50 minutes long and very well worth the cost of 45.00. We were able to tighten the tether to keep the boards from shifting so much during class. They offer other dates and times and also Pilates.

I had reserved a court to practice alone with my ball machine, positioned so it would not bother anyone. A staff member named Keith came over and, instead of calmly explaining any concern, shouted at me from across the courts and threatened to kick me out if I did not move it within ten seconds, even though I have brought this same equipment in before with no issue and was not aware of any policy against it. There was no attempt to explain things professionally, just ultimatums. I filed a formal complaint with management, but I think other members should know this happened, since I do not think this reflects how staff should treat paying customers.

There was another person swimming but the man present didn't like women or I don't know but he told me "it's closed" and didn't give me an explanation. I question and shared how I REALLY need to stretch I'm in pain and it's supposed to be open another 40 minutes on schedule and there is clearly another person swimming in front of us, so how can it be closed? He just yelled at me and still didn't tell me why. I have no idea who or why he was there. Cane other days when pool was support he open and they had signs saying closed" when it was supposed to be open. They don't really have a good amount of machines other than tons of treadmills compared to LA fitness. And as others mentioned they stay broken a long time. But I need to work my back and don't use free weights. The hot sauna was broken for MONTHS! And was so unclean inside. I couldn't believe I had been sitting in there. But I'm sure it was due to the lady exfoliating herself and no one cleaning it! It makes me want to vomit thinking of it. I wanted a water yoga class but they didn't have evening classes for me. Only during the day when I couldn't go. For a large expensive place it makes no sense they could not hire for evening classes. Kids area-while I don't trust anyone to watch my kids personally, my best friend had a terrible experience there. Other kids would bully her kids and staff didn't seem to care. She could only take her kids a set limited time during the day so too bad if you can't make that block of time despite the fact you pay twice as much to bring kids you can literally only go when they say you can because pools and splash pads for kids aren't open or are closed constantly. The last straw was her son was arguing with his sibling as siblings do, but it was handled terribly. Instead of going to get her if there was indeed a problem , the staff dragged him down the hallway and when he thought he was out of sight, she saw him throw him on the ground. She happened to have come down for pick up at the time and was following them wondering why he had her son down a secluded hallway alone, He didn't apologize or anything. Terrible way of handling a child.

They also had a full spin room several exercise classrooms as well as several racquetball courts. They also had a cross training area that allows for ropes weights on a sled where you could push or pull and a full cross training pull-up area. The staff didn't really say hello upon entering or goodbye upon exiting and they're not as welcoming, but I'm OK with that.

Welp we have a new gym! Of sorts…read more The positives, they got rid of the basketball court! The bad news, they got rid of the freemotion machines that I loved so much. Among some others that were fan favorites. Now to the review! They replaced a lot of the life fitness machines with hoist and matrix. Probably my two least favorite manufacturers of gum equipment around but the fact the old basketball court is all rogue power racks, makes up for it. They also removed the whole front area for a artificial turf training area. While this space is wasted on me, I'm sure there will be tens of people who use it. Poor use of space LA fitness. Now dumbbells? It's a entire back wall of weights. More than you know what to do with. They also added more benches which was desperately needed. Overall a big win. Their cardio machines? They need some love. I'm shocked they didn't replace them all, most of them are rusted with sweat residue and are need of replacing. Or repainting. Your call. But the cardio machines work, so there's that. I frequent a lot of gyms in the area and this one being so new will keep my attention for a while. Over all 7/10.

My experience is yet another example of their blatant disregard for decency: me and my wife were slapped with a bogus enrollment fee when we downgraded our memberships this is a transparent scam to pad their quotas. My contract makes no mention of these fabricated fees, and the email I received was worded like I was a new member. This is deception, plain and simple. Legally, all fees must be explicitly spelled out in the contract, but EOS chooses to operate in the shadows, relying on misinformation & intimidation. We go to the EOS Gym at 22314 FM 529 in Cypress, TX began 2/26/25, it's clear they thrive on squeezing every dollar from members through whatever underhanded tactic they can get away with. Their General Manager of Sales, Jerimiah, couldn't even be bothered to address my wife's first attempt to downgrade he dismissed her outright, hiding behind an excuse about testing an employee asking her to come back another day. When she returned on 8/31/26, to downgrade, she was told a $49 downgrade fee would be applied ($53.04 with tax), which isn't in our contract. When asked for clarification, he replied, "That's the way we do it here." This is predatory, unapologetic, is infuriating. Jerimiah didn't even know what card was on file. This gym treats its members like prey, not customers. Later that day I noticed a charge on my credit card ending in 0381 for my wife's downgrade. This is outright incompetence or worse, deliberate fraud, since she pays for both memberships with her card. How can he charge my card without authorization. This circus of errors & deceit is what EOS represents. Their reputation for shady, dishonest practices is well-earned. Anyone considering this gym should be warned: EOS will do whatever it takes to extract more money from you, no matter how unethical.

They have more power racks that I could imagine, new weights, new machines, new everything. Staff are beyond helpful and nice. I used my insurance to sign up here and it took just a couple minutes. It wasn't busy by other gym standards. Got on every machine that I wanted to easily. What I don't like, their lack of ab machines. I could only see one. And that was fairly popular so got on it late. Past that. Great new little gym here. Will be coming back this week, for sure!

They do this on purpose to make coming here a hassle so you'll give up on using the final month you already paid for. Charging full price for top-tier VIP service and then deliberately crippling your access is wildly unethical.
