5 stars for this location. The front desk people are friendly, and the classes here are fun. My favorite classes are Upbeat Lift on Monday mornings, and BodyBalance and BodyJam on Wednesdays! I would love it if they added more BodyBalance classes maybe on a Friday at 10. Also Yoga later in the day would be amazing! I also found this gym via 7 day trial and wasn't pressured to sign up for any membership here. I feel like this location isn't super pressuring which I really like. There are a few other EōS locations that do pressure which is a huge turn off. This location does a good job of offering what's available (supplement sales for example) but not standing over me waiting for me to buy a bunch of them. Haven't had any issues with billing so far. Hopefully I won't. I'm keeping an eye on it just in case, but so far so good. read more

bsolutely terrible experience. I went into this location a month ago just to ask about a day pass. When I found out how expensive it was, I explicitly said "never mind" and walked out. I never signed up for a membership or used their facilities. Fast forward a month later, and in the middle of the night, they suddenly charged my card a random $100 bill for God knows what. This place feels completely predatory, dishonest, and to top it all off, the facility itself looked absolutely nasty when I visited. total chaos, beeing run by teenagers. Zero stars was not an option... After not being able to view the membership information online, my wife and I decided to venture in for an eyes on evaluation. We are both disabled and looking to rehabilitate ourselves as much as possible. Upon arriving my wife was told to enter her information at a nearby terminal. The current location was due to move into a larger space at the end of the month, so this seemed like a great time to join. After having a "Tour" of the location we looked over the membership information with a young man named "Keaton". We liked everything but needed to go, so we asked for his card. He returned with a younger gentleman, and this is where they lost us. Since my wife already volunteered her information, they had "proof" we were there - so if we did not sign up TODAY, the great introductory offer went from ONE DOLLAR to FIFTY DOLLARS!? Instead of honest upfront communication, we received underhanded sneaky sales BS. If they'll pull that garbage at the door, they'll con you at every turn. So let's start with their biggest problem billing. If you are reading this and are a member I hope you are watching what they are charging. Let's start with where we went wrong. We switched my family from 6 individual plans to their new family plan and that's where this all goes south. Not only did they mess up the monthly amount but they weren't supposed to charge the annual fee for one year so they start by charging me double the monthly rate 2 times in one month. Then they start billing my credit card $88 a week for a personal trainer I didn't sign up for. When they were contacted about the problem I got the standard customer service answer of I'm so sorry we will get it taken care of.........followed by the same comment the next week........and the next week. Multiple phone calls, manger still to this day has only called me back once. Phone calls to district manager finally someone who got part of the issue solved or so I thought until today when I get a bill in the mail.........also stopped all payments with my card on file which they still try and run every couple days. At this point my next step is guess will have to be file a police report for credit card fraud. 3rd party billing says they can't stop it or change the amount as it is all done at the store level. Sad part is it's a decent facility, older equipment could use newer and updated stuff like they have at other locations but hopefully for members the new building is better. Also hope that in the new facility they get people and management in place that are really able to and willing to do their jobs and get customers taken care of. Will this review change anything for them probably not but hopefully if they truly want to be a better facility it does and they make the necessary changes. Up date got a reply and a phone call saying it would be handled 6 months ago........ but wouldn't you know it they dropped the ball again and I got a call from a collection agency saying EOS billing company ABC billing had sent them my out standing balance to collect on.... read more

My wife and I were in town for our daughter's wedding and needed to get some workouts in leading up to the wedding. My Daughter and her husband to- be, suggested we try their gym EOS- Syracuse. Boy were we happy we followed their suggestion. When we first walked through the door we were happy to find the facility was spotless. We were immediately welcomed into the gym by Keaton and Rylan. They explained the EOS Fitness goals for customer service and asked how they could help us reach our fitness goals. After spending some time with us ensuring we understood the equipment and could safely use it. They welcomed us in for a workout. I can only hope that EOS expands to the Metro Atlanta area as they have gained a fan. Keaton and Rylan should be sought out when visiting EOS Syracuse and should be commended as Great Ambassadors for the EOS Fitness Brand. Thanks Guys for a great experience. read more

The staff and members here are great and the gym is clean, but this location desperately needs a face lift. Bright side, the gym was pretty empty. It's nice to go to a gym that isn't crazy crowded. I can also always find kid care reservations here. The downside, there's not enough actual weightlifting equipment. Most of the gyms nearby have expanded their areas to have multiple deadlift platforms, power racks, bumper plates, etc and this place doesn't have that. There's only two squat racks and one awkward deadlift platform in the corner. Dumbbells only go up to 100 so my husband wouldn't be able to do chest here. On the flip side, I missed seeing the smaller dumbbell increments that help me progressively overload my muscles (7.5, 12.5, 17.5, 22.5, etc). Jumping from 5 to 10 on some smaller isolation movements feels huge so I love that the other eos provide more weight ranges. The gym is small so I understand there isn't the space for all of this like the Ogden and Roy location, but I do hope they look at making some small upgrades to meet lifters needs. read more

Sorry to report an unfortunate experience. I've never wrote a negative review, especially in my own community. EŌS is has just gone big corporate with no ability for local leaders to give good customer services. My daughter cancelled her membership when she left on her church mission 6 months ago and they were still charging her. In addition my other daughter (a minor) got an annual charge in excess of $70 and they wouldn't even adjust her membership level to reduce it on the same day they charged it. Per local manager Kaden Garecht "he has no ability to make adjustments for customers on charges" even though these annual charges are sold to save your fee levels for future business!! Sad to report I cancelled our entire family's memberships today. Sad that companies have lost that customer service vision and will lose future paying long term customers (over 15 years) over a few simple charges that could/should easily be adjusted. read more

I don't write Yelp reviews but my experience here wasn't great. I signed up for a free trial and was immediately pressured into buying a membership. After repeatedly saying I couldn't afford anything extra, Colby still insisted on trying to suck as much money out of me as possible. If you're going to try a free trial, know you'll be sat down for 45 minutes and pressured into spending as much of your money as possible. read more

Taylor was very knowledgeable on the gym and the programs available, she signed me up with a great deal. This gym is on the smaller side of things but the reason we stay at this gym is because of the kids club. My kids are young so it isn't easy finding sitters all the time. I love that they have the kids club so I can bring my kids and workout. The great thing is that my kids love it and the girls that run it. It is great to feel comfortable with who is watching my kids. The girls here are wonderful and so nice. We also love Manda and Chloe they are wonderful and go above and beyond. read more

Nice fitness facilities. However, experienced high pressure to sign up for an extensive and expensive personal training program. High pressure sales technique. When trying to cancel within the allotted time, this operation did not follow through, but continued to charge me for services that they were not providing and knew that I did not wish. very frustrating and eventually had to report fraud and change my credit card read more

EoS Fitness has been great. All of the employees are friendly and courteous. The gym is always clean and pretty well maintained. I had a situation where my Visa card was stolen so my EoS account couldn't charge resulting in some fees. However, when I came in and spoke with the manager, Andreas, he was overly helpful and took care of the unnecessary fees. Calvin was working the desk and he was awesome as well. Great people. This gym is perfect for my needs. They have a great facility (going to be even better when the new location is built) and great options for group classes. I wish they had evening High classes, though. I have a personal trainer, Savannah, who is awesome. She does a great job of demonstrating the movements. I hadn't been to EOS Fitness before, but came in to this branch beacuse I used to use a Gold's Gym in the same location. The people at EOS were so kind! The facility is very clean, and the equipment is in great shape. Also, they were so generous in offering me a week free pass to try it out. Next rainy day, when I need an indoor workout, I am going to head up to their Ogden location where I was told they have an even bigger facility with a running track. read more

The Covid precautions are not taken. No masks being worn by the gym members. No temperature being taken. I would understand if it were a larger gym with more space. But, many people are working out within arms reach of each other. I hope everyone stays safe. read more

Super pissed when signing up for the family plan was told as kids get older and don't qualify for membership that the younger ones as they got older could replace those memberships.
