I've been a member here for 5-6 years and today confirmed I'm done. I had a scheduled daycare appointment for my son at 9:30am so I could get my workout in. We showed up right on time, went through our normal routine, and the staff member at the door physically stopped us from coming in, saying they were "at capacity" despite the appointment. When I said I had a scheduled spot, she basically told me that wasn't her problem. No solution offered, no apology. Right after I left, I got an email confirming the appointment had been canceled, so either their system failed and she didn't know, or it was canceled after the fact to cover it. This isn't the first time. In recent months I've been stopped multiple times while already mid-workout - once already on a machine - by staff who came up to me telling me I had to scan my barcode even thought I already had, like they were suspicious whether I was even a member, like I needed to prove I belonged there. Six years as a member and I'm treated like someone sneaking in off the street. If you're going to require appointments for daycare, then honor them. Turning away a kid whose mom booked ahead and showed up on time is a failure on every level. To make it worse, canceling my membership has been its own ordeal, phone lines claiming I'm calling outside business hours during posted hours, an online cancellation form that locks you out with a broken login, and when I went in person to cancel, they still wouldn't refund the annual fee I was charged just three days before all of this happened. Six years. Won't be back. If you're considering this location for daycare-dependent workouts, don't count on it. read more

Honestly this gym has made a ton of improvements and I appreciate it a lot and I think the regulars do too. HOWEVER, EOS- please take over the old At Home Building and make another gym. This guy is so full it's not even funny. It's not a good experience having to wait in a line for a machine because there is just one most of the time or two machines if we are lucky. The Gym staff is very friendly and the manager is all about ensuring that they are providing the services they claim to . My Personal Trainer , Jayson Shipley is an outstanding trainer, he actually shaped my workouts around exactly what I desired. I am seeing the results of what I asked him to do , he has the answers to the why when I ask , He helped me get some accessories to help my workouts be even better, very safety oriented when showing you the movements and always ask how you are feeling before workouts, responds during workout questions I am having when I am not training with him . I purchased my membership believing I could swim laps without worrying about kids peeing, pooping and other disgusting things in the pool. Nope. Eos decided that $5k each month was more important than members using the pool. They brought in a swimming group. So now you can't swim after work or on Sundays OR this Sunday afternoon because a kid vomited in the pool. Graciously they closed the pool for cleaning. Spectacular, but you wouldn't have had to, if you left swimming lessons to the Rec Center where they belong. I DO NOT recommend this gym if you plan to use the pool. They don't even put the hours of lesson on their schedule. Why? At least then we have a chance of avoiding the actual lessons, but not the vomit and poop cleaning. Again, wouldn't have to be done if they left lessons to the rec center. Who does a very good job at them. They also offered me a free training session. Set it up for Saturday at 8am. No one showed. Someone replied to my text and said they don't know what happened and can I reschedule. You can't show up and don't give any notice and you want me to reschedule? Brilliant - NOT. I submitted a complaint online. It says someone will respond in 24 hours. That was four days ago and still no response. Submitted another online complaint today. I don't expect a response because they obviously don't care about members. I'm sorry I chose this place. read more

I signed up in February, and they have been charging me for personal training even though I wasn't even supposed to be signed up. They have been charging me biweekly for $88 and when I have requested a refund they insisted that I have been scammed (I checked with my bank, the charges are coming from EOS). Been coming for officially a week now, and have tried only about 1/6th of the equipment! If you're looking for a clean gym with nice equipment, excellent customer service (shout out of my main girl Taylor for hooking me up and Jed for showing me some new exercises), with workout classes, a pool, a movie theater room, lockers and saunas--look no further. Prices are very fair, ranging between $10-$25/month with different membership levels and start up fees. Check out their free 7-day trial if you're still hesitant though! Protein cookies/bars are available for purchase once you've finished getting your swole on. Hydro massage beds for added relaxation after your 20 mile fun run. Towel service for those sweaty days. Free lockers for the twelve jackets you wear into the gym on those bitter cold days. TIPS & TRICKS: * Have your phone charged and ready, that's your pal at this gym. Super sad how downhill this location has gone from when I first joined. The gym simply is too busy for any hour of day that works for me anymore, I don't enjoy going almost any hour of day...I've seen a full blown fights break out all in front of the dumbbell weight racks before. The distaste in my mouth has slowly grown as it's gotten more popularized. Great equipment though, this location probably has the most potential out of all of them which is probably why maybe it's favored by so many....but they make it way too difficult to cancel your membership or ever get refunded for yet another month. Employees often are helpless and not enabled to help you in these situations. They need to put the subscription billing in the app so it's easier and accessible for customers to update their billing info and subscription settings...it would save everyone a headache. If it was easier to downgrade my membership too maybe I wouldn't have canceled. read more

I love EoS Fitness. I have tried many gyms over the years and this is the only one where I feel I can find everything I need at any time. The place is so big, even at its busiest I can find the machine or weights I want to use...not possible at other smaller over crowded gyms. Plus, they have the best personal training staff! Rick is the best trainer...truly has transformed my fitness capabilities and challenges me every workout. I also love the classes and have recently started doing HIIT classes. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the Sauna often is down. read more

Be prepared for winter weather inside this gym. I bring a hoodie. They don't do hot yoga or even warm yoga here. It's fan-cooled yoga. Seems to be popular with some people though. I skip it. They charged us AGAIN! We're no longer Members of this gym, and we're getting charged for? Well after my last updated review and an email to the Corporate office, a manager called me and apologized for the newest charges. He claimed that he had no idea why we're being charged. He even promised to get us a refund for Everything. He told me that he would text me his email address and asked me to provide a list of ALL transactions from my bank. Well I've never heard from him. When we were charged again, I tried calling the manager. No one answered my calls. This is the 3rd time that they have charged us and like I said before, we're no longer members of the gym. I'm so tired of this manager a company. My advice to those seeking a nice gym is to look somewhere else. I firmly believe that this gym would be a waste of your time and money. They have a friendly staff that's running around during prime time cleaning and sanitizing, which given Covid is a welcome sight. The functional area is YUGE and well equipped. Run of the mill budget gym. Almost never a time that it isn't crowded. The business model seems simple - cram as many members into one gym as possible with as little regard to capacity as manageable. It's mostly crowds of high schoolers standing around not using the equipment. When they are lifting though, you'll likely be in the background of them filming their workouts. Wads of hair are everywhere, so never do a workout on the turf by the free weights. Bathrooms and sauna are also pretty gross. But again, it's a cheap gym and you get what you pay for. read more

Used to love going there. But had to cancel my wife and I's membership for personal reasons. I checked twice on different days after that to make sure my cancellation request was in and they assured me it was pending. My wife's membership got canceled but somehow I still got charged. I let the first charge afterwards go since they said there was a 30 day cancellation notice. That was in April. In May I received another charge which I got the bank to reverse. I received yet another charge in June together with a $40 plus charge for late fees which the bank did not reverse. Seems like an occurring thing according to friends who used to go there as well. Only after I called their financial department was I able to complete my membership cancellation. But I only found their number when they reached out to me about my charges getting denied by the bank. Front desk was useless during this process. read more

So for some reason the employees like to call me the "EōS mascot" and I hope by the end of this review you know why. Just remember the number 49. It all started back in June ish 2020. I walk into the trailer and get a membership and personal training.... that's when my life changed and I was gives the opportunity to learn how important fitness is to me. Today, I have been training with my trainer for several months now. (I had to freeze for a few months due to work) I am the biggest I have ever been!!! 185lbs and growing! I have not only learned about how fitness and the body function and work but how to help me accomplish my goals. Yeah some of it is me saying I had enough after a domestic violence situation where I was so low and afraid. Now I hold my head up high and EōS has played a huge role in it. So first off, the facility is fabulous!!!! Yes some minor things recently have been neglected (missing clamps, Basketball needles breaking and not getting replaced, sauna being out of order for so long due to electrical issues at time of building) because some of their best employees moved in to bigger and better things to which I say good luck to them! And some of the stuff isn't anyone's fault like the electrical system. But seriously.... THIS PLACE IS SO CLEAN, FRESH, NEW, and HUUUUGE!!! I made my brother jealous cuz he has a small little gym in Idaho. Yeah I flexed but how couldn't I!?! This place is amazing. So amazing and clean that yes. I walk in the Locker room with bare feet. (What! I am an Idaho kid!) but seriously. The showers, bathrooms, lockers, everything is fresh and clean. Especially with the virus craziness it's nice to know EōS everyday is this clean with or with out it. The equipment is amazing and new and ALWAYS WORKING! (Expect for the sauna but I know that's a long and complicated story that unfortunately no one can really help other than getting the budget and crew in there to fix it which is hard as is) but seriously!!!! It's so nice to have good equipment there that is nicely organized. Highly detailed and designed and kept new. Seriously, if you aren't convinced yet then listen to this. I have gone from hating the gym to loving and referring everyone to the gym. Even if I met them online that day I invite them to come see EōS for themselves. That hard work has paid off. I have 49 active (soon to be 50) referrals for a grand total of 9 (almost 10) FREE YEARS AT EōS. SAY WHAAAAAT! A gym that gives you free years by referring 5 members to the gym. Like who the heck does that nowadays! Oh btw. Get the towel service. You will thank me later. I love having fresh and clean towels when ever I want! Simply can my code and get the towels I need. Seriously. Spend the extra $$ you will again thank me later. Now, EōS wouldn't be a great gym if it didn't have the staff that it does. I LOVE EVERY SINGLE PERSON THERE! I have become friends with so many people at this gym. David. Matt. Charlie. Tanner. Coltin. John. These people all care about me and care about others and want them to achieve their fitness goals. Sarah the Wednesday night Zumba instructor is my new best friend! Seriously Zumba is so much fun with her! I looooove and look forward to my Wednesday nights all cuz of Zumba. The classes at EōS are so much fun and worth going to! So all in all. I love this gym. I am the EōS mascot. And I forever will be grateful for this place being a safe place for me to come and work out and get away for a little while when I needed it too. I needed to put my membership on hold due to a family situation. 1. They charged me for the month it was put on hold. 2. When they promised me I wouldn't be charged a monthly fee while on hold, I was charged. They said my request for not getting charged was denied, but no one called me. They said they could put in a second request and write the reasons in a better way. Why didn't they do this the first time or call me when there was a problem? 3. When I complained they did NOT reverse the charge, but said it was the one month fee for quitting. *cough* I'd already been charged for a month I didn't get to use, and they told me no charges would be issued. It was like talking to a brick wall at that point because I wanted out of the contract - I don't have time to monitor their shenanigans with taking money out of my account. I ended up being very unhappy with their billing department and management for customer service. The gym itself is fine as far as gyms go. Because of their extra billing issues, I basically paid $80 for the membership and one month of use. From my point of view, that was $80 for one month of actual usage. If you're going to charge people monthly memberships make sure your facilities are open and operational- 3 times in less than a month of being a member sauna has been down. Either credit members for your shortcomings or keep facilities open and functional. It should not take 5 days to fix the sauna. read more

Very long story. Their staff is unprofessional in handling double charges and membership issues. They don't have the knowledge in fixing issues that were on their end. We called several times and went in, but the "right" person who they said should assist us was never in and they said that this manager would call us, but never did. Still a very long story in trying to get someone to call us or help us. Because of this unprofessionalism, I won't return and we canceled our other memberships. So very sad. EOS was not skilled in assisting us and they do not have corporate assistance number to call. They do not have a way of fixing issues with billing and the staff at the Bountiful location lack the knowledge in fixing membership/billing issues and lack customer service. So very strange that they wouldn't Call us. If you notice double charges and the wrong plan (we signed up for promotion, but never realized that they were double charging our account and they were charging double the cost of their top plan and we keep trying to get that fixed. No one would call, and our account went to collections. We cancelled so we could go together at another gym. Oh almost forgot.... When we canceled they said they we wouldn't be charged a fee ... they charged us. read more

I went to cancel my membership. The guy up front said that I had to pay monthly fee ahead (fine) but I also had to pay the annual maintenance fee even if I canceled my membership and had to give notice to cancel 30 days ago to not pay the month ahead. So I'm out $160 paying for services that I tried to cancel. The guys up front were argumentative and I was never given a reason for the 30 day notice and why I still have to pay an annual fee when I won't have the services. The guys made it easy to decide to cancel the membership. Also, they told me that they couldn't email a confirmation of the cancelation; which I see other have said the same thing and we will see if they actually cancel things. The only helpful thing the guy did was naming their managers (Taylor and Justin). Worst experience ever and quite traumatizing. read more
