Well... Today is 4-28-2026. Of the ammentities: pool, jacuzzi, steam room and dry sauna, ONLY the dry sauna is working now! It's been this way for at least a month and there is no evidence of anyone doing anything to repair any of it. I wish I could say this is unusual for this location, but it's not. Ive stayed with the EOS membership because they have a good yoga class. I joined VASA in Ogden (in addition to EOS) so that I could swim a couple of times a week-VASA's amenities are rarely out of service, I saw the steam room down for one day, once. EOS was doing better...For about 6 months none of the stuff in the pool area was broken. So, I quit VASA. A couple of months later, it's just as bad or worse than it was before! I halfway suspect that they just don't want to pay the (heating) utilities so they just turn stuff off! read more

Now they're sending me harassing emails and calling me day after day, attempting to make surreptitious charges to my card in the dead of night and now threatening to send me to collections for payments that I have proof I already paid. All for a gym that I went to ONE TIME. The atmosphere is so unwelcoming if you're not a gym bro or a lululemon girl. Dirty, run down facility. Spiraled downhill after EŌS took over from Golds Gym. My husband and I pretty much use the pool area exclusively because of his physical disabilities. The pool and spa are constantly closed due to broken parts, etc. I got an email earlier this month saying the pool/sauna were closed temporarily and we would be notified (by manager Jori) when it was available again. I promptly replied to find out if we could be given some sort of compensation, because this has been a common occurrence and also the hot tub has been out of order for months. After a week or so, I was told by a water aerobics instructor that the pool was open. I emailed Jori again to see if he had gotten my previous email. Both emails remain unanswered. Basically, we've gone to the pool once this month. That's a pricy visit based on the monthly fee. I've still had no contact from the manager, so I called again to see if I could be connected to Jori. He's never available. The woman who answered the phone asked what it was in reference to and then said she was the assistant manager and could help me. I explained about the broken equipment and overall filthiness of the facility and that no one had gotten back with me. She asked if she could call me back. When she called back, there really wasn't a satisfactory resolution, so I asked her to just cancel my membership. She said I had to come in to do that. She said they've had problems where people called in and cancelled another member's contract. Clearly, she called me back on my phone that is tied to my contract, so that's flimsy reasoning. I'm extremely sick this week and explained I can't come in, but wanted it taken care of before another payment was debited from my credit union account. She said that cancellations must be done 30 days in advance. So I asked her to just put a membership freeze on my account until I could come in again. This is $5 a month, plus I'll still be charged full price for the coming month because I didn't notify them 30 days in advance. Seems like a racket to me. I've been a member for years, and I joined under a corporate membership from my employer. When the Gold's representatives came in, we were told that it was a month by months contract, and we could cancel at any time. Occasionally, a survey will be sent out. I've replied that the water aerobics instructors were great but that the overall cleanliness was terrible. I gave examples of telling front line and management staff about a wad of gum that had been stuck to a hook on the back of the dressing room. It remained for months. Finally (MONTHS later), someone scraped it off - mostly. The residual remains months later. The same hairballs and garbage remain in showers and changing rooms day after day. Many of ladies who take the water aerobics classes bring their own Lysol wipes because everything is so gross. The back door from the parking terrace is constantly filthy - this is the first thing their customers see. They painted the door a month or two ago, which looked great for a day or two, but now it's perpetually grimy again. Someone etched "wash me" into the grime and it remained for more than a week before it was cleaned. The plastic cover to one of the ceiling lights in the shower room hung precariously for months and wasn't attended to until it finally fell, shattering and nearly missing a patron. My recommendation would be to join a newer, better maintained gym that has a cleaning crew and responsive management. read more

My new found gym. Since relocating to Ogden from Pennsylvania I found EOS to cal my new home away from home. Fitness has always been huge in my life coming from a military background we always need to be fit. I used to go to golds gym a lot however this gym has everything and then some regarding equipment. My main focus is gym equipment and this gym has all the necessary equipment to target every aspect of your muscle groups. The staff is awesome and friendly and the crowd and locals are also awesome and friendly. There is also plenty of parking which is more than I can say for my previous gym. There is a lot of awesome perks to this gym however my only interest is the weights. They also have a child care which is perfect for my kiddos however we have not got to experience the child care yet due to the current covid conditions and it being closed at the moment. read more

This EOS in Ogden is the worst gym I've ever been to. I have been going to this gym since they opened. It was well run and clean with the previous ownership. Now everything is broken, the locker rooms are downright gross. The showers rarely get cleaned and there are boogers and mold in them. The hot water is turned off quite often, which poses a problem when your routine is to go to work straight from the gym. There is always 3 or 4 employees just standing behind the counter. Why are they not at least cleaning??? Poor management to say the least. Homeless people have been seen walking straight to the pool area so they can take a nice hot bath in the hot tub!! They ripped me off!!! ​I've been going to this gym for about 6 to 8 months now and I got my niece a gym membership as well because she was in training. I also got my niece a personal trainer which canceled on her 3 weeks in a row. I brought my niece in with me to address the issues concerning the trainer and I was told to call during the week to find out when the associate would be in that can handle this issue. I called for about a half hour straight and nobody answered the phone. Whoever works in that office is not doing their job and now I'm pissed off because I'm being ripped off. I'm canceling my membership and my niece's membership and trying to get a refund for the memberships and the trainer that I paid for. read more

I love this gym. Great vibe, great equipment, great classes. Kidscare truly changed my life once I started taking my son there at 18months. They do such a great job in there and take such good care of the kids. It changed our mornings and is something we both look forward to each day. I was/am heartbroken when EOS made the kidscare change to only children over 2. I dread when my future children come and we have to switch gyms. Kidscare is a HUGE part and if people space out their kids accordingly they will never be able to go to the gym. This affects all young parents and especially stay at home parents and single parents. This is a dealbreaker and forces us to find a different gym that will accommodate our little ones. Please look into reversing this policy. At least in Utah where people are still having babies. You are completely losing a demographic of people by this policy. read more

The pool is always very dirty. There are piles of sediment on the pool floor and along the edges and so many rust stains. Gross. It was a much cleaner facility when run by Gold's. read more

the trainers for the group classes are fantastic!! I hate that the spin bikes never work they haven't in years the instructors still do a good job to make class fun and enjoyable despite equipment that doesn't work. also they leave the heater running all the time in the cycle room and if you try and leave the door open during class the front desk makes you shut the door, I guess they would rather people get sick from the heat?? if they want the door shut either turn off the heater in that room or get them a ceiling fan. Maybe even change the class name to sauna cycle. read more

If I could give Eos a zero star review, I 100% would. I canceled my membership in March of this year, and I was charged in June, and now I am being charged $72 for some unknown reason. I have been in many times and have called and they have done nothing at all. DO NOT go to Eos. They will rip you off and charge you even after you've cancelled your membership. read more

This gym used to be Gold's Gym, but is now EoS Fitness. Completely revitalized the building as everything looks fresh and is functional. Doesn't have the mainstream feel like other gyms in the area, is less packed, and people tend to be way more friendly. Adam is a great employee who helped me set up a membership, was very informative, and was exceptional. Would highly recommend this gym due to its central location and vast array of machines for use. read more

I have been going to this gym for close to 8 years. I joined when it was still a Gold's gym. They have continued to remove equipment and not replace it. They posted 2 huge advertisements saying 500,000 dollars in gym equipment coming early March 2023. That one was take down and replaced with 500,000 dollars of equipment coming in early May 2023. They removed that one! Nothing has been upgraded and it feels like a bait and switch to increase their member numbers. The removed tanning beds and massage chairs but still charge the same. The gym is loaded with equipment "campers" that dominate benches and machines for 30 minutes or longer. Management is looking at the short term financial gains and NOT long term member retention! For 100 dollars a month for myself and family, this doesn't work any longer. Don't be pulled into a membership based on "upgrades!" They replace nothing and equipment is constantly broken. The staff is amazing Lea is such an amazing person she makes you feel like you are the only person in the room and that you could ask her anything and she would go out of her way to accomidate you. Dustin is so friendly and welcoming he remembers you by name and is such a breathe of fresh air to talk to. The equipment is always clean and is always up to date. The basketball court always has a just waxed look on the floor. The sauna and pool are always clean and i feel good about using them without worry. The garage parking is also a perk. I don't understand how this place has anything less than 5 stars. It's beautiful, clean, and has everything you could ever want or need in a gym. We were just dropping in from LA and wish we had something like this there. If you like crossfit/ power lifting, it has bumper plates and plenty of squat racks, pull-up rigs, etc. if you want machines, there are more than you will ever need. The staff is also super friendly. FALSE ADVERTISING!!! I get another junk email stating it's 1 dollar to join plus 30 days free. I'm heading back to school at the end of the month, so I figured I could pay $1 for a month at the gym. I called and they require a 30 day notice of cancellation. Perfect. I sign up and immediately turn in my notice. After talking with their representatives on the phone turns out it isn't that easy. If I were to do this, at the end of the 30 days they would charge me $75 dollars. But if I have 30 days free and you require 30 days notice, what's the issue. We can't do that, they say. This offer is really for people looking to continue coming. Why are your plans month to month then? This promo isn't meant to be used in this way. Do not go to this gym. I went to trial to try out the gym. The website says they have a 7 day free trial period. I was talked into a dollar for the month. I was told that my husband and I needed two separate accounts, instead of a family account. Cool great. Went in to workout, 12 broken machines, trash overflowing, just dirty. I went back several days later, same situation. I was told they do not have cleaning crews on weekends at all. So even on a Sunday trash was overflowing onto the floor. I told them I wanted to cancel my membership. I was told the manager was in a meeting and would reach out. A week past and no call, so my husband called. Manager is in a meeting, he will call you when he gets out. A week later he calls back, apologizes, says he has fixed about 3 machines, asked if we would give it another chance, my husband says no. After reading reviews saying they take their time calling back, and they sometimes take months to stop charging; I canceled my debit card. Sure enough, I get a call to pay my bill. My husband called back, same thing, manager is in a meeting. Moral of the story, they want to charge TWO annual fees for the two accounts that they told me to make, plus the monthly fee. 160$ to not even finish one workout. I went down the road to vasa and counted one broken machine, when I mentioned it to somebody, the machine was removed literally the next day. They also do not have an annual fee they try to charge you if you only have a membership for a week. The facility is fine and the generally the staff are doing their best. Trainer Randell is a good guy, knowledgeable.I'm not very satisfied with the Eos company, got reeled into a training contract when I specifically asked if it was limited sessions. I'm moving and needed to cancel membership and was given a number to call, after 20 minutes of being shuffled around all I accomplished was getting an email address to send my request. Almost 2 weeks later I tried again and finally got a response and am told it's 50 bucks to end the "training contract". At this point I'm waiting for further response... *update: finally got some response and the matter is settled without further issue. I signed up for a 7 day trial. They start it the day you do it online- not when you go in to use the gym so it shortened my time. After 3 visits, I was persuaded to join this gym commitment free. After a few more days of trying it out, I realized it wouldn't work. The classes are not good if you want to dance, do Zumba or fun stuff. The staff is absolutely careless and maybe working on a bonus structure? Idk they definitely do not care about you. I have had the hardest time canceling. First they say you have to give them a 30 day notice. So I did- which entitles them to charge an additional $50 to your account for the gym fee on top of your membership fees. So now almost $200 later (and over 30 days notice), I am still trying to cancel this "commitment free easy gym" for something I attended less than 7 days. Worst experience ever. I went in and spoke to Max about signing up for a membership in the beginning of the month after eating way too many Christmas cookies over the holidays. He made me feel like I was in great hands and worked with all my concerns. He showed me all around the gym and answered all my questions so I was not lost when I came back for my first workout. He even signed me up for personal training which made me feel more comfortable about getting back into the gym after some time off. So grateful for him making me feel like he actually CARED about my health and fitness journey rather than just trying to sell me on a membership like every other gym. Went in a couple of times to check it out. The place looks great , not a huge change from the Old Golds. we were really looking forward to signing up but the process was misleading and confusing. Sales person , I believe his name was Jamie, was not clear about rates, I was told on the website there was no annual fee, apparently there is, and not very clear about being able to bring a guest. They have signs on the front desk that completely contradict what he just told us in the sales meeting. I wanted to bring my daughter who is 17, but the signage said 18 years only, but he kept insisting we could. Not willing to put money down and then get told the opposite. We also on two separate occasions, watched people wander in from off the street , not check in, and work out. This is cause for concern. I have seen problems like this at other gyms, one lady had her keys stolen, had to have her car towed. Not cool. read more
