I contacted Victory Plumbing to unclog my toilet drain, bathtub drain, and fix my toilet handle…read morethat was broken. I paid about $300 for this job . After they left I was pleased with their work until I tried to flush by toilet. The handle of the toilet was loose and the mechanism inside the tank was not flushing properly. The tank continued to fill with water and then drain. I guess they just did the easy jobs.

I have now used Victory three times. Jeff is my 'go to'!…read more The first time used Victory Plumbing I needed a back-up hot water tank that had failed removed. The project required disconnecting and capping the water lines; disconnecting and capping the gas line; capping the exhaust line; and removal and disposal of the tank. Len the Plumber quoted $1100. Jeff was able to complete the job for $450. Last month, while traveling out of town, my wife called to tell me the hot water tank was leaking. I gave her Jeff's number and asked he to call him, telling him that I would be back in town in early afternoon. Jeff and his apprentice met me at 3:30pm as arranged and replaced my tank within 90 minutes. It was relief to have a professional available for an 'emergency' that I could count upon to show up on time and take care of the problem immediately. Two days ago, Jeff came out and was able to quickly diagnose and repair a small gas line leak on my fireplace within a very short period of time. His work is always neat ,efficient, and reasonably priced. Lastly, when you call the number, Jeff is the person that answers... and he always answers his phone unless both hands are in a project at that moment.

Upon arrival the owner Drew stated that the unit needed to be cleaned. Since I've never experienced a hot water heater needing to be cleaned, I questioned if this was a defect covered under the 6 year warranty. He didn't know and had to call to find out that it was indeed covered and I was entitled to a new unit. The price for install was not covered. The quote - over $2000! That was just the labor for a job that would take 2 hours MAX. When I said we would install ourselves I was then charged for an "extended" service call to the tune of $247. It was extended because he had to take the time to make the call to find out it was covered under warranty. It is not my job to educate the tech. They should know what's covered. This company is not the same honest, ethical company that the senior McDowell ran. Beware.

So I sprung a serious leak in my underground pitless adapter(It's the 90 degree elbow from the pump…read moreto the house down in the well). It kept the pump on all the time. Called Steve and he came out with Brad. While in the pouring rain they replaced the adapter with a smile on their face. I stood out there with them and he explained everything and their knowledge was spot on. It was the first time I used them (Found them though a recommendation from my water conditioning guys). I would most certainly call this company again. They were great and the price wasn't too bad either. Thanks guys!
