The work involved replacing the entire roof plus some structural repairs, and re-plastering and re-painting two rooms. Tim came over promptly, explained the repair processes and options thoroughly, and spoke with the insurance adjuster. The work the company did on the house has held up well, and the re-plastered rooms look beautiful. His crew were friendly and professional, moved all our furniture, and left the house clean. The reason for my 3-star rating is poor follow-up. At some point during the process of re-plastering and painting, a large overhead light globe disappeared, presumably broken. This was not a problem - accidents happen - but it became one, because after months of countless assurances that he would send someone over with the new globe "by the end of this week," "next week," "on Monday," "ASAP," etc., Tim did not replace the globe. In addition to this, Tim's crew had replaced a storm-damaged metal shed roof. When the shed roof started leaking, he assured me over and over that he would send someone to look at it - again specifying times like "this Thursday," or "no later than the end of this week" - but, again, he did not follow through. Simply doing what you say you are going to do is pretty basic to good business. I think these guys do good work, but just be aware. It was disappointing to have what promised to be a positive experience marred by months of frustration.
