The screens show the workout so it's nice to follow along. As someone who isn't the most experienced in fitness, I felt comfortable and there is usually a coach who will help with adjusting weights or providing modifications when needed. It's also nice that you are doing the workouts "with other people", but you have your own lane to do your own thing. I also love that they have an infrared sauna and two lanes for open gym. Talk about flexibility for our busy schedules! There's a class every 7 minutes for pretty much an entire day (even in the middle of the day), so this allows me to come whenever I have time and I will never miss a class here. Ashley, who is the owner, is the absolutely best! She made my friend and I feel so welcomed all week. We love to see a woman-owned gym and she's just an amazing person! During the week, I also got to know Keith and Myles, and they were awesome, encouraging, and really helpful. Highly recommend everyone to try this gym. They have a week trial and I got hooked after my trial and signed up!

The tv guides you what moves to do and for how long. But if you don't like it just switch it out for something else. If you have authority issues like I do because you had a traumatic childhood and sometimes when you get yelled at you freeze, but still need guiding during a workout, then this place is for you my friend! And there is usually dogs here which makes my heart so happy and is my fun reward for post workout. I will run barefoot through hot broken glass if it means I get to cuddle a puppy afterwards.

You guys, don't hesitate; run to a class! I'm currently signed up for a free week trial and I've never felt more comfortable during a (pretty intense) workout class. And feel great about myself! It's a pretty simple set up, you walk in and that one room is all. So it's not as big as other locations, but that's okay because you have all the room you need. There are cubby's for personal item and water fountains (can't remember if there is a bathroom). And then the rest is the workout floor! I recommend researching what makes F45 unique because they have so many different classes. Short and simple, the class is set up in stations and you rotate through them. So you don't have to set anything up or put anything away. There are two personal trainers walking around the room and the demonstration and timer for your station are on a screen in front of you. My biggest ehhh about F45 is that it's all on the screen..cool but I feel like it's a bit of $$$ for a less than personal interaction during my station. Also there is minimal warm up and no cool down. Would love to see a 5 min stretch incorporated. Overall, this location was so welcoming and inviting and pushed me to my limits without me unsafe. Even though your station is on the screen, the trainers were always helpful and helped with form and modifications. Loved coming here and will see what I decide after my free trial!

Luckily, we were only 10 minutes from Gym 5, and my older sister knew someone who worked there. The front desk staff was super helpful and welcoming--they made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us a quick tour. The gym's setup is fantastic! Cardio is upstairs, while everything from weights to outdoor rec and boxing setups is downstairs. I especially loved the outdoor workout space--it's such a nice touch. The gym was super clean, well-organized, and had a respectable, positive environment. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

The workouts are different every day and are fun, well-rounded combinations of calisthenics, cardio, and weighted stuff. The coaches demonstrate the exercises (plus modifications) at the start of class, so it feels doable for everyone. And if there's something you can't do, chances are you're not alone! I've been coming here for 9-ish years and have seen athletes of all levels join FFN. Some are new, some are injured, some are pregnant, all have a place. I really like how the coaches get to know each member's skill and comfort level over time--if you want to push yourself, they'll gladly help you do it (safely)! I just started going to their Barbell Club classes (strength training), which I'm not great at yet. There are people lifting HEAVY weights around me while I'm still learning form, but I feel really encouraged by them. It's been a fun new challenge! You'll get out what you put into this place. And I've got a forever-gym, great friends, and a fitness routine that supports my goals. Just come :) it'll be fun.

I don't live in Nashville, but since so many studios have made themselves available on ClassPass…read morefor virtual classes, I've been enjoying "traveling" to different cities to try different classes. One of the very first things I noticed about this local business is the fact that they included pronouns of all their instructors directly next to the class name. I thought that was so inclusive and awesome...and to be honest, I have never seen it before in any fitness or yoga class I've ever attended. It says so much to me about their values as a studio. I attended the trauma informed yoga class with Sarah via ZOOM. I really appreciated how easy the studio made it for me to find the link and that the process was seamless. Another thing that attracted me to the studio was that I was astounded with the diversity of experience, education, and the focus on mental and spiritual health that their website explained for instructors. For example, Sarah is a body positive advocate that doesn't believe in diet culture or fatphobia. She has a focus on trauma informed practices and making yoga accessible to all bodies. Her bio online says she has worked with many different organizations as a licensed master social worker. It makes a huge difference when the folks who teach trauma yoga classes actually know what they are doing versus trying to implement something they read in a book. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with the studio, even if my own computer issues did force me to have to log out early (if you're reading this Sarah, sorry about that!) If I find myself near music Row in Nashville I wouldn't hesitate to take another yoga class at this wonderful place.

As of Feb 2022, this gym is the only gym/studio in town that offers these classes and they're once a month on Sunday afternoons. The teacher was good and the class was very chill and low intensity. To attend that class, I bought 14 days for $14. As a first year teacher, I try to get my money's worth out of things so I decided to push myself out of my comfort zone and sign up for a class. The gym is a little hard to find your first time depending on where you're coming from, since it's underneath the yoga studio at street level. I came in, nervous and not knowing what to expect. I had signed up for Sweat with Jess, the owner. Sweat is a circuit class, but there's a lot of flexibility on what exercises you actually do. Jess led us in a warm up then explained the first circuit, but I must have looked like a deer in the headlights. She came up to me and quietly asked if I needed some help and I said yes please. She got me some small weights, demonstrated, then stayed with me until I got it. She was fantastic at checking in with me throughout the class in a quiet, respectful way. I've never met a class instructor like her, who was equal parts personable and professional. She was so encouraging, kind, funny, and clearly knew her stuff. It was a good workout, but I really appreciated that she told us to listen to our bodies and do what we needed. The class flew by too, which I have never said about a workout class. I've already signed up for my next class! I cant even put all the amazing things about this gym in a review, partially because my hands are sore from the kettlebell. I highly recommend checking out their website, they have a fantastic vision/ purpose.
