My focus was on the weights since I do resistance training. There are tons of different options spread across 3 floors. My biggest complaint is that it gets really busy. I've adjusted my work schedule to get there before things get too busy, but it still gets more crowded than I'd prefer. Weekend afternoons aren't bad at all though. One big pro for the Y is that you can visit any Mid-TN location. There's a location near the office so I can avoid some traffic and get a workout in there if I'm feeling it.

While validation helps, the garage itself is tight, crowded, and pretty chaotic with cars and pedestrians constantly moving around. The walk across the street to the gym can also be unpleasant when it's cold or raining. Overall though, great gym, great equipment, and a friendly staff -- definitely recommend if you're looking for a quality workout space in the Gulch.

The East Nashville Anytime Fitness took it upon themselves to transfer my membership from my "home" gym to their location. They sent me a "friendly" email "welcoming me" to their gym even though I did not ask or consent to the transfer. They then charged me $59.99 without authorization for the transfer plus some "enhancement fee." Since I did not authorize the transfer, I asked them to cancel my membership and reverse the charge. They were non responsive and I was forced to reverse the charge with my CC company. Instead of accepting that I declined the transfer (which is my right pursuant to the contract), they referred it to a debt collection agency. This is not right. Save your money and go somewhere else that isn't sleazy. p.s. Their gym smells like feet.

This gym has a wide array of cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals, bikes), strength/free weights (squat racks, plates loads, dumbbells), and even functional training elements (kettlebells, trx bands, and battle ropes). I believe they offer small group classes and personal training sessions as well, although I haven't taken advantage of those amenities. My only gripe so far is that they need a few more sets of the dumbbells (5's-15's) and a rack of straight barbells next to the EZ curled barbell rack.

After class our instructor also spent time showing the 2 new folks asking how we felt and demonstrating a move for us on the machine. The reformer machines used in studio are by far my favorite . The front low bar used for plank up/downs/ was awesome ! There's even a storage space under reformer for dumbbells , stability bar as well as other fun equipment used in class. It was nice having everything all in one space. The hands on corrections were helpful . They've got the "pit" to stash your stuff under the reformer or lockers. No showers , but bathrooms are large enough for quick changes and are stocked with amenities. They also have a separate vanity area in a shared space. The music is loud & the room has a dark club feel with fun lighting . Loved the vibe of the entire studio. Very clean. Pro tip : If you sweat as much as I do , bring a sweat towel & grip socks. Arrive 10min early . Parking is open and easy daytime and I had no issues but I'm sure evenings can be difficult due to this high traffic location , I recommend uber or Lyft when possible in evenings . I will be back ! The restroom is minimally clean and the shower is gross. The gym floor has used used machines. The down side the owner does everything via Facebook, messenger and email. That includes membership. They are out of key fobs so any new members will need to wait till they get news ones. The owner doesn't really post what's happening on social media. THey will put a note on the door when you arrive the gym. But am thankful for a gym just wish they would take more pride in the up keep especially for their members.

Here are my thoughts on the experience: 1. Cleanliness - unfortunately, this is horrible. The equipment often feels dirty, and I sometimes get black markings on my hands from touching the weights, which is quite disgusting. The men's bathroom is even worse - it's dirty, musty, and lacks proper air flow, making the experience of simply washing my hands unpleasant. I didn't even bother to look into the lockers or showers because I bet I'd be frightened with how this may be "upkept." 2. Staff interaction - for me, this has been on a minimal, as I usually just want to get in and out for my workout. From what I've seen, they seem friendly enough, but I haven't had much need to engage with them. 3. Equipment Availability - this is generally okay. Though it can get busy during peak hours. Timing your workouts outside these peak times is crucial if you want to make sure you have access to the equipment you need and wouldn't want to wait / or if you're simply in a rush. 4. Overall Experience - while the price is great, the overall experience leaves me feeling otherwise. You feel like the equipment and facilities is neglected, and it impacts the quality of your workout environment in a way. So, if cleanliness is important to you - you might reconsider your options. But if you're looking for price/budget, this is great seriously! You guys, don't hesitate; run to a class! I'm currently signed up for a free week trial and I've never felt more comfortable during a (pretty intense) workout class. And feel great about myself! It's a pretty simple set up, you walk in and that one room is all. So it's not as big as other locations, but that's okay because you have all the room you need. There are cubby's for personal item and water fountains (can't remember if there is a bathroom). And then the rest is the workout floor! I recommend researching what makes F45 unique because they have so many different classes. Short and simple, the class is set up in stations and you rotate through them. So you don't have to set anything up or put anything away. There are two personal trainers walking around the room and the demonstration and timer for your station are on a screen in front of you. My biggest ehhh about F45 is that it's all on the screen..cool but I feel like it's a bit of $$$ for a less than personal interaction during my station. Also there is minimal warm up and no cool down. Would love to see a 5 min stretch incorporated. Overall, this location was so welcoming and inviting and pushed me to my limits without me unsafe. Even though your station is on the screen, the trainers were always helpful and helped with form and modifications. Loved coming here and will see what I decide after my free trial!
