I am a member at one of the Tampa locations but I stopped in during Thanksgiving week while I was visiting family. The guest registration process was easy. I showed up to the facility about 10 minutes early and was taken care of immediately. Facility - huge compared to my home location. I was given a tour after signing up and besides the size, the facility was clean and well maintained. Trainers - Kira and Erin were both awesome. They were motivating and were coaching folks on form if needed. I really liked the resistance bands added to the row machines and the exercise dice at the end added a nice twist to the class! I am a current member of F45 at another location in Southern California. I was in Bonita Springs, FL visiting family and wanted to find a local F45 to stay on track with the 8 Week Challenge (for F45 prospects: this is an 8 week program that F45 offers a few times per year, highly recommended... it includes meal plans, grocery lists, and coaches to help motivate you thru the 8 week program). The Corkscrew location was super convenient for me so I decided to get in a Saturday workout. This gym is awesome! My first impression was the equipment. Being open for only a year or so, the equipment is brand new and larger than most. You can tell they keep the gym clean. Gotta love a clean gym :) Every Saturday, F45 has a live DJ. The Corkscrew location has the DJ playing on a stage built up above the gym floor... It's pretty cool. The DJ was great and really gets you motivated to push thru your workout. Coaches: The coaches were awesome. Bobby, Kiana, and Erin coached the two workouts I attended. All three were fun, motivating, and high energy. Good vibes all around. To me, having motivating coaches that push you and correct your form is a necessity. These coaches did not disappoint... I was very impressed. Overall, this gym is awesome. I will definitely be back! F45 Training Corkscrew - Trainers Near Me - Fort Myers, Florida

I called this location last week and I was told to show up 15 mins before class to sign up as first time visitor. I've been here 30 mins passed their first class time and no one showed up. The business looks open but not a soul has shown up. There are also no signs here saying if the business is open or not. I tried to call this place twice ( and the one in Naples)and went to answer machine every time. I downloaded the Mindbody app as their website suggest and not one class showed up on their agenda. Place looks nice from outside the windows but pointless if no one works here. Highly disappointed as I've heard good things about this place but didn't live it up to the hype. - Giving two stars because the locations looks nice from outside the window read more

Moved here from living in big cities my whole life. I'm a huge fitness junkie and have probably tried every kind fitness studio from Barry's bootcamp to soul cycle to orange theory, I've done them all religiously. I have to say after doing the week trial I was hooked. Fastest results you'll ever see are with F45. I know I don't have time to put in a whole hour of working out every day. But a hard ass 45 minute workout that flies by because it's designed so perfectly that you don't even realize it's over when you look at the clock?, sign me UP. The worst thing is paying for a fitness class that you can't wait to be over when it just started, so don't waste your money anywhere else, and just spend your money here. It's never been easier to maintain my fitness goals than it is now that I've joined F45. Hoping to see more and more people join in on the fun. read more

When I first started, I thought it was just going to be another gym I would use the free trial and that would be all. 7 months later, the trainers and members are truly my family and push me harder every single class. I observed a class and also participated in a trial class and the staff are not very helpful here. The coaching was subpar and no one was very encouraging. Coaches basically watch you and that's all. It's convenient for college students, but unprofessional compared to other gyms in the area. read more

Beware of this facility. I enjoyed the workouts, but have never been so taken advantage of and I've learned my lesson. I'm a student at fgcu living in student housing. I signed up in February for the student rate of 35 a week as opposed to the normal rate of 50 a week. The first two times I was charged, I noticed it was for 50 and not 35. I spoke to two trainers who reassured me that would be fixed because I was a student. The problem persisted for another 3 weeks so I was charged the normal rate 5 times at 50 a week instead of 35 a week. After the 5th week I told the trainer again nothing had been fixed. They apologized and said that they would make sure the owner contacted me to fix this issue. I then inquired about signing up for a year so I didn't have to worry about wrong payments being withdrawn. The trainer said this could be done and the owner would contact me to go over everything and how much that would be along with fixing my Overcharged issue. I awaited a phone call but no one contacted me. The 6th week that money was supposed to be withdrawn, my bank account was hit with 47 separate transactions of 40 dollars. So 1880 was withdrawn from my account without anyone speaking to me and without me signing anything. I then tell the trainer this because at this point I have not met the owners. The trainers again apologize and tell me that there management is disorganized and they assure me this will be fixed because again I was overcharged which is what I was trying to rectify. A couple of months pass and still nothing has been done. I end up getting a job promotion in Tampa and inquire about cancelling the remaining portion of my membership and also the reimbursement of all my overcharges. I speak with Mike, the owner, in person at one of the classes and he assured me that this would be taken care of. After disrespectful back and forth emails accusing me of being irrational, and being ignored I threatened to go to small claims court because at this point I don't think I'm getting my money back. Remarkably after threatening that a letter arrived with a check of 1320 in alliance with my cancellation, but the letter entails that they are supposedly entitled to 50% of everything they illegally withdrew from my account without my authorization which to me was laughable. The letter also stated that they never agreed to charge me at a student rate which is so incredibly frustrating because the student rate is why I signed up in the first place. Long story short, these people tried to take advantage of me and still shorted me 150 dollars.The whole experience was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and made me extremely upset. I am a student who works full time and tried to be patient for months only to be treated like this. I hope this can make others aware that clearly there is only one motive even though it appears they have your interest at heart. All in all I feel very taken advantage of because of the promise of a student rate. I know it may not sound like a lot of money but I work hard for every dime I earn and I didn't appreciate this experience. read more

I'm just about to finish my free week trial and I already signed up for a membership. It's a bit on the pricy side but I think it's totally worth it. Not only is the Corkscrew facility a great place to workout, but the trainers are very friendly and it's also well kept and very clean. I think the trainers are the best part and the reason I'd like to keep going, they're insanely supportive and they help challenge you so that you can get the best results. I am obsessed!!! They are the best! Trainers are super intuitive, kind, and instructing. Feels like a personal training session everyday I go! Been going the past two years 5-7 times a week and I still feel sore and challenged every class without fail. The trainers help me with form, technique, and are so motivating when I feel like taking it easy-push me to work hard! A smile and "how are you" or "good morning" is without a doubt always the case when I walk in. All the other F45ers are super friendly, have made some great workout buddies and friends from F45 who I can count on for accountability, motivation, and friends to hangout with outside of the gym too! The socials are the best! So much fun and meet people who go to other class times at them too. I would have literally zero strength if it was not for this place.
