They are a CrossFit gym but they also offer so much more from boxing, HIIT, yoga, kids classes, and a cold plunge and sauna. They offer all of the latest equipment and weights you can use. The schedule is very flexible as they have classes starting at 5am all the way to the latest at 615pm. They also feature a supplemental area where you can buy various pre workout drinks, electrolyte replenishers, and protein powder. They have two big areas for CrossFit classes and plenty of space to use the equipment. All of the classes I have taken there the coaching has been top notch. They really go over the correct form for the lifts and you are always leaving the gym sweating and feel you have had a great workout. I can't recommend this gym enough as everyone has been friendly and offers a great community and support for newbies. It is super easy to sign up for classes and the price is reasonable for everything you get and all the extra amenities that are offered.

The groups are so much fun and everyone is so supportive no matter what your level is. As my life goes thru many changes (adding kiddos), this place has been awesome for me and my family. Jon is a amazing coach, and pushes me to get better every time I step in the box. It's a great feeling to impress yourself when you attempt a new workout or lift a heavier weight.

It's a big gym, rubber flooring throughout the entire place, with 8-9 Olympic lifting platforms, nice Rogue barbells, nice bumper plates and an AWESOME selection of kettlebells. The kettlebell trainers are all super-qualified and certified and it is THE place to go to learn the art of kettlebell training. I am writing this review because I am a huge fan of Chris' program and not because I am in any way…read moreconnected to Synergy Fitness other than being a very satisfied client. Chris Spears has developed a great fitness program at Synergy Fitness. It is a small-group personal training concept that delivers an very efficient full-body workout in less than one hour. Each session incorporates several different exercises in a short-interval format. TRX bands, medicine balls, kettle bells, Bosu, bands, ab rollers, platforms and free weights may all be used. The workouts change every day. Each exercise employs several muscle groups, so that you get an entire body and core work out in addition to aerobic exercise. This is done in a low-impact style where Chris emphasizes using the correct technique to maximize the benefit of each exercise while minimizing the chances of injury. I have worked out for many years and most recently had done kick-boxing and circuit/HIIT/boot camp classes. However, I injured my foot early this year and realized that I had to limit the amount of high-impact exercises to allow my injury to heal. I found Synergy Fitness through a Groupon that Chris was offering and it is the best thing I could have done. I have a longstanding lower back issue which intermittently flares up with exercise; in the last few years, I always have had a minor to major ache in my lower back. Rolling over in bed, bending over, etc. could frequently be painful. With the strengthening of my core through exercising at Synergy combined with better awareness of how to protect and stretch my back, I am now largely pain-free after only a few months. It has been so gratifying to not feel this pain as I go through my day, and I give Chris' program a lot of credit for helping me achieve this goal. People of all fitness levels work out at Synergy and the class format works well for those in great shape as well as for those just starting or getting back into working out. Chris has a great personality and I really enjoy the time I spend there. With work and two kids at home, I love the fact that I can get an amazing workout in 50 minutes! He has several morning and evening classes every weekday and morning classes on Saturdays. And while I like to think that I'm in really good shape, I also realize that it is easy to injure myself (late 40's). I like the fact that the goal is not to perform the exercises at a frenetic pace, but to do them at a pace that allows me to get the maximum benefit from each exercise without unnecessarily risking injury. There are usually 4-8 people working out in a class with room for 12 and the atmosphere is very pleasant. It's not unduly competitive and people are friendly. I feel that many people could benefit from this type of class. If you are thinking at all about trying it, I encourage you to go. It usually takes a class or two to get familiar with many of the exercises you will encounter, but then it is easy to pick up any new exercises. Chris and Michael are great at explaining and demonstrating the workout at the beginning of every class, and they give feedback throughout the session on an individual basis. He has a great introductory offer for new clients - 10 sessions for $35. There are many more reviews/testimonials if you go to his website: http://synergy-fitstudio.com. Go for it!

Because there was no question the music was playing at decibel levels that would actually harm your hearing, and the leader's shouting over it didn't help, I used an app to measure them at my 2nd class. From start to finish of the 45 min class, even though the music and the leader were less thundering, the decibels consistently measured at the "this WILL damage your hearing" levels. Add to that the jargon and the abbreviated commands they use, how fast you have jump on and off one machine to another, and how complicated the system is when it's a treadmill, rowing machine, and weights class, as a beginner I was completely lost and couldn't even understand what the instructor was saying. And that instructor kept pushing me to use weights that I knew were too heavy, even though I told her I'd been in physical therapy for an arm injury. There are NO "beginner"classes, or any other levels except "full speed ahead." The theory is that everyone will go at their own pace, which is not possible the way it's structured. The second instructor was much better, and it was "only" a treadmill class, but still the pace and the many variations every few minute were too challenging for me, a rank beginner, and someone just getting back into exercising. But ultimately, I would not continue working out in a place that would further damage my hearing.

Ready Set Flow truly feels like a community - one that is eager to welcome new friends and make everyone's experience at the studio a great one. All three times I've done yoga at Ready Set Flow, both the instructors and other yogis were warm and kind, immediately welcoming me into the fold. I've taken classes with both Laura and Tresa. Both were extremely knowledgeable and non judgemental - pushing me to work hard but also offering mindful modifications. This studio is beautiful and vibey but not the least bit pretentious. Each time I've practiced here was meaningful, the skillful instruction allowed me to take away from class exactly what I needed. I've been telling all of my friends to check out this studio, and you should too! They deserve all of the success and recognition. I can't wait to go back!

Brining guests is a complete hassle and you're charged a non refundable fee of $25 if life changes happen and you don't come with a guest that day. On several occasions I was denied guests even tho it was well before the required 24hour application to request them. On multiple occasions my requests were completely ignored and went unreported to even if they were placed 72hours in advance. We stopped by the cafe on the way out. I tried the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The grilled cheese had apples in it and had good flavor. However, the tomato soup just tasted like thick, sour, tomato paste. It was not creamy like typical tomato soup.
